Thanks zojoho - I might pop a pill when I get home from work. I didn't know for sure if you could or not, its not on my list! ah hahaha! been drinking lots of water and can not nap at work, unfortunately!

Can I ask why the fear of Mangos? In all seriousness I knew someone who was actually scared of tomatoes! For real! I have had mango before, but only in a cocktail. I was relieved to learn that it was the mango I liked, not just the mango daquari!

I will have to look up the recipe for the tacos, good idea! Although I found myself having to put the book down yesterday as i was getting hungry just reading about some of the stuff!

Thanks for dropping n on me, I will do the same!

All the best
Kat

hahaha..I'm not "scared" of Mangoes as such, but rather fear that they will taste yucky or something. A bit like a Child not wanting to eat their vegies b'coz they're "yucky". Lol.

Lmao @ your friend who was scared of Tomatoes..that's farny

I have a friend who's scared of Polystyrene/Foam - you know the stuff they use for packing?? Well, she was petrified of it..my Hubby used to stir her up about it all the time.. such a Meanie he was.

Zohojo - (at the risk of sounding like a Mum trying to convince her kiddies to eat vege LOL) you should try them, they are lovely!

As for your husband, don't worry mine did the same with the tomatoes! Men hey??

Day three for me!

Head ache finally seems to be packing its bags, THANK GOD! Although last night I felt really tired. ** TMI ALERT ** heading to 'that time of month' so maybe it is that. Even though, not feeling as bloated as normal. Usually I feel as if I am going to blow up - literally - one poke and I would pop! haha!

Ah bummer, just went to eat my lunch and realised I forgot my fork! Now I am eating chicken and salad with my fingers...charming!

I stepped on my scales this morning and I am definately down. By how much exactly I don't know as I think my scales were about 400g different to those sat the clinic? Anyway, give or take 400gs (??) I think I am already down 2kgs! What the???

Trying hard not to get too excited or ahead of myself... just breathe! Could this actually be working for ME???????

I am going to do my best not to get back on those scales until at least Monday night (same night I will do my week 1 measurements) and have a peek at the scales then. I have an actual appointment at the clinic on Tuesday 10th Nov, I will weigh myself on their scales then and update my ticker with that result! Looking forward to that!

No deviations, stuck to everything like glue since starting. Looked at some of my husbands dinner last night and just kept chanting in my head.. one week one week....
So not worth it! Well it worked and I wasn't really tempted it was more just the stupid picky habit, I think!

Been spending a little time reading other peoples diaries which definately keeps me motivated so thank you to everyone who is sharing their journey, you don't know how much it helps me! MWAH!

Oooh good to hear your headache is leaving the building... it is hard to get through the detox stage, but you simply must persevere, or you just prolong it.

I swear, I do not feel real temptation anymore... I want this, I want that.. but it is a fleeting thought... It's not like I have to really be stern with myself. This programme works, and YES it is working for you!!!!!! Your body is getting all that it needs... You're going to do great!

See ya later, chicken fingers (hahahaha)

Try slightly sparkling mineral water. I have Pellegrino. Not cheap, but I LOVE it. Green bottle in the supermarket. Or Perrier. Neither of them has a lot of bubbles, just enough to make it seem special. With the ice cream, freeze a mango and blend it. Or add mango to yogurt and make it frozen yogurt and have you 'breakfast' when you see you friends. They will be enviously eying your Pellegrino and frozen yogurt.

Hi,

You are doing fantastically! It is hard to believe how quick it starts working isn't it. I am just about finished week 3 and have lost 6.2kg and feel fantastic. Just can't wait to keep going really.

Once I got past day 4 I started to feel great. Think seeing the scales move like yours are gives you stronger resolve to keep being perfect.

Take care
Kel

Hi Katrin,

Thanks for the EXCELLENT idea, love your work!!!! That sounds perfect for me. I am actually going to go and do it this morning and have it for breakfast tomorrow! YAY

Congratulations on your results, 1kg under! Fantastic effort! How long did it take for you?

Have a wonderful day, forever grateful to you for giving me a 'Cohen's' solution to my 2 fav things!

Hi Kel,

Yes, I find it is very hard to believe how quick it has started to sort my body out! After years of trying EVERYTHING I wish I had of done this sooner. I knew about it ages ago but after my experience with Sureslim I was put off, thinking they were way too similiar. (what was I thinking?? ) It was only after spending time on this forum, looking around, that I was convinced it was worth 'a try'.

Stories like yours, 6.2kgs in weeks, I mean come on!!! Who wouldn't want that?? Congratulations on your loss and all the best for the journey ahead! Look forward to hearing all about it!

Kat

Hi Kat

yeah, I am pleased with the 1 kilo under. That is under the lower end of the Cohens target, which for me was 63 to 66 at size 10 shoes, which I usually, have or sometimes size 9, which would have made it 62 to 65.

However, I got down to 58 after refeed, and that is where I looked my best. So in my mind I am kind of 4 kilos over rather than 1 kilo under, and I am currently on my way back to 58 where I looked fab.

Altogether, I lost 15 kilos in about 4 months including refeed. I started still within the healthy BMI, which is I assume why I lost rather slowly compared to others.

Re the Pellegrino: I have hooked others on it already, eg see Debs who's also on here. It's such a nice treat. Some people don't like it cos they don't like sparkling mineral water. However, in Germany, where I come from, that's usually what we drink: sparkling mineral water from a natural fountain, or if we want it flat, we drink tap water which doesn't taste of chlorine. I have one 500 ml bottle every evening with dinner.

Good luck

Katrin

Tonight marks the completion of my first week! YAY! I am confident to say all good, unless I am doing anything wrong I do not know about?

I am going to do my measurements tonight, maybe a peek at the scales tomorrow morning too, even though I will not move my ticker until my first weigh in at the clinic. I got my first email from them this morning asking how I was going. They recommended looking at this site, I responded that I was already onto it! The support and motivation I have got from here in one week is awesome! Thanks everyone...

The weekend went well - followed my plan to the T! Even though I did have a fleeting moment of, I wish I could have a drink. Then also on Saturday afternoon after catching up with friends, I was hungry and my normal routine I would drive thru somewhere and get something. Again, I had the thought but as soon as it came into my head I was like, don't stress - just an old habit, old conditioning, see ya later thought!! hahaha! (crazy internal dialogue!) I am really looking forward to the future where that is not my immediate programmed thought about food and hunger. Bring it on!

Well have a great week everyone, best wishes all round!

Kat

Hey Kat!!!

Congrats on finishing the first week!!!!!

I noticed too, in the first week or so, everywhere I looked, I saw food... or I thought 'oh usually right now, I do drive thru maccas'... but you just persevere. It is what we want and what we need! So good job to you, and just keep telling yourself it is for the better, and eventually, you can try whatever you miss later on and I have a funny feeling it is all going to taste like absolute crap (well maybe not all, like my mum's rice pudding, but shhhhhhhh, let's not think about that). haha. I really mean like fast food...

When I went out for dinner on Staurday night, I was a teensy bit worried about temptation.. just thinking I will be bored while everyone else is eating dessert (and entrees too), but I so wasn't... I didn't even notice. I saw it, but I didn't feel deprived or even sad that I couldn't have any... It even entered my mind 'ohhh my goodness, I am not fussed about them eating dessert, what's happening to me?!' haha.

So, yep it definately gets easier... mind over matter basically.

xMissy

Enjoy your second week! Are you going to sneak a peek at the scales or be a good girl and wait for the official weigh in?!

Well I did do my measurements last night (and god knows if I am measuring the same spot??) But IF I am, then my measurements are down 10cms in total. Yes I peeked at the scales this morning and they have come down by 4KGS!!! WHAT THE????????? In one week????????? That can't be right??

I don't know, maybe my scales are wrong? I think I will change the batteries tonight, just to be sure. I do have a weigh in booked next week at the clinic, so I will definately take their reading and move my ticker!! Yay, can not wait to move my ticker!

Yes!!! Moving your ticker is the most delightful feeling!!

I think 4kgs in a week is very possible! But change your batteries if you think it'll help (might even go down more!) hahaha.

Great results in the measurements too. I don't think I measure mine too well either... but I try and find a freckle to go by... like I have one on my right thigh that I use as a marker and one on my arm, as well... As for my waist, I do one measurement at the smallest part, and also one across my belly button.

Wow, have I had a trying couple of days.... but I am SUPER proud to say say I have not deviated once! I have found my thoughts automatically thinking of old habits (comfort eating, I guess) but not given in to the urge/thought! Even though it is has seemed like an easy option, but ONLY for a split second! Check in, stay on track!

Nothing is going to get in my way, most of all - MYSELF!

I have a weigh in on Tuesday. I am going to call it my motivational weigh in, because thats all it is. A two week into the program jump on scales and see how Im doing and see how its working for me!! Eye on the prize!

My clothes are feeling a little different. I wouldn't say very loose, a little less squishy!! And it is even TOM for me! YAY.

Looking forward to Tuesday.
