Hi Laura and Emjay

Just wanted to add, i have done Cohens before and i just read how you are worried you had such a big loss and that will be all you lose. i can tell you i spent 3 months worrying about the same thing last time i did this and there was only ever one or two times that the scales did not move, i just could not believe it that every sunday when i stood on the scales it went down every time, it was amazing, but i wasted so much time worrying about it.

do not worry it will work, we just have to stick with it and every one will get there.

Annie

Hi Jlou and AnnieM,

I probably should have written "preventative" as such! It is the same treatment, just the intent is different. If you have botox before the lines get to deep, it can help stop them getting any deeper as you're not moving that area of your face as much. It also gives the skin a chance to recover naturally.

I'll let you know how I go but first I have 8kg to lose!

Cheers,
miss_nat

Hi Laura and Emjay, that is fine, i understand how it feels to be doing it for the first time and worrying, dont worry i am stil like it the second time, but i remember that wonderful feeling of watching the scales go down, and you both will too, how exciting....

Well i am on day 2 and i have just been to the dentist, and half my mouth is totally numb so i am trying to drink a pepsi max not a good feeling and quite funny to try and do.

I will be able to put on my sheets for today 100%, that is always a good feeling. Miss Nat that sounds good, yes 8kg to lose Good luck for us all to make it to our goals, no matter what they are.

Red face Re: 10kgs in 6 weeks - start 1 Feb end 15 March

Hi everyone

I am also new. Did Cohens previously but never made it to refeed due to some work-related functions and an over all non-committment.
This time I am determined to get there.

I started on Monday - on my old program and had my weigh in yesterday when I met my consultant (she really isn't super motivating!) and have switched to my new program. I felt so sick last night - headache and queezy but a lot better today. Must be the SUPER detox!

I am hopefully back in the zone but need to keep on track and motivated. This challenge has come at the prefect time. Hope I am not too late to join??

My starting weight is 76.9kgs

Are we going to weigh and report feedback every week or just at the end of the challenge??

Good luck to everyone. We are all there for you - remember that. I know I need to - especially when i feel all 'alone' and 'deprived' I need to remember that this is a Life Style change and there are others out there too who care enough about themselves to make the same change too.
Hang in there!!!!

Cheers
Jade

Hi everyone

Please use this thread to post generally, if you need motivation etc - if we all subscribe to it we can check in and help others who need a boost.

And feel free to report your losses whenever you want to. I weigh myself frequently - others wait a week or the month - so whatever works for you.

I have been sticking to it very strictly (I lapsed on water last month) and have got through 2L by lunchtime today. I've also lost 600g since Monday so happy about that!!!

Talking Re: 10kgs in 6 weeks - start 1 Feb end 15 March

Start weight: 82.1kg *made a typo in my original post... it was 82.1 NOT 81.2 sorry!*
Week 1: 79.5kg (2.6kg)
Goal: 70kg
Reward: fitting into my size 13 jeans again

Just a side note... I restarted my plan this week after 2 months off, which is why I've had a big drop this time.

Hi all

Well....the scales read differently from my early morning's first weigh-in (on old cranky bathroolm scale) to mid-morning weigh. I'll take it as the mid-morning weigh as it corresponds to my first weigh-in time of day for the challenge!

Start weight = 76.9
Present weight = 74.1.
Total loss = 2.8kg

I am happy with that - I think! The week didn't take too long. So another 5 weeks should just slip by quickly, right?

Well done ALL of you who have already posted. You ALL did well. A loss is a loss is a loss!!!!

Cheers
Jade
