Hang in there - it's all worth it!! I started on Monday and I felt quite ordinary up until yesterday but today I feel fantastic like some crazy endorphins are running amok inside me! You will get there just think skinny thighs! That always helps me out

Today is my first day on the program. I must admit I was so excited, I almost made myself sick with butterflies. Why? Cos I know that that deep down inside, a new external shell is going to be revealed!!

I enjoyed my breakfast and weighing out the food was interesting. 70g of mushrooms is a lot!

I will have to work out how to start a diary too and upload some pics!

Thanks for all the replies - its great to know you are not alone in this journey!!!

Thanks for the encouragement Julie. People like you keep bringing me back to this forum more than twice a day!

I completed day one ok. I was a lil bit hungry but I survived thanks to diet coke and sugar free gum.

I am enjoying this so far and already feel like I've lost some of the 'bloaty' feeling already.

I know the weekend is going to be tough though cos I like a nice glass of wine but I will continue to keep busy and away from temptation.

Plus when I am allowed wine again, I will be celebrating rather trying to numb the pain of being in this overweight shell!

Hi Determined - I'm with you on the wine - and that is such a great idea to think we'll be celebrating when we get to drink it at the end of the program - rather than wallowing in it now! I'm pretty disappointed today though - I was mean to get my program this arvo but the clinic has advised me it hasn't arrived yet... I was all geared up to start tomorrow - but now who knows when I'll actually get to start.... i just really want to get stuck in to this thing!!!

Hey Determined 28,
Just thought I'd drop you a line to say hello. I started on Sunday and so far, I'm staying strong. I'm similar to you, I can already fell an improvement, less bloaty - isn't it lovely!
I find breakfast to lunch the hardest part of the day, the 5 hour wait is not one my body is used to as yet...but I'm sure I'll get there!

Thanks Julie

I will make sure that the new me enjoys things in moderation not excessively (I love cheese too)

Angelbum

Sorry to hear that your program hasn't arrived yet. Just use the extra time to ensure you have rid the house of temptation and have ALL the equipment you need to get started.

I am still purchasing stuff I thought I didn't need. I had yoghurt with fruit this morning and it didn't taste too great. I think i need to add the sweetner with it. But i don't have any, so its on my list to pick up today after work.

Let me know when you have your program!

Hi Talia

Thanks for your reply.

Yes it is nice not to feel bloaty for once!!! I do struggle to get from breakfast to lunch more so today because I had a different breakfast. Eggs seems to leave me satisfied so I'll think I'll keep to the egg for breakfast.

You will get there just keep yourself busy. That's what I am trying to do!
