Hey guys..

Sorry I haven't been around to comment etc lately.. I feel real bad.. you guys are always here to pick me up. I think you're all so awesome.

Isha.. You are more than welcome.. I know that losing so much weight seems to overwhelming, but if you take baby steps, a day at a time & stay focused you can achieve anything I wish you all the best.

Well I'm off to get weighed in a couple of hours. I'm actually not looking forward to it. I know I have lost this month but I dont think it's up to its usual standards LOL..
It's been a really tough month filled with sickness & stress, but I have stuck to the programe 100%.

I'll let you all know how I went when I get back.

Fingers crossed :P

hi faithy, i cant believe you have lost so much without constantly needing reassurance from this forum, like me! another amazing woman on this site. 51kgs in six months is phenomenal, not sure why you think you wont drop the rest by may but you need to WAKE UP GRL you will be there way before may at this rate. either way with the weight you have lost you are going to have plenty more birthdays in may! hope your feeling better as well as your cat, love my little moggy too, sometimes more than the dogs, husband and children (theyre all male, cat and i only females in the house!)

keep going you legend
cheers penny

Thanks Penny .. Yeah we're all feeling heaps better, thanx hey ..

So now is a new month.

Yesterday I had my weigh in & I lost another 6 kilos!!.. Yeah I am bummed a little & the reason is I am 1.6 kilos away from being under 100.. arrrghhhh .. I'm under 100 on mine though & I KNOW that next weigh in I will be under 100. (Ugghhhh I can't believe I shared my weight with you all)

It's been the slowest in loss for me this past month & I'm not quite sure why, but this month is a new one & I remain as focused as ever.

I have to share this with you cause I was way excited about it..
Have you ever bought an item of clothing that you just LOVED & knew it didn't fit, but told yourself that one day you were going to fit into this??
Well about 13 years ago I use to work in a ladies fashion clothing store. They had this top that I LOVED but it just didn't fit. It was way too tight. So anyway I bought it saying just that. One day I'll fit in to this.
So on Tuesday I thought oh I wonder if it will fit & low & behold it was almost too big!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHA.. I just couldn't believe it. It's a size 18 too. How odd to be 100 kilos & be a size 18..

I also did my measurements & to date have lost 119cms all over.. icckkk that's over a metre LOL..

Anyway.. wishing you all the very best success

hey faithy, i was around 100kgs and a size 18 so we must be aabout the same height, i am 170cms or 5 fott 8 (ish). i think the funny thing is that i have only been on the program for two weeks and my size 16 cotton pants that i am wearing right now are really comfortable. two weeks. bloody hell my body must be loving this. still havent weighed myself and dont really want to till the four week mark.

keep putting that shirt on until it really is ridiculously too big. great self esteem boost. wont be long now mate.

cheers penny

Wow Faithy

You are an inspiration! What a wonderful feeling - 6 kilos in the month is still huge! I think we need to remind ourselves how much harder or whould I say IMPOSSIBLE that we could loose 6 kilos in a month on any other diet? Bloody fantastic I rekon! Not far from the 90's now keep it up

That's a fabulous loss, Faithy. I agree with Ropemaha, you'd better keep wearing that top because in a couple of weeks it'll just slip off your shoulders. Keep up the great weight loss, ever shrinking Faithy

Thanks guys.. you're all so awesome.. I have no doubt that on another diet things would be heaps slower.. acutally for me I could never last the distance on any of the other diets that I tried.. once I had a taste of anything slightly wicked I lost the plot.. the thing I love about this one is that when you stick to it 100% you just don't want to give in.. well I know I dont want too..

I bought a pair of size 18 jeans about a month or 2 ago & was totally bummed that I couldn't even get them past my knees, yesterday I wore them & I have to say I can't get over how quickly my shape & size keeps changing.. so bizarre

Penny.. yeah I fluctuate in height but I usually go between 173cms to 178cms.. I have no idea why so much so I just tell everyone I'm about 5'8..
One thing I find totally frustrating is that not all shops size 18s are the same.. most are, but occasionally I'll go into a shop & there's no way on this earth their 18 is going to fit me, yet from another shop the 18 will be really big on me.. bleh!!!!

I'm finding I have all this energy now. I'm not the same lazy cow that use to sit on the lounge all day feeling sorry for myself while I downed a packet of roast chicken chips, followed by caramello chocolate. My house is now always tidy & clean & I feel guilty if I sit down for too long. I now help hubby out with our business cleaning carpets etc, rather than just answering the phones.. hense why I hardly ever get to go online anymore, I'm never home.

I only have one thing that gets me down a little & I'll get into that with you all next time. Perhaps someone can shed a little light for me.. I did write a little bit about it on the forum labeled ketosis..

Thanks for all who have shared their encouragement & support.. I wish you all the best over the weekend XXX

Faithy, you've lost what 56kgs?

Jeepers, I reckon your body is allowed to say, OK this month I'll do 1.5kgs a week, yeah that sounds good.

Let's face it, on anything else losing 1.5kgs a week is huge!!!

So just soak up your successes!!

(Otherwise, your body might know and want you to worship at the evil sugar seductress temple again!!)

So so SO true.. 1.5 is heaps.. I think my body has been suffering from a lot of stress this past month so I dont think that has helped..
I just looked at my weight ticker thingy & got all excited.. I'm pretty much over 2/3 of the way.. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel..
I'M SO EXCITED :P

Hi Faithy,

What a wonderful way to start these lovely summer days with 56 kg gone. Enjoy watching your body 'down size'. I am still so excited and can not wait to
star on Tuesday when I can see what amazing impact this program can have on people like you - welld one on all the good work to date - you must be so proud.

Given that this program seems to be very focussed on balancing hormones and you just having had a really stressful week I would suggest that
that absolutley has had an impact.

I woudl have to say in the past if I had had a 1.5 kg weight loss i would be jumping over the moon. Take it as a great loss and now focus on reducing
the stress (if you can) and your next weight in.

Take care of yourself and take pride in the success to date.
Daisy.

Hi Faithy,

Quote:
I can't get over how quickly my shape & size keeps changing..
I'm sure I've read on here that 6Kg is one clothing size. Now, I'm not sure, as MOST "sizes" seem to go up/down in 2's - I RARELY read of "Size 11" or "Size 9" - I think "a clothing Size per 6Kg" is usually accepted as "2 clothing Sizes per 6Kg". Or, would that be "1 clothing Size is 3Kg"?

Anyway, I THINK I'd be right in going with the accepted norm - if anyone can comment on this, please do.....

So, how's this for a "Faith calendar" (I think you said you are around size 18 now - and that your weight loss is steady at 6 - 7 Kg per month):-

Early Dec - Size 16
Early Jan - Size 14
Early Feb - Size 12
Early Mar - Size 10
Early Apr - Size 8 (and at refeed?)

Umm - I don't think we should go too much lower - otherwise you'll be shopping in 10 year old girls' shops

Keep on doing it 100% for you and that is your future, girl - and you've created it all for yourself by your dedication to the program (and WHAT a program, eh? Cheers to Santa).

As Andy would say - you are a true blue champion, and such an inspiration,

Koh

Oh Koh!!!!!!! That made me cry.. good tears of course.. I dont know how the sizes work.. I've been trying to work that one out.
This is the smallest I've been in 12 to 15 years.. I just cant wait till I've finished.. it's almost overwhelming really.. but your predictions just made me jump with excitment. (& tears)..
Just the thought of being able to walk in to any 'normal' clothes shop & buy things that 'normal' people wear is almost too much.. I cant remember the last time I did that.

In March my daughter is having her 21st birthday party.. I am sooooooooooooooo excited!!! It's a dress up & the theme is pirates.. haha my ex will be there, he hasn't seen me since before I started the program.. well I wont say any more about that one except that.. me in a size 10??? Far out!!!!!!

Thanks heaps everyone.. you keep things in the right perspective..

Wishing you all the success.

Hi Faithy,

Just keep on at 100% and it's all waiting for you Faith....

You have walked a long (sometimes lonely - but not now ) walk - and this is your future, girl. I reckon you'll be the best looking pirate at your daughter's 21st.

Sounds to me that you like your new calendar Print it out, and put it on your fridge - but then, I don't think you even need to do that - from what I read, you've been 100% all the way, so little need for incentive for you. You will just keep on walking the walk, and end up at where you want to be. My hat is off to you Faithy - you are a star.

And thank you for your response (it gave me quite a thrill to read it) - I have never done Cohens but I do appreciate people who are helping themselves, and I applaud them for that (and add what I can, even though I haven't experienced their path). It's posts like yours that tell me that I can still be useful on here - despite my lack of direct experience with Cohens. In short, I just LOVE what the good Doctor has provided - and what Asy and LF have provided too. Isn't this forum awesome??

Koh

It sure is Koh.. I'm just a bit disapointed I can't get on here more often. It seems the lighter I become the more active I become & then all these people or things or whatever need help etc & so I'm just so super busy.

I bought a franchise 3 years ago this month .. a carpet cleaning franchise.. & since that time I've spent most of the time in the office answering phones etc.. now I'm out on the road with hubby cause he got sick & then hurt his back. I at first wanted to sell it but then realised that I couldn't.. it has been his dream & mine for such a long time to work for ourselves.. I spose more so him than me really.. but I decided to stand by him, support him & so now I'm out on the road most days with him.. Monday's I work at our church (as mentioned about THAT lady I work with) & other spare moments I try to fit in visiting people who are sick etc..
I really dont know what's come over me (or why I felt the need to type this all out to you all).. but I just can't stop.

Anyway, I must jump off this awesome place & go do some horrid paper work.. On a Saturday night *bleh* LOL..

Koh.. I had no idea that you hadn't done Cohens.. You've been amazing to me in just the shortest time .. you are just so awesome to want to help & encourage... thanks heaps!!!!!!!!!!!

Ahhh such an interesting week I've been having. I'm still hanging in there, following the program 100%.

Last visit to the clinic as you know I lost 6 kilos. I had my blood test expecting it to come back with no deviations because well simply, I haven't.. however every single time I get a blood test back it says I have a slight deviation. This is really starting to bug me out.. I take commuion at church once a fornight, so I figured it was that, sl last month I didn't take it at all.. still a slight deviation.. in fact I think it came back as something consumed outside the guidelines.. after much thought & emailing to my consultant it turns out it's the good ol mouth wash (wont mention the name here).. while I may not be swallowing it it still gets absorbed in to my body.. one has to wonder how the weight loss will look if I stop using it..

Here's to finding out

Mouthwash!!

Wow - maybe that was my borderline deviation. I am the clean teeth nazi - you want them for life don't you!

Look at your ticker, even if your weight loss slows to 6kg a month, in 5 months you'll be at your goal. (April 0 As a worst case scenario that's not bad!!!

Keep it up, if you have a really bid weight loss month (8-10kgs) it'll be March 08.

Well done.
