Naw I won't tell on ya. Oh and 6 months of warmth I wish. Were lucky to get 3 months of summer in the great northern area where I am at.

We had a couple of days of 60 degrees now it is back to the 40's guess it beats below 0 though.

Got another snow the other day but it is nearly gone. Told hubby if it snows again now I am moving......

Hi all,

Off back home to Bne for the long weekend ('cept I'm starting a day early). While there, other things will be occupying more of my time, so I could well be "MIA" until next week.

Keep on doing yourselves good - see you all next week,

Koh

Hi all,

AJ - thanks for the welcome - as you'll see (below) I'm back, but have been "time limited" recently (NO complaints from me though - it's been GREAT!)

Jenniwren - and thank you for finding my diary (it can disappear off the front coupla pages pretty quickly these days). Happy to help out, Jenni and you're doing pretty good hey?

Update:-
Well, my recent absence from my diary was simply a matter of running out of hours (haven't been back to Bne - but I HAVE been "around the place a bit" and my evenings have been seriously curtailed - but ALL good )

First off, in case you don't know, there has been a lot of activity at the Admin level - we are preparing for a new software that is more suited to deal with the kind of traffic that this lively place is generating. Now, I don't do that much at the software level (I'm a hardware bloke) - but there have been a quintazillion PM's going around to/from Asy and others over all of this. But it will all be worth it very soon

You are probably all seeing "changes" happening on the forum - and it looks BETTER to me the way it is moving.... So we all will be the beneficiaries down the track....

Then, I received an invite to meet up with one of the inspirations of this forum - and I couldn't say NO (why would I? :P ) So, on the 4th, I got to meet up with Faithy, her hubby, and one of her daughters in Canberra. To say I had the BEST day is such a huge understatement !!!!

Faithy, in person, is as lovely as her posts sound - and her hubby is EVERY BIT the real deal (we all know she raves about him on here - well, now, I understand why!!) And, the one daughter I met is every bit as lovely as Mum is. Wish I'd met the older one too - I'm sure she would be equally so... In short, what a beautiful family !!!

They made me feel SO welcome We put their iron pot at serious risk that day The day just seemed to fly by, and I finally arrived back in Syd (temporary home) at stupid o'clock on Monday morning BUT IT WAS SO WORTH IT for me !!! I had ONE regret that day - I'd taken my camera with me, but completely FORGOT to use it - as it goes when you are just "caught up" in the conversation and the hospitality !! Ah well, a small price to pay for an awesome day... Faithy, thank you SO MUCH - you made my day, lovely lady

Then, on Monday 5th, an earlier planned meeting took place - Sassyk had been our 20,000th post on here (and I'd offered to stand that 20,000th person dinner on me...) With a bit of careful planning, Sassyk had arranged for Kannadew to ALSO be there, so lucky me got to meet up with TWO MORE inspirations for a chat and dinner at Darling Harbour !!! Once more, I was blown away by meeting these two - both as sweet as could be, and both looking SO GOOD !!! And these two had just done the Sydney Harbour Bridge walk !! Let me tell you, like Faithy, these girls BOTH look BETTER in real life than their photos show.... Unfortunately, the dinner and chat finished all too quick (for me) - but, Sassy and Kannadew, it was my pleasure to get to meet with you - so THANK YOU for making my day on Monday

I hope you two lovely ladies go on to enjoy your respective holidays, and come back here refreshed in every way

Last night, it was a seminar (good input from an amazing Australian) that kept me away from here - and tonight (in another hour or so, I need to go handle a bit of planned Overtime. I'm looking forward to the weekend when I might be able to find a wee bit more time to get back here (so I can turn around three times, and settle down in a sunny corner of this great forum and enjoy a bone :P )

In short, this week has been (and still is) so hectic, yet SO enjoyable for me. I'm one lucky hushpuppy

Next week, I'll be back in Bne for a few days (no actual dates known as yet, but will update as I know them - but almost certainly away from 14th to 19th..... Keep on doing it for YOU, good people - see you around the place,

Koh

A quantizillion? Yeah, I think that's an accurate number

I just had a look and THIS WEEK I've got 120 new PM's.

Still, I think the place is looking pretty suave. Can't wait for the BIG changes a'comin'.

Hi all,

Well, the concrete has hardened a bit - so I leave Sydney tomorrow night (13th May) for Bne - and will be there until at least the 20th (maybe even a few days after that - we'll see....) If things work out, Bne might keep me there until the 26th ..... Fingers crossed

While there, I hope to "hop on here" from time to time, just to check up on you all We'll see....

Keep on doing it good people,

Koh
