Day 3 100% deviation free! Now down 1kg since Saturday so back at my low end cohen goal of 52kg and 20.6 on the BMI!

Reason i mention this is, i went from 50kg to 53kg in 9 days with a few meals out , even with lots of healthy choices! BUT since this program is magic, and some of that is just fluid retention its like

UP 3kg in 9 days
now DOWN 1kg in 3 days (back on 100% strict)

so looking good to take OFF the gain just as quick ! Exciting news for all of us, AFTER refeed we are ALWAYS IN CHARGE! Woohoo

Keep shining on team! have a fantastic, wonderful Tuesday and MAKE TODAY COUNT!

3 Days of 100% deviation free for me as well.

No weight loss today and will be on TOM in the next couple of days so don't expect much loss in the weight department this week...which is okay since I know the drill.

Everyone is doing so well...Great Job Team.

Sorry BFG for talking about the cake...It's torture.

One day down for me too.

Feeling good, not expecting to lose until I get these DF days adding up! Fridge is still on the blink,
buying daily which means double checking I've got the right foods for me.

Its been good to be in this I'm double checking myself too.

Hi guys, i just wanted to say well done to all of you that have committed to this challenge.

I would join you all but I can honestly say i havent deviated at all since I started which was 22 days ago. The great thing is I have found it really easy and ive only craved that "little piece" of chocolate once but didnt give in

Now that ive blown my own trumpet (haha) im hoping I can keep this up for the remainder of the program

Keep up the great work and get those mango's dancin!!

Katie

Hey Katieb...I think you can still be in the challenge...I have been deviation free as well since I started on Jan 3rd...but it is nice to be here to keep you on the straight and narrow in case you feel the desire to deviate.

WELL DONE EVERYONE, 3 Days down and all is well....

Welcome to Shrinking Moi and Katieb.. I will add you to the list and start you from the start seeing neither of you have deviated..

It was tough but I DID it, I didn't have any biscuits.. then today one of the girls brought in a massive cake she just baked and plonked it down in front of us at morning tea! I thought about a slice for a second and then I thought of the forum and having to explain a deviation so I passed on that too.. surprisingly none of the girls had any, (however it was nearly all gone by lunch time)... It also helped that one of the other girls is doing Sure Slim so neither of us were going to weaken... hehe.. Cohens vs Sure Slim...

I slept in this morning so I never had time to weigh myself but I should post a loss tomorrow..

It is good to have you advising us Pandora.. Yep we will always have to be sensible, I can see how people relax a little after losing then have an uphill battle to get it off again. Good on you for enjoying life but being sensible at the same time..

WAHOOOOOoooo Butterfly Girl is a 70's CHICK.. Way to go BFG..

Magenta I reckon I am suffering from the heat too.. Normally I would have lost about 2-3 kilos by now but the last weigh in it was only 1 kilo.. 15 days of over 35 degrees was really starting to take its toll on everyone.. very lethargic and had enough.. I was even drinking more than I would have normally..

Hang in there Mate it will happen.. Having said I havent lost much weight, one of the girls at work said my pants were looking baggy so that was nice...

Thank you Jeannie!
God, it's a great feeling!! But a BIG to you for resisting the morning tea cake! That's awesome you! BTW - what are the Sure Slim girl's results like?

It's so cold, wet and miserable in Johannesburg at the moment. It's been 4 solid days and nights of icy rain and misery. The only way I can get the water down at the moment is to drink it hot and pretend it's coffee! Thinking of you all sweating it out though. Thanks so much for all the support!

Hope that i am note too late to join in.
I have actually been deviation free since 15/3 (cross my heart) but was unable to post due to problem with computer.
After having a really hard time of it since the new year i recently came back to the forum to be re-inspired & i can say that it has been just what I needed. When I read this challenge, I got really excited seemed to be what I was looking for.
Just over half way to my goal weght & found it so easy the first time round when I went 6 weeks without a single deviation.
Found it so difficult to get back to that mindset since then but this challenge seems to be what I needed.
Feeling so much better again.
Thanx for this great idea. btw starting weight is 70 for 15/3 (thought I should add that in).
Looking forward to earning some mangoes - it is my very favourite food after all!

Cheers Frannie

What happens when we do deviate? Do we start the countdown again or do we just not get a banana, and wait until the end of the next 10 day period to be deviation free to get the banana?

Reason... had a 3rd birthday get-together with family and for the first time in "years" I was able to join in without my children needing my constant attention (and not breastfeeding) and was able to have a glass of champagne. The glass got topped up again and again!!! The third time I didn't know until we were leaving and it was pointed out that I still had a full glass to drink (I only had x3 glasses). I could have said no but it's been a few years since I've been able to actually relax and enjoy family's company. It was nice champagne too, didn't give me a headache, which wine starts to do after awhile!

I'm sorry ladies! I start again tomorrow!

Magenta the groovy banana is a once off bonus if we get through Easter without deviating.. that will be on top of a dancing mango..

If you deviate, yep sorry but you have to start again.. I can see it getting complicated with so many start times, we will have to come up with a solution but for now you will start again tomorrow.. Sorry.. Hey I am happy that you had a good time though..

Welcome Frannie, ohh to be so close to goal, yet seem so far.. You will breeze it in, now that you are here.. I will add you to the list..

Girls tomorrow will be day 5 and we will be half way there to our Dancing Mango!

BFG the girl on Sure Slim only had about 10 kilos to lose but has been away on holiday, I think she is struggling a bit because they can't have snacks.. they can have bread and nuts though.. she looks fantastic anyway.. she may not have even had 10 kilos, I just know it wasn't much..

Hey do you know Stargazer in Johanasburg? She is gorgeous and an ex Cohenite.. She is on holidays at the moment so I bet she is happy she is missing all that wet weather..

another deviation free day for Tuesday.

on monday I was 2 hours off lunch and instead of having either fruit or crispbread I decided to have some sugarfree gum.
well, that was a big mistake, I think it actually increased my hunger even more, so after an hour I ended up having my apple and 2 crispbread while vaccuming someone's house.

then yesterday my timing was shocking

BF: 06.30am
apple: 2.30pm (not cos I was hungry either)
L: 4:00pm (9.5 hours since BF)
D: 9:00pm (5 hours)
bedtime: 11:30pm (2.5 hours after dinner)

Hi guys!
Well 5 deviation free days for me!!
Well done to all you others who have managed to achieve it as well.
As for those that did deviate, remember to be kind to yourself. It's not the end of the world, it's just a little setback. The thing that matters is that you forgive yourself and get right back on track! You know you can do it because you have done it before, and you are worth it!
I hope the south has some respite from that heat wave soon Jeannie! Well done for resisting that cake!! That was an awesome effort and a fantastic achievement!!
