CohenDate: RFD12
Today's Weight: 68.8kg (-0.0kg) / 151.6lbs
Body Fat: 14.4%
Breakfast: Veg Omelet, Papaya, tea
Snack: Bread, Pear
Lunch: Tuna & Pork Salad w/Mango, Carrots & Corn, tea
Snack: Bread & Banana
Dinner: Steak & Chicken Thigh w/Asparagus & Carrots, tea
Snack: Apple, 3 CB, 250ml Coke Zero
Water: 2l
Deviations: None

No movement again today. Today is the 12th day of 16 days. All is good so far. Only real differences that I've been noticing is I produce more gas than before (I'm assuming the Bread & Bananas at this point). Still able to pack it all in and I think today is maxed out on the quantities of food as from this point on it's more a shuffling between quantities & types to see how we get on....

Talking Liberation at last!

YEEEEEEEEE HAAAAAAAAA!

For the first time in at least a decade I am now 100% free of any pills! My Blood/Urine tests are in and my doctor's appointment this morning has me no longer taking any Allopurinol or Lipostatin as both are well within normal ranges. All my cholesterol (good & bad) are in healthy ranges now. That, along with the 2 HBP meds that were stopped 2 weeks ago means I'm completely pill free.

Blood pressure this morning at the doc's again still at 110/70. To think that a food prescription could not only knock off 25kg in 21 weeks AND give me normal BP, Cholesterol and Uric acid levels without any suffering is almost unbelievable.

Thank you Dr. Cohen!

The NEW Stallion

Wow SMS,

That is so close to unbelievable ....... One starts to wonder what CAN'T happen when on this plan?

That small amount you paid to enrol has already paid you back MANY times around hey? e.g. there was probably a cost for all of those pills, yeah? Now GONE forever.... Not to mention the "priceless" side of things (which your excited shout conveyed so well ) And the obvious one - with 25Kgs kicked to the kerb....

Mate, that is all SUCH good news - I'm stunned just thinking how HUGE that news must be for you. How great is "freedom" eh?

Hearty congrats mate,

Koh

That is great news, SMS. I'm so pleased to read it. That to me is a much more important benefit of this diet than just looking good.

SMS, that's awesome and you're a living proof that Cohens is just wonderful if you stick to it. How good is that, getting off all these medications, and loosing the weight, by 'just' leading a healthy lifestyle. IT just sp porves Cohen's point of using food as medicine.

Congratutlation! And a big 'thank you' to Dr. Cohens!

Strange, day 15 and still dropping to a new low of 68.2kg. Finally did the Tux photo thing. Not enough hours today to do what I need to get done.

Also lost another 3cm this week. My arms are starting to look like twigs.

I wish my arms were starting to look like twigs, SMS. I don't think the skin's shrinking at all, even though a lot of the fat has gone.

You look as good in the tux now as you did at your wedding.

Default Refeed Day 16 of 16!

Date: Monday 16 June 2008
CohenDate: RFD16
Today's Weight: 68.2kg (0.0kg) / 150.4lbs
Body Fat: 15.7%
Breakfast: Veg Omelet, Papaya, tea
Snack: Bread, Pear
Lunch: Kiwi Chicken & Pork Salad w/Carrots, tea
Snack: Banana, Buttered Bread
Dinner: Steak & Cod Steak w/Asparagus, Broccoli & Baked Potato, tea
Snack: Apple, 3CB, 250ml Coke Zero
Water: 3l
Deviations: 100% NONE throughout the entire Program.

Well, today is the last day on refeed. One more final weigh-in left for the program proper. Then comes the lifestyle change. My turn for experimentation on what works and what doesn't in a normal day to day setting. Layed in a box of chicken breasts & steaks yesterday but not weighed but portioned approximately to be held for any necessary corrections if required. Life will get interesting from here on out. Shopping trip for clothes next Saturday is a must, as I've gone below my original target of 70kg and my waistline is well below 32" now (which is my original goal). I have to hurry up and buy clothes otherwise I may get complacent as there is room to grow in those that I'm wearing now. Even the Tux's pants were roomy yesterday.

He's definitely a believer. Although he is amazed that I could go from borderline high blood pressure on 2 medications, allipurinol for gout, and cholesterol medication to absolutely normal levels in everything in less than 6 months. I gave him lot's of research info back in February when I saw him then. Seems, like me, he could not fault it at all.

But this being able to see my ribcage and my backbone by looking at my bellybutton is a bit unnerving though!

Now.........time to seriously get on K's Elliptical Cross-Trainer with purpose!

I think you're due a post on the porum. We need to see if we can get others, who need this programme, onto it. let me know if you do similar on your board.

Yeah, you might be right. I am due for an update on your board.

I've been commenting with some regularity on my board but not given any info re: the program itself, just the results I'm getting. I spend a bit of time rebutting those types of programs over there. Did so even before getting interested in Cohen's. I figure by seeding some of the weight loss threads, if they are really interested then they'll ask more questions either via the board or PM.
