Hi Maria,

It will be good to keep in contact when we both hit refeed, can't wait until then. I am so excited about being in the 70's have not been there in about 20 years, it will be nice to hit them again.

Thanks

Talking of "keep on going", I've just noticed you have ACED that long "second third" of the journey, so now you are into the "sliding down to goal" part where every Kg lost seems to make SO much more difference !!

It's an exciting time, PL - live the excitement, and keep the credit card at the ready - as you'll be dropping sizes like they're going out of style !!

And THIS celebration (the 70's) is the lead-in to that time, so

Go hard, girl - you are rocking There are size 12's out there with your name on them, and with 10's to follow.....

Hi Guys,

Today was the day that it really hit me how much weight i have lost, i have been still wearing clothes that are too big, but i did not realise how much to big. I have only been buying enough clothes to get by, as i spend most time in my work uniform (which is to big). It takes a bit to get your head around the size that i am now.

I am going away for a girls weekend next week and really had nothing to wear. I have a friend that sells Undercover Wear and I have bought some of her old stock to take with me, but it was a bit of a shock when i saw myself in clothes that fit and what size that i really am, i was wearing size 12 pants and tops i was in tears.

Even thought it is a bit shock to see the new body under the clothes it was a really nice shock and can not wait to see it when i get to my goal weight.

Thanks

Purple Lady

Hi PL,

Woohoo !!! Good on you !! Size 12's already......

In case you missed it, here's a thread I love - and I'm sure it holds the key to "staying uplifted on the journey" - Pandora makes a lot of sense with this one:-

Enjoy - then break out that credit card

HI Purplelady,

Been a while since I have been in your diary so just popped in to see how you are going. Well did I get a shock - you are on the homeward stretch.

Well done - you are powering beautiful woman. Sounds like great advice Koh is giving. Think seeing the results in our clothes is so motivating and also helps us to adjust to the new body before we get to maintenance.
Size 12 - wonderful!! Bet you look hot.

Blessings
Shanara

Morning Everyone,

I have found it really funny how some people react to my weight loss, most people are really happy for you and surprised if they have not seen you for a while, and then you get the ones that don't say anything at all, i mean i have lost 40kgs it's had not to miss that fact when you see me.

I don't mind that they don't say anything because i know what i have acheived and am proud of myself for doing it.

I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them and what they thought might be the reason, i was thinking that it might be a bit of jealously.

Have a great day!!!!

Cheers
Purple Lady

Hi PL,
It's been awhile since I've visited so thought I better have a look today and boy was I pleasantly surprised. What an understatement. 40kgs gone. Wahoo!!!!

On the subject of people not saying anything is very tricky. some people (mostly some men)find it hard to comment, you know the tricky subject of women's weight and size but then others are jealous and don't want to have someone now who is the same size or smaller than them now and doesn't make them look really good cause you are now the Hottie!

don't worry about those people you know how good you look and after another 12kg's the world's your oyster.

Michele

Heya Purple Lady, don't fret that some people may not have commented but certainly you would notice that they would have taken a 2nd look...and for all you know, they are not commenting because they simply can't recognise the new you! Hahaha...way to go and 40kgs...simply AMAZING!!!!

Morning,

I am going for a glamour photo shoot tomorrow, i entered in a comp about a month ago and i got a phone call that said i won YEAH.

I don't usually don't enter things like that because i was always worried about my weight, but i thought it might be a good way to celebrate my weight loss if i won. It would have been good if i had been at my goal weight but i am pretty happy with where i am now so it will be all good. It should be fun.

Have a great day
Purple Lady

Of course, you just KNOW we want to see the results

Good on you - just enjoy putting yourself in front of a camera - no need to hide now, is there?

You will be so thrilled with those photos! Keith and I had some done for Christmas, and it was then that I truly realised how much weight I had lost!
You have done and are doing so incredibly well! Stand proud, pretty lady!

Hi Guys,

I am feeling a bit annoyed at the moment as the scales seem to have stopped moving in the the downward direction, i don't seem to be losing the weight as quickly as i have done already and it is really starting to get to me.

I don't have to worry about TOM anymore as i have had all that taken out over 12 months ago so i can't blame that. I can see that the end is near and was really excited to be nearly there but then i seem to have slowed down.

Sorry that you had to read my little rant and rave but i feel a bit better now that I have written it down.

Thanks and have a great day,

Purple Lady

Hey there PL

I sure can relate to how you feel. My weigh lose has really slowed down. I'm feeling so close but miles away. To start with I thought it was a plateau but now I'm not too sure.... it has taken me 6 weeks to loose what I have previously lost in 4

I made my husband hide the scales, because I have been jumping on them everyday hoping for a good lose. But alas NO I have decided not to weigh until after my next blood test (3 weeks).

I guess we both need to stay strong at this time and let our bodies to do the job.... hmm patience

Keep up the good work !!!!!
