Still going well, I see. Great work Jenny!

I also found the 3 slices of bread a bit much. I did try it one day, had toast with bananan on it. Was pretty yum!

Hope you have a great day today!

My first banana did the same thing to me, Jenny. It's fine now though, I'm able to have my banana and pear yogurt - yum! - without any issues. I think our bodies react to new foods, and that's why it's good to have them introduced slowly after being without them for so long. That way we can monitor the effects more closely.
You're going great guns! Keep up the good work!

Default Day 11 of 16

STARTING WEIGHT 75.9KG
TODAYS WEIGHT 74.5KG
DIFFERENCE FROM YESTERDAY -100G
OVERALL -1.4KG

Add "new" protein
Same old vege weights
2 "bad" fruits
3 Slices bread

Yesterday I suffered with tummy pains on and off most of the day. Was not happy Jen After chatting with clients realised that it was more than likely the banana as I chose a lady finger banana as they are "small" . One client in particular suffered similar complaints to myself, but could eat a cavendish banana no problems. I really did not enjoy the taste of the lady finger so I will go in search of some ripe cavendish bananas today and only eat 3/4 of one as they are larger.

Today I had the option of adding milk but have opted out of it today and am adding it to tomorrow mornings coffee. It's my RDO tomorrow so if any ill effects I won't be inflicting it on anyone else!!!!!!

Still only having 2 slices bread for a sandwich at lunch haven't tried the extra slice yet as I do enjoy my crackers. I think I might try the extra piece today though, maybe with a banana. Also get to add a new protein today and am going to have some salmon with my steak tonight...should be good!!!!!

I am thouroughly enjoying refeed and the new foods. I am not hungry anymore which is great and the portions are definately filling me up....the next few days are going to be a struggle to get it all in.

Thanks for stopping by Sandie, you must be feeling fabulous as well. Good for you. Keep up the good work.

Shanara & Mette....you guys are great thanks for the support you are both a huge inspiration.

Have a great day everyone.

Hey Jen,
Thought I'd stop by to see how u r going. Going pretty good by the sounds of it. Lady finger bananas do have an effect if they are not just ripe. Hope that was the problem anyway. Wow just hearing of the foods you are having now is inspiration to get there. Have a great RDO and I'll try to drop in more regularly.

Michele

Talking Hello!

Just wanted to stop by and see how you are doing! You were one of the first people to welcome me here 5 months ago and I want to say thanks!

Looks like you are doing well. I will reveiw your refeed diary to see what is in store for me as that is coming up soon!

I don't think I can eat bananas...any kind gives me gas. I read somewhere that they can do that just like broccoli and onion. But they sure are yummy.

I enjoy my crackers, too, so don't really look forward to bread. I do look forward to more protein and more fruit!!

Hope you stick around to answer questions after you are finished getting beautiful! Take care,

Ms. Jiggles

Default Day 12 of 16

STARTING WEIGHT 75.9KG
TODAYS WEIGHT 74.6KG
DIFFERENCE FROM YESTERDAY +100G
OVERALL -1.3KG

Same protein 'old & new'
Increase 'old' vege weights
2 'bad' fruits
3 slices bread
Add milk
Add carbs

Morning all Been out for my morning walk/jog....have been trying some intermitant training where you combine walking with a short run in bursts to up the heart rate.

Have decided to have a bread free day today. I noticed yesterday that even though the tummy pain had gone and I did have another cavendish banana...much yummier and no ill effects, that I was extremely tired and bloated. I had my 3 allocated slices and I think I may be suffering with a gluten build up. Will test my theory and while it is only a mild symptom I am glad bread doesn't really do it for me anymore

Will also give the milk a try today. I am very happy with the banana situation as I did enjoy my toast with mashed banana yesterday arvo ( thanks for the idea Vee) I remember thinking that mashing a banana on toast was so gross when I was a teenager as my sister absolutely loved it she will laugh when I tell her it's my latest yummy food discovery.

Will be adding rice as my carbs today to my dinner, I will whip up some sort of creation with my protein & vege etc.

Today is going to be a great day. I am going to have my hair cut a lot shorter. About a week ago I had one of my seniors chemically straighten my hair. I have had thick frizzy curly hair all my life and as a hairdresser I found it quite restrictive and then I was hiding my very fat face behind it all for the last 8yrs or so.

So now I have straight hair it is coming off Am so excited to have a "STYLE" I will be posting some pics at the end of the week post refeed.

Have a great day everyone

Hi jenny

I'm looking forward to seeing your new slim face surrounded my new short straight hair. It's interesting that quite a few Cohenites choose to get their hair cut once they get to goal. I wonder if we were trying to hide the fact that we were fat behind our hair!

Not long till maintenance now...and that special dinner out. I remember well the first meal I had at a restaurant after reaching maintenance, just in time for my fourth wedding anniversary, and yes I did have dessert.

x

hey Jenny!
Hope you are having a great day off, getting your great haircut!!
I wrote a post earlier and lost it! Such is life on the internet!
Not much longer to go on refeed.
You seem to be sailing through it all with no problems.
I'm sure all the extra food is also helping with the energy levels, especially with your renewed participation in basketball!

Keep on going well!

Vee

Hey Jenny - fascinating to read about your refeed journey - sounds like its treating you ok but interesting to hear about the effects some foods are having on you. Also look forward to seeing the photos with your new hairdo - I'm sure they'll be stunning.

Cheers - Kay.

Morning all, Love, love, love my new haircut!!! Can't wait to post pics!!!!

I suffered in the flatulence department after the milk yesterday but will try it again another day. It was good to have a bread free day, I didn't feel quite so full and bloated. I will go back to bread today and see how I feel throughout the day and tomorrow.

Last night I stirfried my chicken, veges and rice and added my chopped apple I have been stirfrying with balsamic a lot and it was yummy!!! I used a brown rice as I always liked it pre cohens. Kinda like a fried rice just not so much rice!!!!!

Have a great day

Come on Jen where are the photos - I will be searching (No stalking) FB and this forum looking for them. Send me one via mobile.....

You know when I was young I always wanted to be a hairdressor just so I could find out how to get rid of my curly frizzy hair (no hair straighteners in those days) - You have now lived that dream for me. In my old age (Ha Ha) I have finally accepted my curly hair and don't fight it anymore. Only people with curly frizzy hair know how we feel.

Come on now (aren't I your favourite aunty.....) send me a photo.....

Love Aunty Rosemary

Oh by the way - great job on refeed.
