What a fab loss for the week!
Awesome work, Jenny! Gotta be happy with that!
It's so wonderful when we can fit into those much smaller sizes. It seems impossible to conceive the idea when we start out, but before you know it, you've shrunk enough to be wearing them!
Keep going strong!!

Vee

Default WEEK 15

Another hectic week....my weeks will probably be getting increasingly busy as christmas rolls on.
Had a 1.8kg loss this week getting me down to 96kg I think at last check was down around 90 odd cms gone for good!!!!!!

Heaps of people are noticing my weight loss now and some are already saying "your fading away" "geez your a little slim thing these days" all really nice comments yet I think I have a another 26odd kilos to go.....and when they here that they go on and on about me being way to little at that weight. I am gearing up to be tough and ignore them and do what is right for me and the program. 70kg is the top end of my weight range and I think I will feel comfortable there, but only time will tell.

Definately in the 18's now and some of them area bit loose, I think there is a huge difference in sizing when you are an 18 from shop to shop. I have a heap of hand me down jeans from my sister that are 18's and most from target.....some fit me some don't...

One of my clients yesterday was thinking I was wearing 14-16's when I told her that they were 18's she didn't believe me....I told her I AM tall and I am a very good dresser for my size and can hide lots of the bad bits....But still nice to think that she thought I was that small.....if only they could see what I see when naked..

Might sneek in a nanna nap today woke up really early...Mr Snory aka Hubby woke me and I couldn't go back to sleep...plus am always excited about weigh day!!!!!

Hope you all have a great week

I know!! it's so annoying isn't it! I wear alot of target clothes aswell and atm am wearing mostly 16's but have a bunch of 16 things that don't fit... whats the story with that? lol

You would have completely sympathised with me last night when my step mum was insisting I was a size 12, and I was saying, no I'm not - so do you know what she did? Made me show her the tag of my jeans... in the middle of the restaurant!! She only left me alone when I told her she didn't have to see me naked

It's a great feeling to be in "the zone" - keep up the fantastic work... you will be at goal in no time flat!!

Jenny, you've lost almost as much as me in about half the time. Well done.

Your ticker doesn't show your BMI. The problem today is that almost everyone is overweight, and they think we should be too. I replied that I was still overweight according to my BMI when they thought I was too thin. I'm a lot thinner now, but still in the top half of normal and definitely not underweight, especially around the hips.

With luck, I'll be able to eat what I want at the wedding and not have to worry about deviations. It was bothering me as I was torn between not wanting to deviate and wanting to be normal and enjoy the wedding (and not disappoint the bridal couple).

Back again to do it all over again, starting from exactly the same weight as last time.
My health is not good and my doctor is predicting all sorts of nasty things if I don't lose weight.
What else do I do? I help people make money and I help people save money. Please take a look at http://www.acnlinks.clancie.com.au/
Back again for the support. Still think the diet and the forum are the best ever, but too old to do it again. Now losing again slowly on maintenance diet. Ticker shows next intermediate goal only (5 kilos).

Wow Jenny, you have done so well! So cool you are so close on my heals!! You have done it in a lot shorter time than me! Awesome work! You deserve lots of cheers and a big pat on the back!

You will hear a great deal from others of their opinions, and remember, that is all that they are. Opinions! You just do what is right for you!

The shrinking in sizes is a great feeling too! it just can't be replaced with anything!

Keep going strong and I expect you will be overtaking me in no time with your losses!

Frustrating with the sizes Jenni, isnt it.
You have done amazingly well, so much weight in such a short time, no wonder the compliments are coming thick and fast....enjoy them.

36 odd kg in three half months....you should be so proud.
Go girl
Happy days

hi Jenni
Thought i would pop in and say hello - thanks for visiting my diary.

I am soooo inspired by your weight loss, and so quickly - although I suppose it still feels like a long time for you. I would not have believed your loss was possible a few weeks ago. Well Done - your a star!

Know what you mean about the range of sizes in one clothing size .....and i think its worse in the goddess sizes than the little sizes.

Jenni - I think dealing with peoples comments is part of the journey of reclaiming our power and listening to our own inner voice - not everyone else's ...good on you for listening to your own voice.

Blessings
Shanara

Default WEEK 16

Hi everyone, Thanks to everyone who popped in this week

4 months on cohens....who would have thought....each week weigh day amazes me. This week I have lost 2.1 kg.....crazy I know but I'm not complaining. When your 100% it really shows and obviously something about cohens really really agrees with my body.....and I think I know what it is (drumroll.....) NO CARBS

Well I guess thats the story for most people but I know that was my vice in my previous life of obesity......bread here....pie here....pasta..........you know how it goes.

Well I guess in refeed and in maintenance is they only true way of telling.I am getting excited about getting to refeed....just a little while ago I was thinking it was so far away and that losing 60kg was going to be impossible.....but with cohens you can do it

Another busy week at work and the compliments were rolling in and I honestly don't know how to take it all.......I am of course thanking everyone, but they keep going on with...you look so lovely.....so much younger....it really is hard to take as I am so used to blending into the crowd and not having so much attention on just me. Of course it keeps my motivation going but it is all a little weird being the centre of attention especially in the salon.

Bought some new shoes yesterday....I have gone down a size very exciting. I just feel my feet aren't as puffy, I have old ankle injuries which have always held fluid around them especially after a day at work. But they are definately less puffy!!!!!

Thanks again to you all for your words of encouragement and support it really makes my day to read your posts

Till next time have a great 100% Cohens week

I know how you feel about all the comments and feeling a bit like the main attraction!! I guess it's time you just learnt to go with a smile and a "thank you"!
It goes a really long way!

Congrats on the difference in the BMI, you are almost into the just overweight category and out of the obese one!! Wooo hooooooo.....
I find that exciting too, when I looked at mine!

Well done on another 2+ kg loss for last week! That is great that it keeps dropping so well!

Yes, thinking about getting to refeed and the end being in sight is exciting too, I know I'm feeling it!

Keep going well!

Vee

Jenny, I had been avoiding carbs for a number of years pre Cohen's, and when I didn't the weight went on. Now on refeed, I'm eating five pieces of fruit, three slices of bread and most recently a small serve of other carb food and I'm suffering no ill effects and my weight has been pretty much the same for the past ten days. You may find that carbs aren't really the problem in themselves, but you may need to avoid the ones with little food value.

You really do blow me away! I'm so impressed with everything that you've achieved. My losses are a lot slower than yours, but whenever I think that I can't do it, I read your diary and realise that it's possible and realistic to reach for the stars!

Default WEEK 17

Another 1.5kg gone for week 17 Have been interested in weighing myself daily to see how my weight fluctuates etc. I don't change my ticker till Sunday when it official weigh day!!!! This week was a slow start to the week and then came home strong to get me the 1.5kg loss.

Has been a stressful week this week, my hubby got laid off his job. They blamed the economy and not enough work.....I don't know I think it was all a bit sly....no notice and effective immediately. Lucky he was paid his two weeks notice and holidays etc.....I would have been ropeable otherwise. He was thinking about leaving so I guess they did him a favour except it would be nice to have a job to go to. He won't have to much trouble welders are in fairly high demand.....fingers crossed.

On a happier note some of my 18's are getting a bit loose but the 16's are a bit tight....ahh limbo land gotta love it!!!!!!

I am only 100g off loosing 40kg But no BM today so maybe tomorrow it will be gone!!!!! It still spins me out to say I have lost 40kg, one of my staff said to me "you know what your doing is like biggest loser stuff you know" funny I laughed and I haven't run four million miles on a
treadmill Still I used to watch that show and think my god how am I going to loose that much and now I am 20kg away from losing 60kg AMAZING!!!!

Still getting the you'll be to thin comments from clients when I tell them I have 20kg to go.....since I got my BMI on my ticker ( thanks AJ) I have been telling people I am still obese according to that so HUH!!!

Thanks to everyone for visiting AJ, Shanara, Vee and Mette you are all just lovely and your journeys are just as inspirational to me!!!!!

Have a great week.....may need to post tomorrow if that 100g is gone .....will need to have a minus 40kg party and photo shoot!!!!!

Wow Jenny, there is no stopping you! Congrats on almost being at 40kg loss, and only in 4 months (20 or so weeks)!! That is fab work. With 40kgs off you must be noticing huge differences now. And you're almost into your size 16s. It's awfully exciting.

Giving you a friendly shove down the scale and into the 'overweight' BMI range!
Have you posted any updated pics this far into your journey? I think you would look VERY different!

Default Minus 40kg forever!!!!!!!!

Well after a quite start for the week on the scales (like last week) finally this morning I am 40.2kg lighter yeh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very happy bout this and now 2.2 kg away from being a 80's girl Bring it on!!!!!!!!!!

Will try get hubby to get some pics tonight.

Oh and my hubby got a new job he starts today....he is working for one of the biggest trailer builders in Australia....he is so nervous. He really struggles with believing in himself when it comes to his skills at work but he had to do a weld test to get the job so he must be doing something right. So fingers crossed it goes well for him.

Have a great rest of week and I will change my ticker on Sunday when I weigh in for the week.
