Well done mate
Us blokes do have it a bit easier....I'm still surprised by losses. I also drank on most days, but I am so surprised at how I don't miss it at all...don't think I will be returning to old habits of drinking every day, did me no favours at all.... Keep it up, PS: Loved your post about swalowing the gum!!! |

Re: mcpsych's diary
heres a revelation (of sorts)
whenever i go into coffee shops I always scan the joint looking for a chair without arms ( because fat bastards are uncomfortable in them even if they do manage to squeeze in) anyway, did this the other day and no unarmed chairs ( they all had weapons hehe) so i sat in one , AND, i actually managed to sit in it not on the edge- for a moment i was confused and had to check that i had actually hit the chair and not someones lap haha

Re: mcpsych's diary
Ohh nice McPsy!
It's weird how we make exceptions for ourselves to combat our weight issues... I think it will take a bit of re-working of our minds to learn what we don't have to do due to our weight anymore (and even more the more we lose) Like whenever I sit down, I always sit on the edge of the seat first and take most of my weight onto my thighs to test that the chair can handle me (I think I have been scarred from movies like 'shallow hal' where the chairs get broken by chubbies)... I would die of embarrassment if that happened to me. There are a lot of things I wouldn't do, just in fear of drawing attention to my weight... Anyway, keep up the great work! xMissy

Re: mcpsych's diary
hahaha
made me think i think i have broken a world record number of plastic garden chairs. I have also broken office chairs ( especially the wheel supports) and the piece de resistance ( that would be in french if i could get the accents to work) I once broke an office desk by sitting on it- straight down the middle they dont make office equipment like they used to , eh. haha

Re: mcpsych's diary
Oh mate, try living in Japan, it was such a regular feature shattering chairs in restaurants.....
One time, as I was tangled in the broken bamboo around me, I looked up only to find a tour group surrounding me, camera's flashing, and cam corders trained on me. The absolute horror..... I remember also being on the subway in Tokyo and standing for an old woman, she and her daughter sat in my space..... Thankfully can look back now and say never again! |

Re: mcpsych's diary
Beached as indeed!!
I think that horror was only marginally worse than when I needed a new belt, was sent to, what was apparently the largest department store in the world, only to find, they didn't stock my size..... The assistant went to great lengths to get me the address to a "speciality" store, I turned up to discover it was the Sumo wrestlers outfitters!!! Crack me up. Mate, you are doing so well, and you so sound like you are in the right space....good on you, I feel like I have been given a second chance and I suppose I have been. |

I'm sorry ladies, but it is by a gentlemans invitation only. It was my first big test- first time i have ever turned down free booze- and not any booze- moet et cgandon, any spirit you wanted. And the deserts OMG ask me how holier than thou I feel today hahahaha

major event yesterday- went to Target and purchased jeans off the shelf- admittedly they are 132 waist ( stretch jeans stretched to the max hahaha) but i figure i will shrink into them. First time since jesus played full back for jerusalem that i have been able to buy anywhere but kingsize menswear.

Re: mcpsych's diary
went to the club on sunday- raffle tickets- so i won a ham 7.5kgs- this thing looked like one of my legs. made locally by a butcher up the road. Took it home and cut it into pieces for the freezer ( i figure i will get to eat it one day) OMG it was the most delectable smell, the cat and dogs got to try some and i lived vicariously through them. All evening i could reminisce as the smokey smell stayed on my hands. mmmmmmmmmmm ham aaaaaahhhhhhhhhh.
hahahaha

Re: mcpsych's diary
Hi Mcpsych, i just read through your di, funny man! You can have the ham on refeed! Until then you will just have to get a piece out every once in a while look at it, take it for a walk or a drive, maybe get some on your hands and dab a bit behind your ears, you may as well enjoy your ham even though you can't eat him for a while.Happy losing and keep up the great effort.
