Thanks lovelies!! Day one again today, took yesterday to make sure I was feeling better, must have been a random tummy thing? Anyway all good so far, egg and vege for breakfast. Bagged up a whole lot of protein last night and chucked in the freezer so felt good to get that done

Yum, I love soup for lunch. It always looks so much bigger because of all the stock. Hope your feeling better now. I couldn't think of anything worse than throwing up what little food we do have, what a waste!

Day 2 halfway done and all good Really tired today though, I'm assuming that is normal for first few days until my body gets the gist of it all. Finding it a bit of a mission to get all of my water in as well, will need to make an effort to keep that up I think!

Yeah I carry my metal 700g water bottle with me everywhere - now if it's not by my side and doesn't have water then I will notice within 10 minutes and be like "NEED WATER!". Takes time to get into habits - a friend once told me that apparently it takes 3 weeks to break old habits and create new habits. So first 3 weeks you really might need to concentrate on creating the new habits you want to create and then after that it will be much easier!

Thanks Caz, will def make an effort to do that with the water bottle
So day 3 today, yesterday had a pretty bad headache so went to bed early and it was gone this morning. I'm surprised today - I'm not hungry?!? Isn't it way too soon for that? Have just had lunch so will see how the rest of the day goes |

Sounds like you are getting used to your plan! I was/have been pretty lucky - very few days of real hunger on plan - and I don't remember being hungry at all the first few days - probably my body was feeding off that last feed of fish and chips!

Day 4 done and dusted! Am proud of myself for doing so well on a Saturday, usually we have takeaways tonight but I cooked up a yummy chicken mince stir fry instead

Day 6 today! Have discovered the best way to have my yoghurt is to whip it into a smoothie, mango and nectarine yesterday - so good! Loving my stir fries for lunch and dinner is usually whatever the rest of the family are having Cohen's style Excited to do my week one weigh in on Wednesday morning, I have been taking a few sneaky peeks and have been pleased to see the scales going down

Day 6 and going along quite nicely! I am really loving chicken mince at the moment. Tried a baked apple for the first time last night, it was really nice. Having my diet coke and sprite zero as my treat drinks and trying to keep my water intake up as well

hi KiwiC, I havent posted to you before but from what Im reading it looks like you are about to get a wonderul result tomorrow at weigh in.
Baked apple is my treat most days and I like it on top of salada cracker which has had sprite poured over the top, goes soggy, then the apple and cinnamon and yumo it's almost like apple pie. Try it and enjoy and remember to use your sprites etc for cooking too. |

Hey tooth fairy, thanks for popping in! The salada and apple creation sounds yum, will definetly have to try that one
Argh just realised I have made a few mistakes last few days!! Pretty sure I had 3 serves of fruit instead of my 2 (mango in smoothie, orange and baked apple). Completely slipped my mind about the mango! Also I knew you had to wait 2.5hrs after crackers to have anymore but didn't realise you could only eat 2 at a time - bugger! Ate them all in one go for morning tea yesterday. I see why they emphasise reading and rereading our plans |
