Default Re: Clean eating, happy living! GAME ON!

I'm so excited to be starting week 7 tomorrow, having completely it all 100% so far. I'm finding it super easy to stay on track and although I do experience tempting thoughts, it is easy enough to keep them at bay by reminding myself how much harder it will be to get back on track, than it is to just stay one track.

As always, I'm looking forward to measuring tomorrow morning to see my cms results. I went shopping last week and purchased some new tops in the normal section of Kmart (nothing fancy until I'm at goal), instead of in the big girl section. Felt a million dollars! A bought a couple of jumpers that are pretty fitted at the moment, to allow for the most wear as time goes on. The end of the year seems to be flying towards me at a hundred miles an hour! Before I know it, I will be down to a size 10/12 and this will all be a thing of the past. Well, the eating plan, not the new lifestyle.

I'm starting to look forward to certain events now, imagining me at different stages of my weight loss journey. Eg: going to a friends birthday party in September, which will be three months from my start date, and my weight loss will be most obviously indeed! And also the October long weekend, a friends 40th. I won't see them before then, so it's exciting to think of the difference in myself between now and then! And I'm really looking forward to our camping holiday this year! It will be so nice to fit into shorts and dresses this summer, and be able to wear nice singlet tops and tshirts, even if they are still a size 14/16 by them, it beats a size 22 that I wore last summer! And swimmers! Wow! The temptation will be to not buy too much this summer, because it will all be too big by next year!

It's funny how this time is my time, it's something I know for sure. Previously, I had done diets but couldn't really believe I would make it down to goal because it was all too hard to maintain. But not this. This is just working. The stars are aligned or something like that. I noticed the other day that I can no longer see my belly poking out beneath my chest when I look down.

I've also started to take greater care of my skin and face, to give myself the best opportunity to stay clear skinned and allow the most elasticity in my skin recovering. I hope for the best results.

Once last thing....I'm finding it a delicious temptation still not knowing what I weighed in at when I visited my clinic at week 4. I love not knowing. It makes so much sense to me! I think I am going to open my envelope with my results on Christmas Day as a present to myself for my hard work. It will be so rewarding to look back on the past 6 months (28 weeks) on such a special day when I am committed to sticking to my eating plan even on that day and reflect on what I have achieved. yep, that's what I'll do. No kg results until Christmas Day.

Will update re cms tomorrow.

Thanks guys, I appreciate all the encouragement and support.

It's another weekend here without my husband at home, he is at the snow living it up. Which means another weekend under my belt that I can now be proud of. It feels like the longer I am on this program, the easier it feels to maintain the status quo. Temptations are becoming fewer and fewer, and life has become a new normal, just getting on with it. I'm looking forward to seeing the two month mark come and go, to know that I have been able to stick to this without wavering at all for that whole time. And to know that in two more months, I will be even smaller and healthier than I am today! Yay!

I'm at a funny stage at the moment. Last week I bought clothes that fit, and are even slightly snug. And wearing clothes that are tight again has reset my mind a little into thinking I am still exactly where I started originally. Which is funny. Because at the end of the day, I'm down two sizes down! But as I don't know the kg results, my mind isn't convinced. and I don't know.

Anyway, all is going great!

So true, the more we stay on plan, the easier it does become. Well done for sticking through the tough times though, that takes perseverance and commitment

So I had another visit to my clinic yesterday to meet up with my helpful consultant and do a weigh in. Which again, I asked her to write down and pop into my envelope for me to save for a rainy day.

it's great to be two months into this journey, but I'm still not racing about my achievements yet. Once I get another two months into this journey, then I will feel deserving of a pat on the back. I've stuck to things previously, but my limit seemed to be that three month mark. So when I check in past that date, that's when I will feel satisfied in my own efforts. Anyone can do this for two months.... But true commitment comes after the enthusiasm dies away, if that will happen at all.

The pants I squeezed into three or four weeks ago are now loose. Which means I am not that far away from shopping in the NORMAL section for jeans, rather than the big girl section! Super exciting!

Also wanted to mention a benefit I noticed recently which I truly believe should be attributed to this program. My younger daughter who turns one next week, has never been a good sleeper. But since a few weeks after I started this program, she has begun to sleep all night. Not all the time, and not consistently, but she is better than she has been her whole life....and my well being is dramatically increasing with every night I get sleep! She is still being breastfed three times a day and it makes me wonder what crap I was pumping into her previously with all the crap I was eating. And I'm so pleased to think how things have settled for her as well as me nine beginning this. Amazing! What a great benefit for the whole family!

Just been reading through your diary and wow! You're doing so well and what a great benefit it's having on your daughter. What you are eating has to be having an impact on her!

Reading your diary is really motivating and you seem to have your head in the right place. Gotta love being able to fit into smaller clothes too! I'm sure you'll get there before you know it.

So after my monthly check in, I took some progress pics, as I will every month. The difference I see in just 2 months is incredible, and very rewarding! I'm stoked to be seeing a healthier, happy and strong woman! Can't wait to see what the coming months bring! Still charging on....deviation free at 8.5 weeks! Yay!

Default Re: Clean eating, happy living! GAME ON!

We had our youngest daughters birthday during the week, which was a lovely day. We celebrated with family and close friends yesterday, which was such a beautiful day. my husband thought I would get heaps of comments re my weightloss...it is so obvious to us now. But I didn't. And to be honest, it doesn't bother me at all. They will see it when they see it, and part of me loves that all my friends ever see when they look at me is just me. a couple of people did comment, they are the ones who know I am doing the program though, so I don't think it counts. What does count is how confident and happy I felt, rather than uncomfortable and self conscious. What a difference a few months can make.

Last weekend we went away with friends again, and I felt more comfortable talking with them about this program because the results are starting to speak for themself. My size 20 jeans will only be able to be worn for another could of weeks before they are truly hanging off me and need replacing with either 18 or 16 jeans! Eeeeeeek!

During the week, I went swimmer shopping. I am heading to north qld on a holiday next month and have discovered with delight that none of my swimmers fit anymore. I bought a one piece swimsuit which I love! It is snug around my the leg holes, but other than that it fits pretty well. Is a size 18!!! My last swimmers were a size 24. I also went bra shopping because my chest and boobs have lost so many cms that everything has been fitting terribly and I am getting a so back from the lack of support. I discovered I have gone down 2 sizes in chest size and am smaller in the cup too. It was super exciting! When I put the swimmers on to show my husband, he literally was wowed! And not just in a wow, you look sexy kind of way. But wowed in a genuine, I can't believe how you look in those kind of way. for 9.5 weeks in, I feel I have achieved so much already. Our wedding anniversary is on the 15th of October. I'm super excited to see how I will be looking then! And then two months after that it will be Christmas time! We will be going camping for a week with our friends....I dare say more swimmers will be required by then! It's just all so exciting!

I'm worried I'm becoming slightly vain in this process....I can't stop staring at myself in the mirror....all the time! It's not that I love myself anymore...I'm just constantly surprised by the results! And it's time to start throwing out some of my fat clothes that don't fit anymore! How exciting! Yay!

I hope everyone else is having awesome results and can see the end result in their mind's eye! It isn't that far away now!

So glad you're seeing the results, in your clothes, and isn't it wonderful to HAVE to buy new clothes! Enjoy the vanity! Bathe in it lol. I can't tell how much you've lost from your ticker, but I know I had to lose 10kg before anyone noticed on me. So glad hubby is enjoying your body transformations

Well done! It sounds like a week of achievements for you. Be as vain as you want, you deserve to be proud of your success.

Your diary is great motivation to stick to Cohens ... it really does work when we take our "medicine" as prescribed.

Onward and downward, lol.
