Re: Bibabs's Confessions/Diary
Hey I love you guys. Yes it did feel good afterwards!!
I hope you all enjoyed Valetines. We had a spectacular evening. I prepared sole with prawns. My hubby had cheese sauce with his, I just had lemon juice (allowance). We had that with a fresh green salad. He even poured me a half a glass of red wine, I toasted, but did not have a sip, I gave it back to him. yippee ( the crackerbread works a charm as coating for fresh fish.) I will just let all you wonderfull people know that I earned myself an agate and gold necklace..it is stunning. It was from him , saying it was my reward for losing so much weight. How sweet is that? We are going away this weekend with very good friends. They are such good friends that over the years they have tolerated all my diets and whims, and now it is no exception. As a matter of fact she is seriuously thinking abut joining COHEN. So I will not be led into temptation. You muct all have a good deviation fre weekend. See you Monday. |

Re: Bibabs's Confessions/Diary
I had such a great weekend. We went away into the mountains with very good friends of ours. (Self Catering) so being compliant was actually very easy. Had too much sun though, shoulders and back a bit tender today.

Re: Bibabs's Confessions/Diary
Well done girl, you are so close you could be finished in under a month and starting your refeed. I find it hard preparing food for others that I can't eat my self. I cook a really big meal on Mondays so that hubby can eat it for the next three days.
You can see the finish line from where you are, focus on that final sprint. KGB

Re: Bibabs's Confessions/Diary
Hi all,
Just a quick check in. Have not lost any more, but the cm are definitely moving now...you know those bulges on the bra line, they are going I have joined yet another race. I know myself the more competition I have, the better I perform. I have discovered something quite phenomenal. I used to have my breakfast at about 8.30 ( I rise at 6.00) and then the rest of my meals with the 5 hour gap as stipulated. This last weekend, I actually had my brekkie at 6.30, just because it was more convenient. Normally I would be chomping at the bit for lunch by 12 o clock. But Sat and Sunday I was fine to hang on until 1.00. So yesterday I tried it at the office, had my breakfast at home before I left for work, guess what, I lasted witout hunger ..only had lunch at about 1.15. Must be something to do with the period of time you wait to eat after you have woken up. Anybody got any ideas? |

Re: Bibabs's Confessions/Diary
WOW Bibabs, I think I just had a "lightbulb moment" here! On weekends even though I wake up early, I usually eat breakfast later than during the week and am ALWAYS hungry on weekends! It must have something to do with eating brekkie later. Thanks for the insight! I'm going to try eating as soon as I wake up!

Re: Bibabs's Confessions/Diary
I am all stressed out... Yet another day without loss . I know why they tell you to weigh once a month. BUT!!!! my scales measure in 500g increments, so, I ordered one that measures 100g increments! I am sure that will help. Also I am increasing my water intake..hopefully that will attract the scale gods. Coming to think about it, when I got to my car this morning, there was my waterbottle still with 500ml water in from yesterday. OOPS!
Other things I have tried is eating yogurt for Brekkie and fish for lunch and dinner? Still need to find my optimum combos. Don't know if I'll clear the 70's by end Feb though. I have some good news. My best friend has joined COHEN, went for her consult and weigh in yeterday. Told her about the forum, so maybe she joins us? |

Re: Bibabs's Confessions/Diary
Oh dear Bibabs, looks like i havent ever read your diary until now! Well i will read it in its entirety after i post this humble apology! Every last word!
Thing is, i have to KNOW "my" show ponies so i can see any changes in sprint! Mind you, i have read a lot of your posts in the other sprint and i know you have written to me so that feels "better!" I started cohens last august and got to goal on 1st Nov. One of the main reasons i am still here is, I was asked to become a MODERATOR (woohoo ) last October and i value that privilige and i LOVE the inspirational hit i get to stay slim by sticking around! Trick is, i dont always have enough time to keep up with all the NEW people, only gradually someone new catches my eye and i cant resist! Like you! And you are doing SO WELL! Anyway, sorry i missed you are in South Africa when i was posting in the show pony thread! Plenty of time to keep up with the race! Go for it girl you are all winners! Pandora |

Sure you would be developing square eyes by now, or "fried brain" if you had to read everything!! But taking the interest in me definitely leaves me with a warm cuddly feeling |

Re: Bibabs's Confessions/Diary
I am soooo happy. Had an overnight loss of 1 Kg so the blight had ceased. Obviously the water has been a contributing factor. I am trying to get thru 3 L per day. Not easy but can be done. I have also stopped taking one of my meds ( I was on 2 different antidepressants) the ones I stopped taking, does something with the hormone prolactin, and really puffs up one's boobs. The melons are actually changing to grapefruits now, and I am feeling great.
So hopefully we have more success after the weekend. I am going for my 4 week weigh in on Friday next week. ( Having the bloods done on Tuesday). We have a comp at the clinic for the "loser of the month" Don't know how they work that whether it is % or actual kilos. I will have to wait and see. Will check in again on Monday!! Have a good weekend all. |

Re: Bibabs's Confessions/Diary
I am so chuffed, another 500g bites the dust. Everytime I have a loss, I check out a block of butter to visualise the volume of fat I have lost..makes a big difference if you do that!!!
Hubby is still sleepijn gin, so I have been reading a bit, and taking a slow start to the day. I am off to play golf just now, have not been on the course for 2 weeks so hope the swing is still ok. We have club Champs in 2 weeks time so I need to fine tune all the kinks. Well bye for now, will check in tomorrow again. Hpoe I can report another movement. |

Re: Bibabs's Confessions/Diary
3 days later, no change. I am a bit down today have actually been for the last two days, and I have no idea why. I know I am frustrated because the weight is not coming off quicker, and I am being 100% good, all the time. But I suppose the closer one gets to the end the more difficult it becomes. Also I believe my scale is playing up, sometimes I have to weigh 2 to 3 time to get a duplicated weight. I ordered a new one, but it is not available anymore, so the search continues. Also I have not had a bathroom visit for at least a week. So all of that adds up.
I had my 4 week bloodtest today, am going for my official weigh in on Thursday 28th. So that will be the cruncher to see what the scale at the clinic reads. I just sprinkled some fairy dust, I am sure if I wish you all well, I will feel better as well. |
