Hi babe,

How about a cuppa tea? I just had a nice Earl Grey whilst sitting in a bubble bath and reading a good book - for 1 hour!!! I also find this time tricky - this is what I do:

* down about 600 mls water
* have cup of tea / or glass of sprite zero but I find the sugar can make me even more hungry
* have half an apple (I like to save the other half for dinner just in case I am starving!!!)
* a little walk or hang / fold washing to get my mind off it
* if still starving I have 1 of my cracker allowance - but it takes it away from my dinner then

Hope these little tips help babe - STAY STRONG!! YOU CAN DO IT!!!

Bells xx

Just checking in on the team!! How is everyone doing?

We are into Day 4 now -- over half way through Week 1 - I know alot of us are starting again or have deviated recently so I am just checking in to make sure everyone is coping OK with the detox!

Thirtyone31, hope you survived your tricky time yesterday and that my ideas could help a bit?

Stay strong guys, just keep visualising your slim, healthy and happy self!

Hey miss motivating loving the support you are giving everyone bells.

Detox isn't hurting me yet, but I'm sure it will. Panadol packed in handbag today
Had to go bed last night when I started looking in fridge for food at like 9:30pm - but I was good.

Hurry up week 1 - once through this the numbers will keep motivation going at full strength!

Bells you totally need to change your name to the cheer leader ! Such a great motivator you are! Day 3 back on plan for me today and so far so good. Not feeling that hungry...got a slight headache but I think it is more my neck than detox. My belly has shrunk already and the scales are treating me well (but I didn't hope on I promise...ok..maybe a little peek). My house mate made pumpkin cake late last night which smelled sooooooo good but I didn't actually even think about having any. That is a GOOD sign!

Thirtyone31 hope you survived the afternoon munchies. My tips are the same as bells...water always works a treat. Try to save more food for the arvo than in the mornings. And maybe mix up your meals. Or if you are having yoghurt for brekky have egg instead as you might find it keeps your fuller longer. I've also swapped my crackers to vitawheats so if you are allowed them try them instead I find they fill me up more than saladas.

Keep on dropping!
Kirst

Hey DM,

Maybe try putting a slice of lemon in it. DON'T squeeze it though as then you have to count it as part of your fruit for the day...or if you're happy to use it as some of your fruit allowance, cut up half a lemon into slices to put into your water through the day.

Also try cold water...might help.

Kirst

Thanks for the tips Kirst - I know how much difference it will make if I can consume the amount of water I am supposed to. Instead of just sipping on it all day, I tend to try and drink a whole lot in one go and then spend forever running backwards and forwards to toilet!
