Hi Caro,

Oh NO !!!
Quote:
So I seem to have lost my mojo!!!
Girl, you didn't say much, yet you wrote a BOOK - right there !!!

I guess the question now is WHY? And there will be an answer. It might be obvious to you, or it might not. Whatever it is, it is worth addressing, for your future health, confidence, and knowledge.

I might be way off base, or not - I don't know, but I sure as hell am going to try to help.... So, I believe you need to FIND that "Why", so that you might address it. What can it be? (Of course, it might be something you choose to keep to yourself - and that is valid too).

Just in case it is a MIXTURE of things, I wanted to outline a number of "showstoppers" that seem to pop up for many - you might relate to some, or there might be something else altogether.

Common things:-
1. Friends/family saying "You look GREAT just as you are" (and with you WHERE you are, I'd almost bet you have been receiving lots of THAT!) Perhaps you AGREE (why not?) and feel you are "where you want to be"...

2. Short of time (changes in your life suddenly having "Cohens" getting in the way of what you WANT to do, time-wise).

3. Feeling great, and ITCHING to get back into exercise - to "feel good" again..... And that is NOT so far away for you, Caro - hang on just that little bit longer.

4. The new "Cohens weight calculator" seems to have had an effect on many - with you being younger, it may well have INCREASED your journey, just when you thought you were close !! In the end, your BODY will tell you when "refeed is right", NOT the scales !!

5. Maybe it is time to reread YOUR Diary - to relive all of those early emotions you felt, and the hopes you had, when you were stepping out on faith. How many of those thoughts have you "put to bed", and how many others remain?

Sweetie, I'm sure there IS an answer out there somewhere for you. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to actively SEARCH for the reason why the wheels seem to be in danger of falling off, and to actively address the problem.

I wish you a fruitful search, Caro - and feel free to share/question/rant on here as required.... Go "cathartic"

Hugs,

Koh

Thanks Koh! Think its 3,4 and 5! With a bit of "Who the hell am I, and what do I want?" thrown in!

All will be good I am sure!

Ahhhhhhh my best friend and the scavenger Rexie! Thanks for the mojo, I find alot of things in the fridge - car keys, cornflakes and once my mobile phone...............and the phone call...... you have no idea how many things can be worked out when I talk to you........... it's so wonderful to have you on my side!

And as I get my head around the emotional luggage I am thinking - you can't make omlette without breaking eggs........... it is time to knock everyone else off and put myself up on that pedestal and concentrate on the things that I can control - which is the way I think and act! Because that's all anyone can do.....................

Onwards and downwards everyone............. give yourselves a great big hug - you deserve it!!!!

Each to their own pedestal McSweetie!

So I think that I have the mojo back ,time to really concentrate on me and how this outside form is going and matching it to the inside, as I have advocated to others professional help is being sought for another perspective and maybe some strategies.

I am listening very carefully to my body at the moment and what it is telling me and I have noticed a few things that I will be monitoring closely:

my back hurts - a can't get comfortable kind of feeling
my weight is changing slowly but my shape is still changing
I am hungry - an I AM REALLY HUNGRY feeling
I am a bit lethargic, but not so much that life stops

So according to my research (and my big sis) I am keeping watch for the next week or so and thinking about having refeed on hand in the very near future. I am 6kg away from my goal range so I guess the quest has entered the next stage!

I have missed everyone's journey's in the last little while (still reading just not posting as often) so I am looking forward to catching up with everyone!

Take care of yourselves and remember - you matter most!

ooooh and I have rediscovered red meat - it kind of dropped out of my menu for convenience sake a while ago and now it's back!!!! Keep an eye on that - it is important to keep the meals interesting!

Hi Caro,

Hehe, I had a giggle tonight - checked out your photos again (and caught MY comment to you....).

Seems I was one also saying "You look great as you are"... just like point #1 in my last post !! Mmm, well, at least I'm consistent ....
