I've started this diet sooo many times had great results and then disaster hits in my life and I go to pieces. This time around I'm not going to do that.
I have a lot to lose!
1st goal - break the 150kg barrier
2nd goal - get to 125kg (that's where I got to before disaster struck)
3rd goal - 118kg (that is weight I was 10 years ago)
4th goal - 106kg (weight at matric)......I'll leave it there for now and add on when I get closer.

Thanks Trude - it's going VERY well. It's awesome to have a support group to jump onto when we need it. I'm definitely going to make this part of my life now and once I've reached my goal.

I've helped someone else onto this program too because she couldn't believe the results I've achieved in such a short space of time.

Onwards and downwards.

My wife and I have been on Cohens several times, i was up to almost 130kg got down to 90kg and am currently 109kg. When you all get back on the bus, do you just use the same program?

Your blood chemistry may have changed. I had to get a new plan to shed a few more kgs as my height shrunk during my big loss. I would suggest you try your eating plan for a few days 100% and see how you go. You shouldn't feel hungry after the 4th day, if you do, that means time for a new one. Some people do get by using their old plans, but I can't speak for them. I just know my old one didn't work and it was only 12 months old.

I agree with MH.

Don't bank on your old plan working. Mine is still working... My consultant said to try it for a week and see how I go, and then review my weight loss after the first month. I was doing well, so have stuck with it. 16 weeks later and 25 kilos done. I was prepared to get a new plan though, if I needed to... I still am, should my plan start becoming unsustainable.

Good luck wbleeker!!!

Hello all!

I too am back on the bus after a LONG haul of counselling, finishing uni, having a baby and moving interstate... three times

Day 5 for me and feeling AMAZING. Not hungry really except for the hour before my next meal.

I don't know my starting weight because I don't have scales and have decided to take this journey without, I don't believe in putting a number on my efforts iykwim, I am going to let my pants do the talking, so right now I am a size 22-24 and would like to be able to shop in a normal store without drama.

A couple reasons I feel like this time it's for real; I am in a totally different place then I was the first time around. When I started this journey 7 years ago I had untreated bulimia, was working nights and full time uni. Looking back on my journal it seemed that everytime uni got too much I would hit a wall, all that intense brain power made me hungry for sugar and lots of it! Working nights alone also led to ordering take away often... the boredom and loneliness of working in a mind numbingly boring job

These days my only responsibility is my family, being a stay at home mum. I have the space and the mentality to focus on myself like never before. I am taking this opportunity to give it the old college try and finish what I started I feel like I am in a really good place atm and am ready for this challenge.

I love that there is still a forum out there, the first time around the forum was my rock so I really hope I can share this journey with you guys.

Also, BAM darling, I have missed you lady! I need to find your msn again I hope you're still around xx

Cheers guys, speak soon x

Hello everyone

I have been feeling a little down too.

Started the cohen program on sept 7. within 2 weeks i lost 5kg but i cheated sunday lunch and yesterday's dinner as it was my mom's birthday.

Even when i cheat i am not eating much because i eat in fear and i dun feel happy too.

my scales have not moved at all.

just feeling really disappointed with myself.. i really want to get the 90 out of my scale..anyone has any idea when will i start to continue losing again after a cheat...really feel crappy for not having the self discipline...

Sept 7 2015 96.6kg
Sept 23 2015 91.2kg
