How encouraging to see a couple of you have lost 4 kilos in your first week. I have just finished day 7 but my first weigh in is not still day 12 so I am getting excited and anxious. I cant wait to make my 'ticker' move. Keep up the good work, I look forward to watching your progress.

Hi Ladies

A bit of a challenging day today... there's been a bit of stress around here and I found myself thinking about bingeing out on chocolate! but... I stayed strong and glad I did!

I had steak for dinner with veg and fried tomato, onion and mushroom on top with a sprinkle of cumin and 1 cracker. I'm feeling very content. I laughed at myself as I usually like my steak well done... this one was quite pink with blood or (juice) should I say and I found it quite delicious... LOL what's happening to me!

Thanks for popping into my diary, the support I'm getting is great!

Hi Alana.. I've never been to Rafters, I have always had babies since being in Tully... even a fake ID wouldn't get them thru the door LOL SA is a long way away

A great start Beckyboo... 4kg Woohoo

Good Luck with weigh in Winghama... the forum is inspirational isn't it! GO ticker GO

Hi All

We thought we would escape the rain and go up to Port Douglas for the long week-end... there's many Mum's Day Promotions on at the moment so we booked a resort named 'Pool'... you guessed it the back balcony opens up and you can dive right into a pool that stretched right past all the rooms... awesome!

Upon arrival there was a basket of champas and Cadbury chocolate... after 1/2 hr I put that away in the cupboard... out of sight... out of mind

I took my diet, recipe book and scales... how committed was that!!
I stayed 100% committed and my hubby said how proud he was of me sticking to my guns... AWWW

Yes it was tempting to open the wine and try the restaurant that our neighbours were raving on about and indulge in all those things... but I guess that's what got me to where I am now... LOL

I freshly cooked all my meals and cooked for the kids and took homecooked frozen meals for hubby and we saved a bucket load of money... I enjoyed waking up fresh and ready to spend good quality time with the family

When we left I took the Cadburys and Champas and hid them away until refeed... LOL

Weigh in 2moro... I might reach my first goal!

That is so good Liz! I just realised that we both started off at almost the same weight though my target is lower than yours (I guess I must be shorter than you :-p ). And you have already reached your first mini target! WAY TO GO GIRL!!! I am still 400g off my first mini-target of 75kg.... :-p.

Keep it going girl. I bet you will get to target faster than me! YAY, YAY, YAY for Liz!

Congratulations! Did you have a treat for your mini goal? Manicure, pedicure, trip to the hairdressers?
So very jealous of your trip to Port Douglas, that sounded absolutely divine!
Keep up the good work, you sound like your going great guns.

The sun is shining for a nice change today... the washing machine is working overtime!

I am starting to notice I am fitting into my clothes easier... a friend told me my face is just glowing and hubby said I look 'pretty' Awwwww

I am feeling good... just a little tired... probably from running after Mr 2 and Miss 3 going onto 16! And the juggling act of studying, housekeeping, shopper, chef etc etc.... never been so busy

Winghama... I find it's easier to set little goals instead of looking at the final number
Thanks WSM and Kenga for your encouragement

Hi Foggyduo... my goal weight is between 57-60kg I have really big boobs so I went the max weight... but my body will tell me when I'm ready for refeed... you are doing awesome as well Yay Yay Yay!!!

As for a reward for hitting mini goal Mmmm... I had never thought of that... I feel like I was rewarded with a w/end away... I'll think about that for my next goal, cheers Alana and Shuki for that fabulous idea

Hi C-Jaye... I look forward to the next time we go up there Hubby has already sussed out another resort with a pool and playground... Are you from up that way?

Thanks for all your support everyone... it does help to share the journey!

I hope you are all having a Cohen friendly week

Hi Liz - well done! 6kg is a dress size (in most cases) so you will be feeling much better in your clothes [and you'll start losing them because they'll be too big ]

Well done for hubby as well - for his nice compliment!

Take care - let the little ones run! Then they get tired, go to bed early and you have a bit of time for yourself

The only goal I have so far is my birthday on 22 Oct, it will be exactly 6 months since I started. Have booked and paid for flights to Brisbane on that day and hubby wants to go to the Sunshine Coast. Havent organised any accommodation yet though. If anyone has any recommendations they would be gratefully received!

Hi All

I am having another really tired day... not sure if I just need a rest... been trying to do as little as possible which is as hard as it sounds with the little ones

My youngest has been sniffly so maybe I'm just fighting off the cold or flu

I would appreciate if anyone could tell me about their energy levels?

Still 100% committed and looking and feeling a little smaller

I hope you are all having a great day!

Hey Liz
I find that if I sleep the recommended 7 - 8 hours a night, I have loads of energy. If less than that... EEEEK!! Last night I only had about 4 hours of sleep, so woke up this morning with a splitting headache, nausea, and a total lack of energy . Had to get up, eat breakfast, and go lie down again for an hour before I felt half-way human!

Not sure if this applies to you, but I sure hope you get your ZING back soon! Stick with it, we are all rooting for you!

Hello Lovely Ladies

I had a lovely sleep in this morning and my son... Sir 2 kept singing Happy Birthday to Mummy LOL

My daughter... Miss 3 filled in the missing words on a card that Daddy prepared... Mum... Chantal and Aaron... clever little thing

I hope you all had a wonderful day

Thanks Sheila for your response... I'm coming down with a cold... my son got it a few days ago and now the rest of us have got the symptoms... sniffly... sore throat
Hopefully it will be short lived... maybe hence the tiredness?

Hi C-Jaye... If you are ever travelling thru Tully call in for a cuppa!

Weigh in 2moro... I am fitting into a pair of shorts that I didn't fit into a week ago... good sign!

Because I don't go to the clinic to measure I'm finding when I measure up I am going up in CMS in some cases... eg arm... I kept moving the tape measure to try to get a lesser reading and couldn't find one!! LOL

Oh well clothes are a good indicator!!
