My 2cts. (as i am hanging out, procastinating on work, and also was interested in the diversity here)

Same industry - advertising. Just in lots of different countries - reverse chronological order:
Sydney,
Saigon,
Singapore
London
Lisbon

Best job - teaching English for a year in south america after leaving Uni - lets just say it was less about the teaching and more about hanging out travelling around the length and breadth of SA.

Worst job(s) - all the part time jobs during studies - sandwich maker and having to get up to make sarnies at the crack of dawn, check out girl and having to work late shift on a Thursday and Friday nights... grrrr...

Dream job - I always wanted to be a doctor with Medecins Sans Frontieres. With my addiction to creature comforts, and aversion to camping, probably just as well I didnt go down that particular path...

Actually - best job is probably now as i am "in between jobs" being a lady of leisure Doesnt stop me having to write a proposal at midnight... back to work...

Well, I'm fairly boring, but here goes:

Currently Independent Mortgage Broker ( Property Investor - which surpasses all other!)
Prior, Home Loan Franchisee (2006 - 200
Part Time - Admin Manager Bi-Lo (18 months)
Before that, Independent Mortgage Broker (still am, since 2003)
Property Developer (still am, since 2002)
Licensed Estate Agent - Specialist Sales (2 years) - still licensed, will use again one day!
Licensed Estate Agent - Business Sales (6 months)
Licensed Estate Agent - Buyer's Agent (2 years)
1900 Psychic Line (5 years) - same time frame as the shop
New Age Retail Store owner / operator (5 years)
Child Care Centre owner / operator (included Registered Kindergarten and Before and After School Care, babies from 13 weeks, open six days) (5 years)
Bookkeeper for a Govt child care resource service (2 years)
Bookkeeper / Office Manager for a non-destructive testing company (5 years)
Agent's Representative - sold land all over Victoria (5 years)
Spectroscopist (7 years)
Casual while at school: Hairdresser's Assistant, Deli Assistant, Coles Variety Store)

Volunteer Work:
Councillor, Shire of Lillydale (1988 - 1991) - lots of different Committees - standing for Election really does put hair on your chest!!
Various committees including President, Wonga Park Neighbourhood House (about 5 years)
Life Line (2 years)

I have now been working 43 years ..... I started at 15 and am now 58 and couldn't imagine a life without working in one way or another

Over the years I have always been studying for something, hold various Certificates III and IV but never got around to studying for a Degree. Maybe I'll do that at the University of the Third Age!

I'd rather wear out than rust out so I guess I'll continue working and die with my boots on!

Or, maybe, take a World Cruise on the QEII first!!

Cheers
Kristine
