Hi Andie

You are such a dagg!! lol. Glad you had your massage it is the best feeling. I'm more of a bowen therapist which is also wonderful for when you are losing weight. As therapists we don't really care what the body looks like as you are concentrating on your treatment plan. And we are happy that anybody would come to see us as its a health benefit. With Bowen people can leave their clothes on so if it is a problem about getting undressed then this is ideal.

I haven't been on the forum as haven't had time to relax and sit. Just a bit of quick stalking and updating ticker.

So far its all going good, a few days of god I want something else to eat but haven't gone there. This is too important to me. I realised that I'm happy being selfish about it, as this is for my health and its not up to me to make others happy just so that I can join in their parties or eat their food. It's not for ever and I'm going to feel so much better later and we get to eat normally again soon. I'm really having a good look at my emotions and asking myself do I want to eat because I'm upset, bored or am I taking on other peoples emotions and making them my own. When I do this and go oh that's not how I feel that's their stuff, its like a calmness comes over me and I actually feel pretty happy and the grrrr want to eat now feeling goes.

I'm also going to Europe at the end of the month for 3 weeks and no I'm not even attempting to stay on the plan, BUT will be watching what I eat and how much. If we weren't going away I would have got to reefed in that month but I have a time goal so will be back on plan within the week of getting back. I have discussed with my consultant and if I just have a taste of things rather than eating the whole thing I should be able to maintain my weight or only put a couple of kilos on. If I go stupid I may put 5+ kilos on which would bring me back to weight I am now. So I'm quite happy about that and wont be depriving myself but as I've been on Cohen for a while it has taught me small amounts are fine and I'm not going to kark it if I don't have the big servings. LOL.

I was given a vibrating exercise machine by a friend so am doing that each morning just for 10 minutes to build up a bit of muscle for our trip. I have low blood pressure so this has been ideal to get my blood circulating without have fainting moments.

Good luck to all and remember to not take on other peoples crap (sorry for the slang but that is, what it is.) We are underneath happy healthy and wonderful people.

OMG!!!!

I have been wanting to get to 65.9 before we went away and I weighed this morning and ta da 65.6

So have decided to do a mini refeed so I'm not going from strict cohens to suddenly being off plan. Upping my protein and vege and am now having a fruit antioxidant gel and my strong vitamins that I haven't been allowed. Just building up my system. It's only 3 days to go now so will be interesting to see how my weight goes just with a few changes in the next couple of days.

Taking my crispbreads some home dried apple and kiwi fruit on the plane and will only eat when its in our timeframe. We leave 10pm at night so I wont need to have a meal until the morning. We get into Doha at 4am their time so I think its around 9am our time. If they give us breakfast on the plane I'll eat that otherwise will wait until we are in airport. Only there for 3 hour stopover then onto London.

All my new clothes I bought are loose so if I do put some on they will just fit me better. It's cost a fortune in new clothes makeup getting hair done but I just feel so good I actually want to get dressed up. Husbands not complaining!!

Will post tomorrow to see how the extra food has affected my weight. Planning on it being the same or down.

Exciting times ahead SSD. Have a fantastic time away (I love Europe), enjoy wearing those new clothes and follow your plan and you will be all good to carry on from where your left off when you get back.

So I weighed this morning and I'm 65.7kg or 65.8kg depending on where I put it on the floor. Got my TOM last night so taking the 100gms as that. Also sorry TMI haven't been to do ablutions as yet always the same at this time so a bit full up. lol.

Extra doesn't seem to be affecting me and I guess it wont so soon but psychologically I think its a good thing. This way I wont be stressing about having too much extra as I've already started. Don't worry I'm not going to go crazy and eat myself stupid. I've learnt a lot about how my body will cope with food and amounts. Going to relax and enjoy my holidays making some yummy healthy choices and will look forward to getting back on plan when I'm back.

Will report in tomorrow on my weight.

Sunshiny days to everyone. xxx

Well I'm off.

Weight is holding at 65.6kg. Time for a glass of moet and my tea of mozerella cheese and salad. Such a good girl. lol. Picked up freeze dried apple and mango not preserves etc so good for snacks.

See you all in 3 weeks.

I'm Baaaack!!!!!.........from my 3 weeks in Europe.

So I started off great having upped my cohens food just before I went away.

It was difficult to stick to Cohens so I didn't worry about it too much.

I did feel slightly nauseous for about 5 days as my body got used to other foods. I didn't over eat and ate my yoghurt and fruit as per cohens but other meals that were set for us always seemed to be pasta or pizza. Eventually I just ate what was around as its better to eat than not.....and drank red wine

My weight stayed steady until about a week ago then I noticed that my clothes were fitting not tight but a little firmer. We got the flu while away and had bad jet lag when we got back so I think the body is a bit run down. I haven't done any exercise since getting back but my weight is holding at 68.4kg. It was 65.6kg when I left. My clothes fit the same and my Mum said it doesn't look like I have put on any so am hoping its a lot of water weight.

I'm now getting back into weighing amounts and will be 100% tomorrow. So will let you know how quick it comes off. Have been off cohens 100% for 5 weeks now. 1 week at the start pure cohens but upped the amounts before we left.

Hope this helps someone else whilst on their holiday and I am just so impressed with the Cohens that I could go away eat everything and things I didn't eat before cohens and only put on a small amount of weight. Absolutely stoked!!!

Looking forward to getting to refeed and don't want to eat pasta or pizza for at least 6 months. lol.

Is this just not the most amazing eating plan! i went to Tuscany to visit my family for five weeks and ate pasta, drank red wine and had the most amazing pastries everyday and picked up two kg's... According to them when i got there i was a tad to skinny haha! so they enjoyed trying to fatten me up... all the best with refeed!

Sooooo...... thought I was pregnant so didn't start back on plan but got word today that it didn't stick around.

Monday will be a whole new start and I'm looking forward to getting back on plan and getting to refeed. I have a few social dos over the weekend so going to relax and have a couple of drinks and not worry about my food.

I must say though even though I've been off plan now for 6 weeks due to holiday overseas when I got back, apart from being pregnant, I haven't wanted to eat anything fatty or have a drink. No cravings or crawling the walls looking for something. Didn't realise I had this until it was gone and I don't have the desire to eat alllll the sweets and am happy with a small bit.

Love this Cohens plan and I hope you are all having wonderful success.

Will weigh in Monday.

Now starting Tuesday after my husband leaves to go back to the mines as he wants to go out for breakfast the day he leaves. Lunch will be the start of cohens for me on the Tuesday and I'm really looking forward to it. Hopefully this new weight that I have put on comes off quickly in the first week and I can get back into routine and looks like I will be doing refeed for Christmas but no biggie. Plenty years ahead for Christmas celebrations.
So weigh in tomorrow morning. Yay!!

Thanks everybody. It's been quite an emotional rollercoaster but I allow myself to grieve then pull my socks up and look to the future.

I weighed in this morning and I'm 69.3kg. Went shopping after hubby left and am organised for tomorrow morning. It will be good to get back to some structure.

Will weigh in next Tuesday to see how much has come off in the first week back.

Happy Cohening to everybody.
