Hi Cindy,

Welcome and thanks for the post in my diary.

I take Omega 3 each day and I also take Zinc on top of my two multis. But I have a lot to loose so I am hoping it will help with my skin. I eat a lost of Tuna but as we are not allowed Salmon I take the Omegas to be safe.
I also love blended mango and yoghurt for bfast, I generally have egg but the mango and yoghurt is a nice change.
A nice dessert I do is 1/2 my mango allowance, diet sprite, a squeeze of lemon and a few mint leave in the freezer for a few hours then mix it up like a slushy - it is so yummy.
I also love mango chicken salad with a little chilli, fresh corriander, sprint onions, mint leaves and lemon juice.

As Hexi said the feta and cauliflower soup is too die for. It is the best weekly treat ever. dip your crackers in and you will be in heaven.

Take care Cindy and enjoy the ride. Your mood will go up and down but the scales will only go down.

Cheers
Daisy.

Hey Skinny Me,

I've been reading your diary as we started a day apart, it can be difficult at times huh? But all the support you get here is wonderful! I'd be struggling without it!
My book says you can take 1 Evening Primrose or Omega 3 each day with your multi, so I have been.
I'm really looking forward to my 1 month result as I'm sure you are! I haven't measured myself since the end of week 1, I may use the scales every morning, but I'll hang out for the measurements each week, gotta have some mystery hey?

Anyway, keep up the great work

Sharlene

WEEK 2 DAY 3

A little hungry today but not too bad. Happy with my weight loss so far and looking forward to more more more.

Daisy and Shar...Thanks for your response. I think I am going to start taking the Omega 3. I have seen that some of the people take it and also that they have it in there plan...don't know why they don't put it in the US plan. I have also heard that it helps with weight loss. Another benefit. It helps to know that others are on it too.

Thanks again,

Cindy

Hi Cindy

You are doing really well.

They say salt helps with the dizziness - make sure you have some with your meals.

Cheers

Hey Cindy

It's great to read your diary and see how well you are coping in these early days.

I just wanted to comment on your weight loss. 2kg is an excellent result. Something to remember if you are comparing your loss to others is the difference in starting weights. Your loss is about 2.5% of your starting weight, that's a great result!

Thanks Irene and AHL for the support. That really helped to think of it in a % of weight loss. I figured that with my now 7.7 pd (3.5 kg) weigh loss I have lost 17% of the weight I want to lose. That is so exciting...I can hardly believe it.

YEAH ME.

Cindy

WEEK 2 DAY 5

So I am a confirmed daily weigher. I just can't help myself and I will be fine if there is no weight loss on a day...which happened 2 days ago. Not sure how well I will do if there is a gain...I have read that it does happens sometimes...but lets hope not.

So this weekend is my 45th Birthday. Some of my friends are taking me for a night at the spa Wed. I'm so excited. First an herbal bath, then a salt scrub then a massage. Yeah!

Hope you are all fine.

Cindy

Hey Skinny, just checking in on you - only to discover I will now be hideously jealous all Wednesday!!! Make sure you give us a blow by blow of your spa trip so we can live vicariously through your devine experience!!!

I had a facial the other day, and combined with having been on the program the overall feeling is awesome. Enjoy!

Hey Skinny
Happy Birthday and in answer to your fish oil caps they make me burp fish and that is just flat nasty. Thats why I went to the others. I don't know about them helping lose I just was told it would help with the hair loss. Since we don't get enough fat in our diets is why the hair will come out for some.

Have fun at the spa. I plan on the same thing while at Disney in Feb. I hope I can get in.

You can also take another vitamin when you feel weak or dizzy the consultants say...and do it for at least a week...also salt your food a bit...great progress...mangos are my favorite now after being on this plan

Week 2 Day 7

All is going well here. Happy to start my 3rd week tomorrow and to weigh in again (not that its a new thing since I have been weighing in everyday). But excited to see my 2 week total.

I love Cohen's.

Enjoy your day.

Cindy

Week 3 Day 1

Total weight loss for 2 weeks was 9.5 lbs. (4.3kg). Thats 21% of the weight I want to lose. I am pretty happy with the results so far. I'm excited to be a 70"s girl.

Spa day got changed to Sunday because one of the gals taking me got the flu. It's going around pretty bad here. Really looking forward to Sunday now.

Thanks everyone for your birthday wishes and for saying I look young. If you saw some of the wrinkles in person you probably wouldn't think so.

Cindy
