Hi Tuti,
Even though you didn't have as much to lose as others, you have done a great job.
Your hormones will be all sorted now and that will make it easier for you to keep to your goal weight.
Have a good day

Yes, Tuti, this forum is for anyone on Cohen's. You were smart enough to find it before you got as seriously overweight as most of us were

Another 500gs down this morning

I brought a new set of scales yesterday. One of those with body fat and hydration measurements. Body fat was 30.5 and hydrations was 50%. I wish I had one of these scales before I started to see how much body fat was. The scales weight is around 100gs different to my old ones so I will keep using my old ones for weight.

Cheers

How incredibly well you are doing, Tuti.

I have a set of those scales. Mine seem to be none too reliable. I use them as a general guide only, as they jump around a bit.

No Loss today but my body fat measurement was down from yesterday.

I tried my first cheese meal today. Mozarella, onion and tomato on a salada biscuit and I popped it under the grill and served with a small salad. Not bad.

Tomorrow is the start of our football/netball season. This year I am going to be prepared and obviously take my own food. I thought I might make some cauliflower and fetta soup that everyone raves about. I can make it in the morning and pop it into a thermos.

I will be staying as far away from the canteen as possible so I cannot smell those hot chips and dim sims.

Hope you all have a great weekend.

cheers
Tuti

Hi Ez,

I don't really know how it works but I think it takes the measurement from your feet probably by infrared light or something. I have used one of these at the gym once.

But it is interesting to see your body fat measurements go down I wish I had one at the start.

I noticed quite a few people on the forum had them and I think it was Megean who wrote her fat and water percentages while she was doing refeed and her body fat was going down.

You're doing really well, Tuti. Are you coming to the Geelong get together?

Those scales somehow use an electrical impulse, but you don't feel anything. I doubt that it's an exact science, but it's a guide.

Hi All,

No loss for me for a few day.

I just had a lunch that might become my favorite - Hamburgers . I used garlic powder and Sumac in the mince and fried onion, tomato and lettuce on a Salada biscuit. Might have this on the weekends.

I was at the local football and netball all day yesterday and found that I was really quite hungry. Everyone kept offering me lollies and chocolate biscuits Also the smell of the chips and hot food at the canteen smelt so good. It was a bit cold and it would have been so easy to have some hot chips or a sausage roll. I did go to the canteen but just to get a cup of hot water for my cup of tea

I was very good though and had my Cauliflower and fetta soup and crispbreads in the car so no one would question me.

At night we went to the club for a Crownies & Cruisers night. They had fried finger foods also. I just sipped a diet coke all night while everyone around me were enjoying their drinks. It will be good when I can just have a wine and not feel so out of it.

AJ I will try and come to the get-together in Geelong but with the football and lots of birthdays in April I might find it a little difficult. Thats why I haven't replied to that thread.

You're doing so well, Tuti. That lunch sounds delicious. I have the Pizza for lunch on Saturdays, and feta and cauliflower soup on Sunday evenings as my weekend treats.

I am now into Week six - gee doesn't time fly.

Down 400gs today to 60.8. I probably haven't been this weight in at least 15 years.

All my clothes are loose now even the new jeans I bought. I only brought them two weeks ago!

Gotta love this diet.

Hi shell,

Yes it is exciting but I feel a little anxoius as well, mainly about life after refeed.

As I said I have had my refeed menu for nearly two weeks now so I have had a good chance to go over it.

I think if you have stuck to the weight loss stage 100% the refeed is not a real problem.

I put my goal weight down at 58 but the Cohens range was 56-59. I think I might try for the 56 mark. I haven't weighed myself for a few days because I have been away but I am feeling really good and not really hungry.

I have spent the last two days moving a house full of furniture into storage with my husband. I thought I would be stuffed but I had plenty of energy which surprised me because we were lifting heavy furniture and did not stop for the whole two days. I thought I might be extra hungry but I wasn't. It will be interesting to see if I lost any weight tomorrow.

Good luck with eating all that food on your refeed I don't know how we will manage the last few days..

Cheers

Tuti

Down 800gms this morning 60kgs on the knocker

I was extremely busy the last couple of days and wondered whether it would affect my weight loss but obviously not.

My goal was hoping to get to 60.3 by my birthday but I am ahead of that goal.

I think I have got another two weeks to get to 58 kilos (I seem to lose around a kilo a week on average).

I'll have to ask my consultant if this will affect my refeed because I would have had it for four weeks by then.

Cheers

Tuti
