Just wait till the end of TOM. Your stomach will shrink even more.

You're doing great.

Congrats

just a word of caution when measuring- i found that measuring at a particular spot ( eg belly button) was confusing as i seemed to be sagging- i found measuring at the same height from the ground was more meaningful
cheers

Thanks Hopingtobeslim for stopping by and for your kind words and thanks mcpsych for the measurement advice, might try that one out!

Tonight marks the end of my second week and I am a bit proud of myself, I have to say, for not giving into ANY temptations or old bad habits! And there has been lots of opportunity to do so! phewwwww........

So I am a bit excited to go to the clinic tomorrow and step onto their scales to see how I have done. My work clothes definately are feeling different this morning and I am looking forward to moving my ticker for the first time! I am going to do ASAP after my appointment tomorrow.

I stood in the kitchen for ages yesterday weighing, labelling and bagging chicken and meat. I am feeling organised. The past couple of days I have noticed that I am not constantly thinking I am hungry. (even though I am right now... might eat my kiwifruit! LOL!) I think it is starting to really 'click' into place for me - regular meals, my body knows what it is going to get and when. All good, I think!

Well off to go and read some diaries to inspire me, and you know it really really does keep me motivated. I wonder if I would have been able to stick at it this long if it wasn't for this forum? I still have not shared what I am doing with anyone except for you guys on here. Maybe when the weight loss is really swinging into gear and people start asking questions, I will then. I would rather have people noticing and asking me when I am getting obvious results rather than sprouting off what I am doing "this time" and feel like everyone is watching...waiting... aha hahah!

Till tomorrow...... CYA!

Good Luck at your weigh in, Kat! It is sooo fun moving your ticker, haha.

Doesn't feel great to be organised with your food?! It makes everything so much easier too. I have to stock up on some more gladbags... *sigh

Good luck with your weigh in today! I betcha it's awesome!!! Nice work on so long with no deviations! It's so hard in todays social environment so well done. I can't wait to see your ticker move!

Actually.. I better try to figure out how to move it myself (in the hope I have lost weight for my weigh in on Thurs).

Keep up the great work!!

** THANK YOU** Kate, Knickerless, Missy & BD for dropping and and for your well wishes! I am really looking forward to getting weighed today! (Thats a first! Normally dread the scales!)

I know I have lost some, don't know how much as I have not been on the scales for a while, I think last week I peeked and it was about 2.5 - 3kgs........ wait and see!

This morning something really cool happened. NEAR PANTS INCIDENT! LOL! They are not hanging right down my knees, but still hanging a bit low! I was getting stuff out of the back of my car and when I stood up I had to pull them up quick before some workers in the car park saw me undies!! hahaha! (poor fellas!) Good old work pants might last me another week - if they are lucky! hehehe

From what I have read, this week could see the end of such dramatic losses and from week 3 on it slows and steady's its pace? Thats ok I guess. Just have to see how it all works out for me!

Next time you see my ticker, it will be moved!!! YAY!

Ha ha Kat - get used to the pants incidents - they are just a part of the process

I've been having issues with my clothes since about week 2; I've become a regular source of entertainment for those around me... One of the ladies at my office ripped her pants yesterday and came to share the hillarity with me, and I welcomed her to my pants club... she pointed out that our issues stem from opposite reasons (i'm losing, but she's putting on - hence she ripped the pants). I just look at it from the entertainment value.

Looking forward to seeing your ticker move!

PS - hope you had nice knickers on for those car park fellas!!

Aww, it's AMAZING what a safety pin and/or belt can do But, just "get used to it" TII - 'cos it's going to be happening, ongoing, until you reach goal. (Don't be too slow to check your wardrobe - Kgs/cms move QUICK on Cohens !!)

Hi TII,

Umm, I think you sound a little excited Great start there - and especially this :-

I "assume" these are a smaller size..... so HUGE cms lost there in just 2 weeks. How good can it get?

RE "Under 80Kgs in four weeks" - hey, it's line ball - you might, you might not - just give it your best shot by staying true to Plan, drink that water, and get some early nights.

FYI, Week 3 is a notorious "low" week, so don't be too surprised if that happens. After that, you'll likely be feeling SO good, the actual Kgs won't be an issue anyway (just keep on checking that wardrobe though, as you wouldn't want to miss "old favourites" eh?)

How fantastic, all that weight loss and cms gone in only 2 weeks!!! You must be stoked!

That is so inspiring... you will be at your goal in no time (even if the weightloss slows like Koh has said).

This makes me wish for the end of Week 2 to come for me, so I can see how much I have lost...

Enjoy the rest of the week and reward yourself...buy a book, go and see a movie or something...

I have my week 4 blood tests and weigh in on the 2nd November so to hit it by then would be amazing...not going to get my hopes up, just take it as it comes. (Don't want to set myself up for disaapointment. In the past disappointment always leads to a "why am I bothering?" and I end up breaking whatever I am doing. Not this time!)

I am not going to peek at the scales until Monday and even then I keep telling myself that staying the same in wk 3 is ok, a little loss is better than none etc etc.... Don't expect, don't get disappointed! LOL
I have been in the wardrobe, don't worry about that almost every day to be honest. I think I am more of a serial "try all my clothes on" rather than a scales repeat offender! I can't wait to fit all my beautiful clothes again!

Koh
Thanks Koh

Hi HTBS,

Thanks, I was pretty stoked. The very quick results certainly does lift your spirits and puts you in the right frame of mind. (well it did for me anyway) I am trying to mentally prepare myself for it to slow down this week. I understand it is bound to happen. Oh well, see what happens.

When is the end of your first 2 weeks? I have no doubt that if you are sticking to it and being positive your loss will be amazing and you too will be over the moon!

Reward...hmmm... I am such a girl, I am thinking a pedicure! LOL!

Thanks for taking time to encourage me, *blush*. I can't wait to see how you get on!

Hey TII...

I really do have fat feet! I think I have been noticing a difference too... I have been wearing thongs lately... cos it's been warm, and I think they are loose... but with thongs how do you really know?! hehe

Oooh a pedicure...! I am hoping to get a massage this coming Wednesday!
