an easy go to for me is
beef mince, stir fried then in go mushrooms, celery, zucchini, sprinkle of chilli flakes, garlic flakes, a pour of sprite zero and then a sprinkle of psyllium husks - thickens it up nicely and fills you up.
Can't go past the tom yum in the cohens cook book or the cheesy garlic bread, or the chicken nuggets served with coleslaw (chicken nuggs are on the recipe section of this forum)

My current fav is my beef stroganoff. I get a really nice cut of beef steak, slice thinly, then cook it with some onion until just brown. I make a sauce using mushrooms whizzed up with some water, paprika, mustard powder, garlic powder. Then I throw that into the pan with the meat/onion and add thinly sliced red and green cabbage strips. Cover it over, let it soften for a bit. Then take off heat and stir mayo through. Yummmmm. So delicious!

My faves after 7 days is:

Bfast: 'Iced coffee'
Lunch: Tuna salad with balsamic vinegar/mayo dressing
Dinner: Creamy chicken with veg and caulirice (obviously not on the same day as the tuna salad)

Whaaaat???? They had better be - unless something has changed in the last year - I live on saladas! Best allowed cracker I have found in NZ anyways (sounds like these "premiums" are pretty awesome, I should have looked for some when I was in Australia).

It's so good!

Brown mince, then add in garlic granules
Once done add in fair bit of water (I've just started adding more water and it gives it a sauce) plus a teaspoon of curry powder.
Add shredded cabbage (I also add onion, corqette and mushroom) cover and leave it to simmer for about 8 minutes.

I then always put a teaspoon of mayo in at as well once cooked for a creamy sauce.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm

Saladas are definitely allowed in NZ and Aus - I don't think we have it over here in SA, but it is our version of Pyotts Crackers from what I understand.

Thanks for this BB!! I have just been frying mine - this way sounds much yummier!

My faves so far:

Breakfast - Yogurt allowance + mango + water - mango smoothie!
Lunch - stir fry with either chicken mince, steak or mince
Dinner - Mustard chicken strips with salad/coleslaw or "sweetballs" - my new fave

Saladas are definetly allowed in NZ, either the original or the light ones

Oh this sounds yummier than my one, with adding the mayo etc so think I will try this one next time I have it (in a couple of days).

Babybear, I made your mince chow mein and it's YUMMO!!! Thanks for sharing!

I think I'll try substituting some of the veggies with enoki mushroom sometime, so it looks like actual noodles.

BTW, I had tuna sashimi last night. I just squeezed some lemon and sprinkled some salt, and it was ALMOST as good as dipping it in soy sauce. YUM!
