hello lovely, slimming, healthy folk-

i just had my plan emailed to me....wooo hoooo!!!!! i am thrilled to say i will be starting tomorrow!!!!
i need to do some shopping and planning, but it looks like i will be able to be ON PLAN sooner than expected.
i am in manhattan all day today, so i might have to shop first thing tomorrow. i already have 0% greek yog and frozen mango on hand.
so i can plan my brekkie no probs!!!

i have read and read that "if it is not written in your plan" than you cannot have it.
so i was a little sad to not see 'egg' written anywhere.
i wonder why i can't have egg. a bummer as they are simple, easy and great to take with (hard boiled, of course!!)

well, i am thrilled to bits...

Cool Bitten,

Time to start your own diary now!!!

HOORAY FOR YOU!!!

I'm surprised, however, that you have not got egg for a Meal 1 option! I've never seen that before!

No egg in Meal 1 options, bitten? Never mind. I'd like to have some egg dishes, but I just love my yoghurt with some mango or honeydew or other fruit and a bit of sweetener for breakfast, so I'm saving the eggs for when I finish.

Back again for the support. Still think the diet and the forum are the best ever, but too old to do it again. Now losing again slowly on maintenance diet. Ticker shows next intermediate goal only (5 kilos).

Bitten,

Welcome aboard the ark! All kinds of critters on here. And each and every one of us has something in common! A new beginning. You have your head right were it belongs and you are going to do a cakewalk through this program.

I guess you make our 3rd Yank on here as I am also one although I've been overseas for a quarter of a century. Planning on retiring back to my farm on the Eastern Shore of Maryland in 3~5 years. Want to go back looking GOOD! Not like the slug that I was becoming.

Bummer about the eggs though. I would have had a problem as I cannot stand yogurt at all, and cannot eat tofu/soy products anyway due to gout. You will just need a wee bit of fortitude the first week, maybe two at the outside, after that you will be just like the rest of us. Absolutely astounded and the changes to your body at a speed that you can actually see it melting away.

The Old Stallion, SMS (or S&M)

hi luce!!
welcome to you, to. i can't wait. i can't wait!!!

thank you some much SMS-
i am an east coaster too. NY, on long island. i have just returned after 10 years in the UK. kinda wished i hand not most days....but hopefully that will change come november!!!

i'll live without the eggs. cohen's is double checking for me, just incase. i had to ask as most people are allowed the odd egg and they are super easy!!

my head is staying where it needs to be 100% on plan. there is no other way to do this. i am more than ready. and hopefully my DH will follow suit when he starts to see me melting and feeling like a healthy human being again.

i need this place and am so glad to have found it.

big thanks-

Good girl for asking. As you've since posted in your diary, IT WAS A TYPO - and you CAN have eggs.

I specially wanted to reply to that HERE, so new readers can see that "mistakes CAN happen", and that IT PAYS to "Ask those questions" - imagine if you'd COMPLETED your course, gone without, and then found out LATER ...... (doesn't bear thinking about...)

Asy says "The only dumb question is the one you don't ask !!!" Keep on questioning, Bitten - it pays !!!

Welcome, Moony70. While you're waiting, start your own diary in the diaries section, and tell us a bit about yourself. Also, read through some of the diaries and look at photos (you've probably been doing that). Then there's recipes, and the various other boards to look through.

moony - you will soon get the forum worked out and yes you too will see the results - read the posts that Deb has put about for pre - stat
Re: Is there a way to "prepare" for Cohen's? by left clicking on this link and reading from the start.

http://newyouforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4354

- it will just start you on the way and take plenty of photos - you will amaze yourself at the way the body will change and very soon you will see brilliant results - so long as you get your mind in the right world about your new plan and you stick 1005 to your plan - to the last gram and to the letter of your plan - so any help you want just ask - you can and will do it - it does work and you will see a big big big change.

All the best and see you on the track

Andy

If you haven't already worked it out, Mooney, go to the Personal Diaries board and click on the New Thread button on the left near the top. Give your diary a name, and start writing.

Hi,

I'm starting on the diet this Sat (need time off from work and to get used to all that weighing of my food )

My goal is to lose 20-25 kg during the next 6 months.

Question here: is carrots and soy milk not allowed on this diet?

I hope to stay as true to the diet as i can, preparing food for work is a chore!

Thanks people and all the best to u!
