Hi Andy, great to here those scales are on the move again. Wow, all those fresh veggies and eggs - that must help the weight loss as we all know fresh is best! Yr really moving with this program pretty fast so i dont expect you will have many slow weeks, just keep doing it like it is and any excess will be history! P

Hi Andy46,

Despite the recent slowdown, you are smokin', Andy.

I'm a bit intrigued about these zucchini's though. Are you going to SAVE money by not having to purchase them? Or are you going to SELL them to the local "gilt-edged" store? Or are you going to keep BUYING them from the local store just to keep them around?

Whatever, it sounds like a good problem to have. Keep on smokin' mate,

Koh

The poor old shop - I going to eat my own zucchinis and give the rest away to the oldies in town. I wouldn't sell them - the shop has to make a living and we don't have a choice - I try and buy at the shop but its hard - I go to Charleville at least once a week work wise so do stop there as w ell - but not much different down there now as Food For Less (Woolworths) shut down so only have the IGA in Charleville and no comp re prices, quality or variety anymore.

I hope the weight keeps going down - it better - or there will be trouble in the camp - you will all see the dust storm down your way if it doesn't.

Andy

Yum Andy! all those homegrown vegies and eggs, it sounds so great, I bet they taste a million times better than what we get here in the city. There's a little community garden plot at the end of my street and I've been thinking about joining in so I can grow some vegies of my own...you've made me even more tempted now.

Hope the scales are being obliging today

That's the doubting Thomas side of me - I know it will - actually today I know it has but I'm not weighing as I don't want to weigh until next week again as I do think everyones weight would go up and down all week until it sorts itself out - thanks for keeping me on the ball - also for the first time my spelling checker has started working - I changed the color in a chart on another post re weight of water and bingo it stated to highlight the miss spellt words with a red underline -and then a right click makes the new words come up - maybe my computer is having a brain update - thats good. We have just had a sudden downpour of rain which is good, better and great.

thanks for your kind words as well Pandora - you do pretty well yourself with your support and commitment to others - thus the little box on the top !!!!!!

thanks

Andy

A long day today - have been to Roma 300 ks to the east and their zucchini's are $8.00 a kg - then on the way home I hit a big eagle as I drove into the western sun. It smashed my windscreen and took a piece of equipment off the top of my work car - so tomorrow I will be getting a new windscreen and trying to fix the top of my work car as I need it for a big trip on Sunday Monday Tuesday and Wednesday and all bits have to be working. I went back but could not find the eagle so he must have kept flying - he was eating dead roo on the road and they get too heavy to fly away and as our work cars have lots of gear on the roof they get caught up in it - especially at 110 kmh's p/h.

Anyway was able to take my fruit lunch and biscuits in the fridge and sat and had lunch with an old uncle in Roma who I haven't seen for a while and we had a good mag about old times in the bush many years ago. I also was able to get some fresh fish - Tuna - and it was on special for 9.99 so was so much better tonight for tea then that horrible stuff in tins. I also got snapper which was on special as well for 9.99 so got a fair bit and have just spent an hour cutting it down to size and freezing it.

I also can feel that the weight has slipped off as my belt is in the last hole and getting looser. Will weigh on Monday as I come back through town - maybe.

Andy

Hey Andy! Hope the eagle is ok (and you also, ofcourse!!)! Those are pretty amayzing prices for fish considering how far they have to travel!! Actually, when I think about it, some of the best oysters I have ever had were in Mt Isa - very weird. Hope you stocked up on some cheap zuccs as well! Congrats on your ever looser belt!

Yea i went back but he sort of rolled along the top after taking a bit off the top and he was gone by the time I turned around - they are a big tough bird - I have lived in the bush all my life apart from 6 months in Brisbane and of course boarding school @ Toowomba so love my nature and wildlife very much.

The fish in Roma was at Woolworth's and she said it was a special because they had received a double order - but it is very fresh and the tuna is great. No I didn't get the zucchini's - got a mushroom kit instead to grow my own mushrooms !!!!! My zucchini's will be on very soon as we have had 56 mils of rain and things are doubling in size here by the day - my veggies aren't on Cohen's thats for sure.

You have a good weekend - I'm working all weekend on the highway. Better than the office i must admit.

Andy

I love them (mushroom kits) - they are a bit hard to get out here - but when I am down in the big smoke I usually get one - as with anything you grow yourself - it always tastes better and its good watching them grow - my kids used to eat them raw when they were little straight out of the top of the box. They grew to big and healthy but don't think they eat them much now - wouldn't be cool - they will come around as they get older and realize the need for good food.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend,

Andy

Hi Andy,

Sounds like you have your work cut out for you this week and repairs to your vehicle into the bargain. I'm interested in how you got your spell check to work. I have such trouble at times and please forgive my mistakes when you see them. Sometimes I delete and rewrite and delete then try to think of other words that would fit beause I really don't like seeing mistakes but then I do try to get it right.

You just reminded me about mushroom kits, I haven't seen any around lately. I should investigate further and see, maybe I could order one. Your belt is on the last hole mmmm sounds like shopping will be on the agenda for the coming week as well.

Good luck on Monday with the scales. We all know that they will iluminate great figures though so let us know.

Have a good one.

Melissa

Just dropped back to get my hard dry biscuits - will post the spell check link add on for Internet Explorer 7 - that's your browser and you download and update etc. your windows Microsoft - you then hover over your mistakes which are highlighted and underlined in red right click and the new correctly spelt word is at the top of the list.

http://www.windowsmarketplace.com/ca...spx?bcatid=834

Then download the IE7Pro and install. (its free and will add on to your Browser) some more tec savey people may help.

I will get a new belt but all my work cloths come from a tailor in Brisbane and I still have a fair way to go so will get the old leather punch out for my pants belt and I have dug up an old utility belt for all the things that I carry when on the road.

Those numbers on Monday will be good but won't have scales with me I am off to Cunnamulla tomorrow then take a wide load from the NSW border at Barringun to Blackwater in Central Qld via Barcaldine so won't be home until Wednesday night. I might sneak a day and have a look in the morning before I head south to see the Cunnamulla Fella though - I am extremely confident as today I have been hitching me pants every step I take - more so than last week !!!!!!!!!!!! My wife is worried they will come off - but I can grab quick in public !!!!!! seriously I am in trousers that are tailor made as well so can't go to early in them either - boss get worried about the expense - alls good though life is full on - and I am on top of the world at the moment.

must fly

Andy

Haha, you wouldn't want to have to quickly jump up and run after something, that might be a funny sight, you trying to hitch up your pants whilst in flight Fabulous news, though.

Well its a good day - scales have moved again - I didn't really doubt that they wouldn't but I'm at 120.3 and that's good - I have new scales as well so there may be a slight change or readjustment with the new to the old. I am heading into a weight that I have not been for some years now and I feel so good that I am bursting to go.

Anyway all is good and I'm on the move today with a busy few days on the road - no office work - but a bit of driving and I love it. Hope everyone else has a great week and I know you will as you are all so good at what you do best. I have also purchased a new camera this week and its a 12 mega pixels and takes the best photos - a Cannon G9 - not being a photographer I was a bit worried about how to use it - but have found its very easy to use and has very fine detail in the photos. My old camera was only 3 mega pixels so I can see the difference. So will come in handy when I get down to the double digits for Christmas.
I have a unit at Caloundra for three weeks over Christmas so just can't wait. My daughter is coming home after almost 4 years tripping the world so I have decided to have three weeks at the coast to acclimatize her back to the Australian heat and way of life (also her grand parents live down that way)
Its a beautiful day here in Western Qld (made better by my change in weight of course) and the birds are going nuts outside - must ten different sorts all trying to sing at once - and my garden looks so good this morning. I have just made a chilli spray for my wife to use - she is tiny game hunter - looking for the little sap and leaf eaters on the vegies and chilli and onion and garlic mixed up - blended - and then strained keeps leaf eaters at bay. I don't like the chemicals and I have two bee hives as well and I am real careful about my bees and I don't want to kill them or contaminate the honey that I get which will be next weekends job. w
Every one have a great week and stick at it - stay focused and your dreams will become a reality sooner than later.

Andy

Just so you all know I have just taken to my belt with a leather punch - soon will need to cut it off at the end so it doesn't drag on the ground - but will hold those pants up and hopefully not get down round my ankles if I run after someone Magenta.
How did you go Melissa with that add on ? As long as you are using Microsoft Windows IE as your browser it should be OK and work for you.

Keep your goals on the go and enjoy life - its a STD that has %100 mortality. !!!!!!!!

Good Morning Andy
And CONGRATULATIONS on another week of good weight loss (after a slow few days, always happens if we are patient!)!

Utterly tremendously fabulous to hear you say you are flying and on top of the world, now that is the spirit that changes lives!

And i am so glad to hear you attacked that belt of yours as we cant have your trousers falling off you can we!! I bet you can hardly wait to see yr daughter when she gets home from her - i can hardly believe you said - 4 years trip round the world (she likes flying high too just like you!). How old is she? Wow, what a surprise she will get with her new slimmer dad and his vibrant healthy outlook on life. I dont know Caloundra but i do know with your tone on here, it will be a fabulous xmas and you and the missus get to enjoy looking forward to it from now till then! You deserve it!

Oh and Melissa, i too want to get one of those mushroom farms. I looked at one in Big W a few weeks ago after being given a mushroom to try by a 7 yr old who is growing her own! It was the most perfect mushroom i have ever seen or tasted! Andy prompted me to go shopping tomorrow too! Do you have Big W?

By Andy, have a great week, Pandora
