My mozzarella cheese was frozen and I was sooo hungry I just ate the cottage cheese and cukes. We are freezing here and they say it is going to be like this the whole week. Lucky you with 28!!

I am not really a soccer fan and did not watch the Confed cup but will definately watch the World Cup next year. At this stage our roads are in a mess as they are upgrading the main highways and we sit in traffic jams for hours. But once it is all done it will be fantastic!! Everyone is ready and excited so everything should go well.

I hope I reach my goal weight by then. I was soooo hungry yesterday and just wanted to eat everything in sight, but I did not. Was one of the few times that I craved chocolates (I am a self confessed chocolate freek) and also things like chips and hamburgers. But once I had supper I was okay.

Hey Roxy,

Look at you !! Just 200g from HALFWAY, safely out of that nasty "O" range, and just sounding so PUMPED !!!

If some radio station came by asking for "who inspires you?" I'd think you should answer "I do !!" (you might mention Doc Cohen too, but it is YOU who is giving yourself this gift - and WHAT a gift eh?)

Rock on, Roxy - halfway tomorrow (unless you sneezed, and then clipped your nails and cut your hair tonight - you might be there already !!)

I find now that I have to eat my viddles before even thinnking about going out and watching other people eat or drink-I tried it the other night and was ready to lick the table just to see if there was any flavor residue left on it. Keep warm!

Sorry Roxy but I must question the South African Math again, if week 4 you lost 8 and week 8 you lost 6 and week 12 you lost 4.2 in the northern hemisphere that adds up to 18.2 not 17.3, are you sure you're not cheating yourself? Hee hee whats up with that? Stay Warm!

Hi Koh and Cindy

Thank you so much for dropping into my diary and the very kind words. This is such a awesome forum and I visit it daily for inspiration from everyone. Cannot tell you how much this forum has helped me, I LOVE IT .

Thanks for pointing out the maths mistake carrianne, not a SA maths mistake but mine . I updated my weight but did not update my weight lost. I bought a new scale which now gives me an exact weight now .

Well, I survived a week in the mountains and did not deviate once. In fact I managed to lose 1.2kg. I am soooo proud of myself. I only have about 14kg to go and cannot wait for refeeding.

I have attached a photo that was taken last week. I look so much smaller now. If I look at photos of me before I started I look all bloated and just plain fat.

I have so much work to catch up since I was on leave last week. Chat again and hope everyone is staying strong!!!

Hi Everyone

Thanks so much for all the positive comments. Keeps a person focused and motivated . That is why I love this forum!! Nice to hear from fellow South Africans as well!!

I don't know why we take leave because when you come back you work so hard that you forget you were on leave .....anyway, have some time now to update my diary.

I am still going strong and I should be reaching the 70's in the next week or so.....yeah, cannot remember when last I was in the 70's.

Just want to check if we are allowed to drink the Chromium supplement. My clinic told me no, but I see everyone drinks it and it really helps me a lot for the cravings. I drink the one from Solgar.

My friend is turning 40 on Monday so next weekend we are having a huge party. I will post some photos with my new clothes .

Hope you all have a stunning Cohens weekend!!!! Chat again on Monday.

Hi Roxy,
Where in SA are you? Last week we had temperatures of 27, 28.
Now we are down again to 19, 20.
I agree, somehow it just feels more filling to have a warm tummy!!
I find that I've so far stuck to making soup type dishes. The fact that there is "more" of it (with the water) make me feel more full. But I agree with you, I am also loving the diet. It is so simple and easy to use.
Hope you enjoy the weekend

Hey Foxy Roxy,

Thanks so much for the post in my diary, iit cheered me up no end, and I think you should be given a promotion and a raise for having to put up with your boss. *Sigh.

I can remember when last I was in the 70's - around 14 years ago....man, I'm SO excited for you, and you're gonna knock 'em dead at the party. Naughty Forties...

And I decided to stay away from the chillies for a little bit.

Hope the weekend is fabulous, and stay warm

P.S. I am not nearly as funny as Carrieanne....she is hysterical, but thanks for making my day anyways.

Hi Everyone

Man, I love this forum.....sooo much inspiration and even if you fail, everyone still loves ya!!!!!

Hi Sweetie, I am in Pretoria and it is freezing up here. When you guys have warm weather then we freeze here in Pretoria and JHB. I live in Centrurion but work in Randburg. When I was very overweight I was never one to get cold, now I cannot seem to get warm. I cannot wait for the summer anymore and hope it comes sooner than later!!!

Well, bought a size 16 jeans, yeah!! Seem to be between a 18 and 16. Size 18's are far to big but size 16's are a bit tight still, but I suppose I have to wear pants so size 16 it is. My tops are now a size 14 - 16. I seem to be very "flabby" now, I think I may start with a few stretch exercises now just to see if it will help. Would now have to be all flabby and wobbly before the party was not like this about 2 weeks ago....but I am not complaining as it means I have lost more weight!!!!!

Things seem to be slowing down now as I only lost 0.9kg this week. It is also getting so much more difficult as a person nears goal weight. I had a hard time this weekend and just wanted to cheat....but I did not. I can so relate to SassyK and what she must be going through. She helped me realise that I must deal with the cause of being fat NOW than rather wait till maintenance and spiral out of control. What a brave, fantastic lady she is. She has been my inspiration since being on this forum and now what she sees as failure has helped me so much, and I am sure 1000's of others!!!!!

Don't worry Julie, I am very determined not to cheat at all. I am going to make chicken and mushrooms and take crackers, and when everyone eats at 06:30 then so will I. I will time my breakfast to coincide with the time we will be serving supper. I will also save my TAB for the evening and fill up on water. I want to finish this diet and reach refeed as soon as possible and if I cheat then I will just have to be on it longer!!!

I will post the party photos on Monday. Hope you all have a stunning Cohens week and stay strong!!!!
