Hi Shell,

You really are prepared. Reading about all that extra food you can have makes me hungry.

I can't wait to have blueberries and yoghurt for brekky or toast with my egg and tomato.

I don't think I could eat steak for breakfast like you do but it obviously works well for you.

Cheers

Tuti

Hey Shell,

So glad you are doing so well with refeed. Sounds like you're totally on top of the entire refeed plan food wise. I have only set up for the first 5 days...so tomorrow is my last day of being prepared. Off to the market for me today I think.

So great that you haven't gained any weight...don't you love having more food and bread and knowing you didn't gain any weight?

Another thing they don't tell us online is the amount of bread to have...this is all they tell us:
The bread may be toasted, but no butter or margarine is allowed. You may eat white, brown or whole wheat bread. No “health” breads. Also, the bread must be machine sliced (thin slices).
Thats it...It annoys me no end that they just can't add to it that it needs to be 30g...so simple. Thats why I am here...to learn the little things I am missing out on. Thanks Shell. Love the sound of toast and egg...I think I will have to try that this week too.

Keep up the good work.

Cindy

OMG I have had the best nights sleep in weeks!
Didn't even have to get up to go to the loo!!
Not sure if it was the bread and feeling fuller or not, just glad it happened.
Hope it shows up on the scales
Shell

Nope didn't show on the scales 61kg (+100g) and I feel really bloated today Might miss the bread today and see how that goes.
Oh and I lost some more cm's today, so that is great!!

Shell you are so organised!! That will help in the first week after refeed finishes.
I have again portioned some chicken and beef for the times when I know I need them, I also find this makes lunches less of a temptation to have a precohens higher caarb lunch.

I prefer to keep my carbs for dinner so I can enjoy a meal with the family more easily.

Well done Shell
Reading your diary is helping me keep on track still

Thanks Cherry,

I think I will have to be prepared, it is second nature now to weigh your meals and eat at certain times, which I think is great.

I feel really in control now and am not afraid of life after re feed, which I was earlier in the program.
I am not for one minute thinking it will be easy, but the more prepared I am the less likely I am to creep back into "old" habits.
I am also sure I will have some "hiccups" after re feed, but I have the determination and the right mind set not to "give up" like I would have before.

I have learn't SO much about food and myself on this journey, it has taught me skills that I can use for the rest of my life!!

Plus I have just spent a small fortune on new clothes!!

Snack- 1 apple 2 crackers 9.30am
Snack- 1 good fruit (pineapple) 11.15am
Snack- 1 cracker 12.15pm

Was hungry early today, not sure if it was because I had breakfast so early?
Was very satisfied after lunch

Had no bread today- just the crackers, still feel a bit bloated.

Get to add a "bad fruit" tomorrow, extra protein and veg and can have 2 slices of bread.
Going to have at least 1 slice of bread tomorrow- not sure when, decisions, decisions

I also get to mix proteins tomorrow, so I am having mozzarella cheese with a steak snitzel as a parma!!

Absolutely looking forward to the different food tomorrow!!
Have a good night

So shell no more waiting 5 hours between meals!

I think it will make life so much easier when you don't have to eat at certain times.

It really seems like a lot of food. It will be interesting to see how you go with the bread tomorrow.

Cheers

Tuti

Hi Tuti,
I still will wait the 5 hours because I am so used to it and also that's how it works out with my jobs.
Sunday will be the only day I can not do the 5 hours if I want.

I really don't think I will be hungry before then with all the extra food!!

Hey Girl,

You're doing so well on refeed. Great News on the Weight Loss

The parma sounds amazing...I'm so going to do that when I can mix proteins. YUM!!! Sorry your pear wasn't so good...don't you hate to not fully enjoy something when everything you put in your mouth these days is so important?

The gassy thing was a problem for me for the first couple days of refeed but the last few haven't been a problem...just the weight gain that I am freaking out about.

Keep up the good work.

Cindy

Hi Cindy,
Not this morning no
I think the bread may be helping with the BM, pushing it all through, so to speak !

When do you start mixing proteins, must be getting close?
I am trying a banana today- I think that will be interesting with the tummy!

Hey Shell...I am allowed to start having new protein on Day 11 (Cohen's Day 7) and I am on Day 6 now. The strange part is that it says in my refeed that I am allowed to start mixing proteins starting Day 14 (Cohen's Day 22)...whats does that mean? Don't I have to be able to start mixing proteins on the day that I have my new protein?

Well I have been thinking for quite a while now, what I could do to cellebrate getting to the "end" of my program and for reaching goal?
I am getting another Tattoo!!

I have been looking for months for a Frangipani design Tattoo,(found a really pretty one- purchased the design on the internet Monday)

I am booked in next Thursday (final day of re feed) to get it done on my right wrist!! (400km round trip!)
It is somethng that will be a constant reminder of what I have achieved and where I want to stay !!!

I am SO excited

Wow shell...that is so exciting. You will always be reminded of the journey that you have been on...and where you don't want to go back.

Can you send a like so we can see the design?
