Hi David good luck its such an exciting change to go through - metamorphosis more like it and worth all the highs and sometimes lows. Im 25kgs down and dont regret a moment - you wont either once. You and Andie have similar amounts to lose she is over halfway and so active on the forum you should read her diary. The diary is really great can become addictive but i turn to this when im low or hungry or wanting to chat with friends who understand what we are going through. (Or in this instance bored cause hubby has the UEFA cup on &#128541Wishing you much luck!

Hiya all!!
It's time to get my health back ..... the older I get the harder it is to lose weight - and am having aches and pains making exercise a challenge. So am trying Cohen's again - as I had lost in the past - but was thrown a curve-ball - my world changed .... and I reacted negatively by falling back into old bad habits. And here I am again .... feeling heavy and unhealthy ... time for a change .... but I'm scared of failing yet again ....

I had managed to lose from August to Feb this year 8 kg .... have put a few back on due to hip &heel pain, and a minor op that had me no moving much for 2 weeks. Have been trying hard to do my walking, but after a few weeks pain flares up then i have to rest ... .then weight comes back. I have cut back heavily on alcohol, sweets (my downfall), eating fruit, veg, pulses and meat ... very well rounded meals, cut portions .... bump meals with vegies .... and the weight creeps back .... I wonder ... do I sleep eat?? No evidence of this - maybe it's hormone / age related?? Feeling like i am lost in this world of food and excercise - can't find what fits me.
Dragged out my old Cohens plan - try that for 2 weeks and see how i go. Will then decide whether to get a new plan. Very scared that my commitment will waver...again ....
I'm feeling that even if I lose 10-20kg it will be a good start to get moving again!
I am feeling excited ... but yes ... those doubts just won't stop creeping around!

Hi Kathy.
Welcome back 😆
I know exactly how you feel. This is more a mental challenge than a physical one but we can do this together with the support of the NYF crew.
It is amazing how quickly you achieve results when you get back on plan. I'm halfway and just coming out of a major deviation so am detoxing all over again. Am one week into detox and am starting to feel a bit better. Am addicted to alcohol, have quit smoking and sugar and grains so one slip up and I am feeling it for sure.
It's my body's way of punishing me. Fingers crossed I get back on track and back to losing.
I'll be with you all the way. You sound like you don't have much to lose and you're principled so well done.
Can't wait to read more about you and your journey.
Hugs Andie

Hi Everyone! I'm Irene
This is my 2nd shot at the program. I started NOV 2012 - lost 45-50 Pounds in 5-6 Months and years later, gained everything back + 20 pounds. I ballooned to 200 pounds and now this is my 3rd week at the RE-SET and I've lost 12 pounds. I haven't cheated with "real" food but I have cheated with extra crackers.. I feel like I could have lost more if I was DF but those extra crackers will really slow down your progress!! I really need to get out of the mindset of "that wont hurt" "that bite wont make a difference" - ALL EXCUSES which made me fat in the first place! Anyway! Hello everyone!
