Well I had a good week, basically keeping to plan but not weighing quantities. Did get to 59.2 but went to friends last night for a Bbq hence will now take me a few days to get back on track. Restarting spin this week, not looking forward to the 5.30am starts.

Ouch i remember those the worst is getting up but once you are sweating on the bike it feels good. Yesterday i was at the gym I was working very hard with my trainer and i over did it. Ended up passing out and woke up with the shakes he made me eat a banana and drink sugar water i was so mad. He said the body shaking was using up sugar and carbs to reregulate its basically zerod out the water and fruit! So brings home again the quantities and types if food along with a hard workout - they just dont gel. I like to revert to EP during the week its easy but my trainer is going to help with the EP to make it more useful when i exercise. Do you not struggle with this?

It is a good thread Ms Jiggles - I just need to keep with it. I looked forward to you joining

Yes Tess, even after 3 years I still struggle with the exercise:food ratio. I have enjoyed the last 2 weeks since returning from India not going to the gym (have been for the odd run and swim) as it means that I have eaten close to plan. I don't mind the 5.30 starts really, it is easier to exercise before the household gets up and moving than try and fit it in during the day.

My trouble is I still see carbs as bad so stay clear of them, then I end up bingeing or I think by exercising, I can be a little more lapse with eating.

At present, I am reasonably happy with my weight - just another 1.5kg to go and I would be content however I have a goal to be this weight (or less) in 11 weeks so will really need to work on getting it right.

Weighed a day early as away for the weekend. I ate and drank freely during the weekend so won't weigh again for a few days as I know damage was done

While the figures look good, yesterday morning was showing only a 100gm drop and then bang, this morning I was down 800gm - so those weeks of frustration where the scales didn't move as much as I thought they should have, have finally caught up and I am happy. You just have to keep the faith
Still would like to lose another kg (I think I always will ) and I NEED to tone - I have the exercise sheet and I will do cardio fitness but don't seem to have the will power to do the simple at home exercises

Happy weekend all.

Not sure whether the scales are playing up or not, as they have been giving me some weird readings of late - both up and down. I kept reminding myself that weighing is only weighing yourself esteem and it is how you feel that is the most important measure. This is also one of the hardest parts of cohens - learning not to focus on a number!!

Overall, pretty happy where I am as even with the wonky scales, my clothes are all fitting better, even the ones at the bottom of the drawer.
