I'm in this one right???? Cause I'm a tad excited!!! Deviation-free zone ahead!!

Today has been great - and it's the start today right?

Seriously I really should go 'blonde' (nothing nasty meant by that either!) but honestly I'd forget my head if it wasn't screwed on!!

Surely someone has seen my memory??? I know it's around here somewhere!! LOL

Much love,

Trips xxxxx

"I'm so excited and I just can't hide it....!" Wooo Hooo! my first mango!

Soooo... just to prove that DF really works and give everyone and myself included, some extra motivation I'll fill you in on my DF stats so far....

I started on 80.1kg and am now 78.8kg- a loss of 1.2kg, I have gone from a size 16 to a size 14 with many size 12 nearly fitting me, the zipper doesn't want to go up, and a feeling of accomplishment and control.

Now even though I have been in this 1st part of the challenge I have actually been DF since March 24th, when Easter was finished, a total of 25 days DF. After gaining 1kg over Easter I decided that it wasn't worth eating non-cohen foods and decided to be 100% and this has paid off. My stats from the 24th March are-83.9kg down to 78.8kg- a loss of 5.1 kgs, see... It pays off to be DF!

Being DF also allows you to walk into Red Rooster with your family, let them order what they want, sit down with them while they eat and simply read the New Idea while sipping on a bottle of water. Sure the smell was VERY tempting, but at the time I wasn't hungry, I knew I had lunch waiting for me when I was really hungry and I just couldn't get past the thought of it's non-cohens food and I don't need it, so by the time we left I hadn't deviated, I felt so pleased with myself for not deviating (that's a great feeling!) and I new I was incontrol and my new cohens lifestyle was the best choice I could have made.

My new lifestyle is a habit now, my new habit and my brain is on autodrive, I have no need to go back to old habits and and wants of non-cohen foods. I wont say thay that when is smell a fresh bread roll I don't think "mmm, that smells sooo nice" but thats it, no need to eat it, just move on to the next thing I have to do.

Basically the longer you stay DF the easier it is to stay DF and the easier it is to say no to temptation and the better you feel about yourself which I think is the biggest plus of the whole cohen experience.

Hope this helps, good luck to everyone, heres to completing part 2 of our DF challenge

Maisy

I HAVE to stay DF, otherwise I might as well throw in the program and the $600+ we spent on the program... because the minute something un-cohens enters my lips, it will be all over for me... I just know it.

I found out that last time I was deviating the whole time... I didn't even realise it. I was having a teaspoon of spices per meal, not per day!!! Strange thing is that my bloods didn't show up having any deviations.

Day 2 for me of no known deviations yay!!!

Ok Just testing some shrinking here.. not sure how to exactly do it yet, but in the mean time I hope this is small enough..

I am in a size 14, (yes I know it is a little snug but a couple of weeks ago there is no way the buttons would have met up) My next goal is to have this shirt baggy..

Maisy I admire your wisdom and strength I know you will be yet another legend on this board.. Keep it up girl....

Well done Jamanoha, truer words have not been spoken.. that is food for thought about once un-Cohens foods enters our lips it is sooo hard to get back on the saddle.. You have a great philosophy...

Last night went well, it was a party plan party as well, so lots of talking etc and not a lot of snacking and eating.. good stuff.. I took my pepsi and actually had my cheese and crackers before I left, so I could go to bed when I got home.. HOWEVER I snuck onto the computer when I got back so my early night went out the window......

Have a great weekend girls.. I am on nightshift tonight and sleeping tomorrow.... well that is the plan...

Hey Jeannie!
Is that the blouse you couldn't do up not that long ago??
You look gorge baby! Well done!

I agree Maisy, the longer you stay DF the better! You think 'don't stuff it up now, you've gone this long, don't have to start from scratch again!'
Makes it easier not to deviate than before when you could just start again tomorrow!

Cya from me xo

You look terrific Jeannie.

Deviations are the start of the slide off the diet for me. I've been there numerous times, I'm not going to do that on this diet.

Back again to do it all over again, starting from exactly the same weight as last time.
My health is not good and my doctor is predicting all sorts of nasty things if I don't lose weight.
What else do I do? I help people make money and I help people save money. Please take a look at http://www.acnlinks.clancie.com.au/
Back again for the support. Still think the diet and the forum are the best ever, but too old to do it again. Now losing again slowly on maintenance diet. Ticker shows next intermediate goal only (5 kilos).

Hi Sharles, no that isn't the blouse but I should try that one on now too.. I know it is still too snug but at least I can do the buttons up now..

I know you are right AJ, and I like being able to not worry anymore about those things.. for example last night when I went into work there were cupcakes and a HUGE cream birthday cake for the staff to eat.. (this is something that is quite normal to have to face each day, if it isnt cake, cheesecake, chocolates, it is lollies).. Anyway I just asked if anyone wanted any, cos I just wanted it outta sight.. No one wanted any, so I wrapped it all in glad wrap and put it in the fridge.. I just had my yogurt at around 4 am and some water.. all was good....

Had my favourite cauliflower and crumbed chicken for lunch and I want to try one of Faithys Favourites tonight..

grrrrrrrr my battery has gone dead in my kitchen scales so I am having to eyeball my weights until I get to the shops tomorrow to buy a new one..

Hope you are all having a great weekend, only 11 days to go until we ALL recieve a mango...

Jeannie, when you're buying batteries for your scales, buy two, I always have a spare in the kitchen drawer.

I just wanted to chime in here and congratulate those who made the full challenge and earned their Dancing Mangoes!

Jeannie should be along soon to let you know how to add them to your Signature.

Just wanted to pop in to say IM AT GOAL!!! I just can't believe it. I got on the scale this morning and lost another kg...put me a bit below goal actually. I'm going to start refeed next week...I keep saying next week because its only Sunday here in the States...but it is already next week for you all. I'm still in shock about it. But I just wanted to thank everyone here for the support you have given me. Been a bit crazy with the traveling and such but I survived. It pays to be as prepared as possible if you need to travel. I was so worried about it all and obsessed on it...I did the best I could and it paid off. YEAH!!!

Thanks Jeannie for all you hard work on this challenge...it's a brilliant one.

Cindy

Cindy, wow you must be so excited. Congratulations.

Jeannie, you look great in the pic and I love the colour of the shirt....noice.

I'm out and I think it best to say I wont join anymore until I get my habits sorted out. Yesterday started with an extra cracker and then something small that I shouldn't have had. Not making excuses and not going to beat myself up.

CONGRATULATION'S

We are all so happy for you.. You are the one who succeeded and put in all the hard work and effort, it has certainly paid off..

You know you have to post a picture here soon, just to show us all and give some further inspiriation...

WELL DONE.. We are so proud of you too.....

Asy, I always leave the batteries for hubby to take care of because they are mostly rechargable ones and he has them EVERYWHERE ... However I got caught out yesterday so I will be buying a pair of them today.. Good tip and thanks.. I would have only bought one today otherwise..

Ez! Cheer up buddy, You are doing really well despite a few little setbacks.. just do a practise run from now until the 2 May until the next one starts..

I had a good day yesterday and do try Faithy's favourites people.. I had the beef stroganouff last night and it was "Great"..

Have a Great Day..

Great day yesterday, I do recommend Faithy's chowmein.. I used to cook something similar but with balsamic vinegar, I got sick of balsamic vinegar after awhile.. this recipe is the best.. I dont know whether it is because of the diet lemonade PLUS the Clive of India curry, but it is a sweeter version more like a sweet and sour.. It would be a recipe to keep always, while doing refeed and after add some pineapple like Faithy suggested.. Here is the link if you haven't seen the recipes http://newyouforum.com/smf/index.php?topic=1636.0

Hope you are all doing well..

Yep Asy I got my battery.. I forgot to get it in the supermarket and had to buy it in the petrol shop.. bummer it cost me $7.00 for ONE.. so I will get a spare today in the supermarket.. at least the petrol shop gave me an extra 2 cents a litre off my petrol because I bought something in the store.. You can probably tell I haven't bought batteries for a long time.. I nearly died when they told me how much.. also when I was walking out the door to go shopping, hubby yells out "Get 2 batteries so you have a spare".. Yeah I think I have heard that one before...

Ohh Trips do you like cauliflower now? Ok this is one of my favourites, chicken breast allowance, cut thinly like a schitnzel and you can also beat it thin too if you like, then spray with canola or whatever you use, then cover with crumbed cracker allowance. I like to sprinkle some garlic powder on mine before I spray it as well.. then you simply pan fry with spray.. only takes a few minutes because it is thin.. it is awesome and always turns out tender.. I like it on my vege allowance (cauliflower) mashed with mayo allowance... I crumb my crackers with a stab mixer.. only takes a few seconds and I also mince all my meat with it too.. Do try it I am sure you will love it.. If you dont like it with cauliflower just have it with a salad or veges..

Cheers

HOW TO ADD MANGOES TO YOUR SIG.

This is the Mango Code: 100% Cohens Challenge DEVIATION FREE: Then add the appropriate number of Mangoes.

Please note, you will need to remove the space from the end of the HTML Code brackets. So should really be . If you have trouble, let Jeannie or I know.

It should end up looking like this: 100% Cohens Challenge DEVIATION FREE:

Enjoy, oh mangofied ones.

asy

Here's a warning. Jeannie will be keeping an eye on things. Anyone found with Mangoes when they haven't been won, or with more mangoes than they're entitled to will have their ENTIRE signature deleted. The first time... After that... I'll probably get cross. .
