The scales look as if there is no change, but the needle is on this side of the 64 mark and not on the other side, so there has been a drop but too small to show on the dial.

A small gain overnight of 100gms. No BM for a few days so that's what I'm putting it down to.

No movement either way on the scales this morning. Feeling very blah and bloated. Added some bran to my yoghurt and fruit ( a deviation I know but a necessary measure i feel) this a.m. so I hope that clears the way as the benefibre wasn't doing it.

Lonniecee,

Thank you. I'll be cheering for you all.

Now, please don't any of you take this the wrong way, but I would like to thank you all for allowing me to participate in this sprint and also for reinforcing some valuable lessons for me:

1. If you go 2kgs over goal weight, jump on it now, don't wait
2. The program works and if you jump back on after an indulgence, the 'new weight' will fall off quite rapidly compared to the 'old weight'
3. The maintenance guidelines work if I stick to them
4. Carbs, man made foods and lack of excercise are my enemies and these are my big demons to overcome.
5. Processed foods cause a resistance to water intake.
6. Once I have finished the program, from refeed and beyond, daily weighing is not optional, it is essential.
7. It is not only the daily weighing, it is not allowing the weight to creep on.

Even though I was still in maintenance mode, this sprint was good for me. It cleared away the Christmas excesses and prepped me for the year ahead. I do feel I was at advantage, given that I had started on 3 Jan rather than 7 Jan, but that also again reinforces lesson 1 for me, don't wait.

In many ways, people are watching for the weight that I will now put on, it's up to me to show them that I can successfully keep this off.

Again, thank you. You all wer my gurus when I was searching for help to finish the program. I feel honoured to have and sprinted beside you all, and most importantly, whipped the pants off Baloo and Peter!!

Goal 1: Under 80kg (done 4.5.13) Goal 2 - 75kg, Goal 3 Under 70kg, Goal 4 - normal BMI 65.8kg!! Goal 4 - final goal 65 - 62kg and start refeed

Congrats on reaching your goal but I'm not sure about declaring yourself the winner yet meagain.

You averaged 00.73% weight loss a day over the course of your weight loss. Let's wait and see how others finish. Average weight loss % per day is about the fairest way we can judge the winner seeing we're all different weights, different weights to lose and different times.

You're definitely beating me at 0.59% per day at the moment.

Haven't been 63 kilos since August, Weighed 67 kilos on New Years Day, so feeling very pleased and the loss of the 4 kilos can be seen. Oh! what a difference half a stone can make!!!

Up another 250 gm so up 500 since Friday morning.

While we are actually 'on the program', we simply cannot eat food which is not on the list.

If we are 'on the program' then we must be 'on the program'. There is no room for deviation as the metabolism is busy doing what it is meant to be doing: converting fat into blood sugar so that we can consume it.

If we start interfering with that processs - well, a bread roll won't really matter, or a bit of chocolate, or a bit of filling etc - then we are just kidding ourselves. It is the mindset which is more dangerous to our health than the food we eat. We can convince ourselves of anything.

However, I have had two days which reversed the progress of one week.

On wards I go.

By the way, 'Shout' was great! About 32 songs with such amazing dance routines, costumes, just a wonderful afternoon! Johnny O'Keefe was no saint but the Australian music industry, and in fact all of us in some way or another, owe him respect for the job he did in putting 'Down Under' Australia on the map.
