I haven't seen the cracked pepper ones in ages. But did stock up on the originals when I saw them on the shelf.

Re: Surviving in Singapore
For those in Singapore, what multi-vits do you take and where do you buy them? I have some doctor-mixed ones but the B6 is too high. The consultant said to try them and see, so I tried them starting 2 days ago and am now feeling hungry, so I'll be trying something else.

Re: Surviving in Singapore
I take usana.
You can actually get them from ebay singapore at cheaper price. I think sms did that. usana is a mlm brand, office is at takashimaya. Member price for the set of multi vit/mineral is S$86 per set but the ebay seller (located in singapore and offer free local shipping) is selling it at $80. Maybe you can buy some chronium (from GNC or Nature Farm) to supplement your existing multi vit/mineral? Chronium helps to counteract with cravings.

I take the Usana ones that the clinic sells. They seem fine.

Does Chromium reduce cravings or physical hunger pains and nausea? (Although I wonder what the difference is!)

Re: Surviving in Singapore
I think Chronium balance blood sugar and reduce cravings.
if you are having hunger pains, then you will need to plan for cracker allowance so that you eat it before the hunger pangs kick in. There must be a routine set in for your body to get used to it.

Re: Surviving in Singapore
Are those vita-wheat one piece = 2 serves? I got some today, although I am still happy with the Jacobs
Also grabbed a pack of the JKhong Guan Wheat Crackers suggested by the clinic. |

Re: Surviving in Singapore
By the way, has anyone used the weightwatchers mince from Cold Storage while on the diet...it seems low fat and a hell of a lot cheaper (frozen & thawed) than the fresh steaks.
And the chicken mince for that matter? |

Re: Surviving in Singapore
I think it's still a lot fattier than unminced lean beef though. I have been known (when I could find the time) to buy beef from NTUC and mince it myself. Works out about half the price of WW mince at Cold Storage.
I'm in the lucky position of having just got back from Perth, so I brought 3kg of fillet steak back with me. |

Re: Surviving in Singapore
I bought JD I round steaks from NTUC during the whole programme and that what I still eat. I eat 'em as steaks and I grind 'em up for mince when I want mince. They are very, very lean. Only around 19.80/kg if I remember correctly. Same thing with the chicken mince, I use my chicken breasts and throw them in the grinder as well.

That's the beef I used to buy too. Couldn't remember the name. I used to go, buy the whole tray, mince and freeze.

Re: Surviving in Singapore
I bought vita-weet the other day, but to be honest I still prefer the Jacob's lo-salt hi-fibre instead. And the Jacobs come in huge tins that last 2 weeks (6 per day)
