Agree with above, hang in there, my Mum's scales are about 3kg different to mine!
I must be a bit of all-over with my losses, I had 3 people in 3 days say to me "wow, you've lost a LOT of weight", which is so much nicer than "have you lost weight?" and they're not really sure, but just think you look different! Well the first friend said she noticed it around my middle (waist, hips) and the second friend said she can so see it in my face, and the third didn't say where, but I came and sat beside her, so I'm guessing my face with her as well.
It certainly is great for the confidence when people can really see a difference. Then there's the people who do a bit of a double take look at you, but don't say anything, but that's ok!

Hi, how is everyone here?
I lost exactly 1kg this week ,but 12cm!!!!!! Suddenly my jeans are feeling loose! I'm on my own for a few days as hubby's away for work.... So eating to plan should be easy. im feeling the need to exercise a bit more, so will have a longer walk & see if it makes me too hungry.
I'm still over 70kg...so maybe this week I'll crack into the 60 numbers.......here's hoping. Have a great week everyone, stay strong and positive!

Good on you Sue. I quite often see a 1.1kg loss pop up on my scales...12cm is fantastic...not to mention looser jeans.

Good luck with getting into the 60s. I'm on my way there, almost half way through the 70s currently...hoping to be in the other half of them by next weigh...
Keep up the good work...enjoy your few quiet days, lol.

Hi, I've been meaning to ask if everyone "rewards" themselves for achieving mini goals? I read about someone buying a new charm for every 5kg they lose.
I'm trying to retrain my thinking so rewards are NOT food, but pampering ( manicure, pedicure) or enjoyable " me" time ( walk along the beach, or window shopping in a lovely ara)
Any new & creative ideas for "self rewards"?
Keep true to the program lovely people!!

Despite my ticker, in late last year I lost over 40kg however have now had a major deviation and am getting back on track, strictly as of tomorrow. I really enjoy watching Mad Men, I found a great reward was to buy an additional episode through iTunes for every 4 days not having deviated. This same theory could be applied to any television show with episodes!!

Hi! I'd like to join....I'm 76kg at the moment and this is the second time around for me. My goal is 55kg. I have been recommended by the clinic to keep my existing program from late 2011 but my cravings are just overwhelming and I have not been able to stick 100% to the program for even 1 day!!! This is despite having not deviated for over 6 months when on the program originally about 1 year ago......in you experience have you needed to get a new program for losing weight again or has your original program worked for you?

Hi snippy.....no you are in the right spot...we are within 10 kg or less of each other. Welcome! I'm hovering at 70.8.......dying to get into the 60s!!
That's a good idea about the tv shows...I have a couple of series I love, and I could reward myself with them!
I've been walking around clothes shops just looking at the moment (stopping for a black coffee and apple), and my friend even convinced me to go into Prada, MiuMiu etc which I'd normally be terrified of doing!!!! So far I haven't bought a thing......but once I lose another 5 kg I think I will splash out! What I really need to do is "shop" my wardrobe for the clothes I couldn't squeeze into!

Hi Snippy I have been using my old program and have been doing really well with it. I do have the refeed as well so I should be ok. If I find I am beginning to struggle I will buy a new program, but at the moment I'm fine. If you don't have the refeed you will need to buy a new program as the refeed is absolutely crucial to stabilising your hormones.

Great idea about the tele programs

It's easy...

Allowance of zucchini grated or you can add a little bit of onion and a mushie chopped up small.
Add 2 crackers crushed
1 egg
Garlic
Italian herbs
Black pepper

Mix it all together and let it sit for a few minutes. Spoon three even amounts into the frying pan which has been sprayed with a little oil. Pan fry slowly until each side is gold. Eat while hot

A pleasure! Perhaps you could start your own cookbook, I'm not overly impressed with the Cohens one, far better recipes here (apart from the cheesy frittata - that's devine!)

Haven't had that one yet. I tend to limit my cheese intake as I'm mildly lactose intolerant AND I retain water badly when I eat it. As for the recipe book... I never measure my ingredients such as the herbs so the food I make tastes different each time I make them! I could never write them all down

Smile Re: I need a buddy! Anyone around the 70 mark???

Hi guys
I'd like to join .... Couldn't stick to my program later 2011-early 2012 when I made a move from Christchurch to Brisbane to live! Struggled so much, despite having lost 10kg! I have crept about 3-4 back on (I was really naughty with food, and knew it ) and now I'm back on it using my program again. I'm not v tall so goal weight is 53kg but if be happy at 55-57 I think! In fact id be blown away! I'm 71 now so 16 to go.
Fingers crossed! I'll check in here sometimes - ps what brand vitamins do you Aussies use? I've run out of krill oil I bought from chch clinic and want to replace it! I use Blackmores multi that was recommended on here and still have my Chromium from chch clinic.
Sorry for any spelling errors, it's late
Have a great day !!
