Hi everyone, thanks for your thoughts, not sure how it will turn out but I guess it's all part of the journey.

For the first time in a long time I am thinking about my dreams and I'm not sure what they are anymore, but self discovery is an exciting time........

And just because I haven't been for a while I went shopping today.......... really I just went to exchange a dress and walked out with two more...........beautiful, beautiful dresses from Rockmans.....which makes them my most expensive purchases in a long time.......hmmmmmmm back to St Vincenzo's I go.

I was out in a community for the last week and I gotta tell you, boy I had fun, it was so much easier to do everything from camping to running around, everything except recover from my sunburn......ouch!!!

Well off to catch up with everyone............... take care and be gentle with yourselves.

Look at your go Caro! Sounds like you are on a self discovery journey. It is interesting to read how others are going once they are getting closer to their goal. And more shopping I can't wait to start shopping...I'm already itching to start now. Definitely need to take a trip to vinnie's...sad thing is our vinnie's doesn't stock the best quality clothes.

You take care of yourself...and like you said to us...be gentle with yourself

For such a long time the biggest issue in most of our lifes in our weight and when that is no longer an issue it becomes clearer what else we want out of life and what makes us happy at least that is what I have found.

I hope you figure out what your dreams are and that they all come true because you deserve to be happy!

You know I had a conversation with "the Watchers" at lunchtime, both of whom are on Cohens and the same issues are coming up there too, so we agree with Rora: once the weight issue is under control we can start to see what needs work in the other areas of life!

And then I guess you make a choice as hard as some of them may be. So at this point the Quest for Caro continues..........

And how is the 20kg club - Mum Chum's influence seems to be get em in and get em out!!!!!!

Hey all, lovely comment today from a woman in our building who is two weeks in - she told me that I am a great motivation to others.... and that people is what it's all about - helping others on their journey if you are able to..... that's the Shuki-star way! So my thought is - if someone inspires or motivates you - let them know, it might just make their day.

But things seem to be sorting themselves out, I am struggling with changing from dependence in my relationship (without realising that it may have been like this) to interdependence (the only way things can really work)! and while I am not sure how this process goes I am learning so much more about me and what I want for myself. Stay tuned........

I did go for a run with a friend yesterday afternoon and I must say I understand the not exercising while on the program, I was hungry when I got home and out of snacks!!! I was not expecting this so BE AWARE, exercise makes you hungry and I imagine your body will either - Snack out or hold onto the fat because you are starving it.... please correct this thinking if I am wrong anyone.....

So I guess now that I am back into the swing of things it is time to check out some of the new diaries and catch up on the old ones and find out how everyone else is doing. So see you all somewhere soon........ Caro

Hey there everyone, i have been reading a few diaries and I thought I would put my thoughts into words - they are exactly that though - my thoughts:

Sometimes deviations happen when you are caught out or unprepared, but I have read other diaries where people seem very blase about the fact that they are planning to deviate at future events. If you know an event is coming up where your programme food will not be readily available you have time to plan a strategy - contact the host or restaurant and ask the questions - can you do this to my requirements or can I bring my own! Sometimes this does not work out and you have to do the best you can, but at least try as hard as you can...............

I know that you have to be able to live in the real world but if you keep in mind that your initial programme is for a short time compared to the rest of your life - if you are 100% your body will do it's thing and take you where you need to be. Trust in yourself and the tools you have been given - this is not a diet, this is a lifestyle change, it takes guts and committment!

You deserve to be successful and that success comes with focus, committment and effort. Take care!

Hey there everyone

Today I am hungry - not eat my arm off hungry but hungry - so I guess it's time to shake the meals up again!

I have posted some new photos in my album and I am surprised, so if you are thinking that you are not changing shape take a photo and have a good hard look at it! This rather than a mirror........... when we look in the mirror we see what we are expecting not what really is!

Take care everyone and be very very nice to yourselves.

Wow, what a weekend, busy but slow if that makes sense - I have mixed up the meals to see if that gives me a bit of a shake-up but I haven't lost much more in the last few days - I will still make 10kgs in the challenge - spot on in fact - so the next few weeks will be interesting!

I have had quite a few people lately not recognise me which is a bit weird because I think I look pretty much the same - just a smaller version - I guess everyone was just used to the old me!

I have been feeling a little bit lethargic so I went through my menus for the past couple of weeks and realised that red meat has slipped out of my menu with all the travelling and being away from home! So now is the time to being it back in starting last night! And today I do feel a little better, so maybe I was just needing a little something extra - keep an eye on what you are eating ad what effect it is having on you! Pretty basic huh........

So.............. everyone is doing awesomely and I am continually inspired by people's honesty and their willingness to share their experiences......... best friends I never met!!!!! Take care and be nice to yourselves!

Oh and no shopping over the weekend - I know - startling but true - but I am going to the city next weekend!!! heeheehee!

NO SHOPPING?! Who are you and what have you done with Caro?! Ha ha.

Good to see you're still discovering things throughout the journey, Caro. You ARE an amazing inspiration, it's no wonder the lady at work wanted to make it known to you. You've done a brilliant job so far and I'm excited to see you zoom through the rest of your journey.

Also - amen to what you said about planned deviations!
