Hi all

Well did my measurements this morning have lost 53cms and on Monday I go in for my 8 week weigh in fingers crossed *come on the 20kg mark*. Decided to reward myself today for being 100% since day 1 and took Corbyn to AQUA (for the non Perth ppl it is Perth's big aquarium).

Then tonight going to the beach for a barbie with friends, and i will be making all the food for the others but dont worry I will be taking my Cohen's friendly meal (No deviations for me).

Peta

Hi Peta thanks for visting my diary and leaving some inspiration it really helped. 53cm lost wow, that is fantastic, if you look at that on a tape measure out straight you would be amazed. Have a fantastic deviation free day tomorrow.

Don' stress re baby bulge. You are doing the right thing now, so I agree with the other posts, don't push it. You probably do lots of exercise anyway with an active little one. My 'little one' is 8 years old and I weigh about what I did when I was full term with him. Very depressing, but onwards and upwards, and starting to feel better.

Looking forward to your 8 week weigh in. Are you only weighing 4 weekly? I've planned to do that as I don't want to mess my head with cyclical changes.

Keep up the great work,
Sharon

Hi all

Well I went in today for my 8 week weigh in and it official I have hit the 20kg mark and I am couldn't be more happy.

It is true if you are 100% then you will reap the benefits now I know I can do this I will never go back to being the old me.
And Sharon I usually only weigh in every 4 weeks but I think if in the future I feel like I might be struggling I would get on the scales it I feel would help me mentally but hoping that wont happen. Also MissNix as you can see all went great thanks for keeping an eye on me .

Thanks girls,

For once I know my future will be great and I will be healthy for the rest of my life.
I can take control and teach my boy to be healthy and show him (when he older) how his mum was before she got healthy and the benefits of living a healthy life and I owe all of it to Dr Cohen And his program.

Look out world !!!!!

Peta

Thanks for visiting my diary Peta. I'm sure people have alread told you but 20kg in 8 weeks, you couldn't ask for anything more could you. I hope you continue to lose this way until you reach your goal. I just realised like a light bulb moment that we have to deprive ourselves to lose the weight, because in the past we have always given into to our food desires. In the past when I have tried other diets they allowed indulence foods, which I think was my down fall, because one taste wasn't enough. So this program being really strict is good for me but have had some criticism that it is too strict and not a healthy way to lose weight. But the proof is in the pudding isn't. I will be the one looking trim and terrific at summer time.

Well almost 9 weeks in and I feel great no hunger pangs and no deviations I don't think I can do this anymore I know I can this will be the last time I will have to "diet" because I am never gonna let my body go to what is was before.

Everyone I see has commented on the way I look and happy to say it all been good feed back. Was almost tempted to buy more cloths yesterday but had to stop myself because I knew I would only be back buying smaller ones in the future cant wait to buy normal sized clothes in all the fashion (which I have never been able to get in my size ) and as for the new found energy I have I can finnally keep up with my son who is gettting more of a hand full everyday (he is 16 months old) which is great he loves it to when I'm able to run around with him.
Well that's all for now gonna go and enjoy my mango and yoghurt smoothy for breaky mmmmmmm

Well here I am again the start of another week.

I am doin well the weight is coming off at a very nice pace but yesterday was a some what hard day I felt hungry for most of it but not to fear I didn't deviate was just weird because since starting the program haven't felt hungry at all but there it is yesterday I'm guessing it could be that I had a sleep in and was eating all my meals later than normal Owell at least it was good today I have been reading some of the posts on here about skin sagging and have come to the conclusion that with the amount of weigh I need to lose i may invest in a good skin cream just to help with the tightening a little .
Hopefully it will have some affect on my skin.

Well hope everyone had a great day and hope you have a even better tomorrow.

Hi Peta,

I am using a rotation of Bio Oil and Palmers so am hoping that one of them works!! Both of them are really reasonably priced too so you can really slather them on. I am finding that my skin has really dried out on my arms and legs but hopefully that will sort itself out as my body gets used to things.

Good on you for still being deviation free despite the hunger!!

Hey peta,

Not sure if this will help but doing a face mask once a week and then putting on Bio Oil has really helped my skin... although I have to say I haven't had such dry skin prior to starting on cohen's.. but small price to pay and all that.
