I'd love to join from today also, I've had a great day today and when I'm given a challenge, especially such a positive challenge, I just have to prove to myself I can do it. Heres to my 1st 10day deviation free challenge!

Great Stuff Magenta! You will be there in no time.. I was rewarding myself a smiley face recently on the calander to see how long I could go with a row full of smiley stickers.. (I put a little pig or cow sticker up if I deviated).. Hmm must do it again..

Love your posters, great thinking!

Hi all, and welcome to new deviation members!

Thanks for my 'trophies' Jeannie!

My shops were full of marked down easter goodies as well, but like Stephanately, I walked straight past them (also with a glance) LOL! I think we can't help but look!

Good luck to everyone, wishing you the needed strength to remain DF for the next 10 day stretch!!

Vee

Hello everyone...Hope you are all doing well on your 2nd - 10 days of DF living...and for those of you just starting or starting again...good luck and hope to see dancing fruit next to your names soon.

Jeannie...my plan is to stay DF for my entire trip and beyond. I realized that I am going to be able to cook all my meals. We are going to be at my uncles house during the day and the hotel at night. So everyday I can cook my food and bring my dinners to the hotel and heat them up in the micro. YEAH!!!

I will have my computer with me so I will be checking in and letting you know my progress.

Good luck everyone.

Cindy

Sorry for the late checkin this week Jeannie, after my weekend at the Stamford Grand! I actually let myself lighten up over the weekend as we were eating out all the time! So no dancing banana and mango for me! I was "experimenting" with what i could and should NOT eat etc. Remember, i can do this now as i am around my cohen goal AND beyond refeed so this is NOT advisable behaviour!

I gained 3kg but lost 1.8kg overnight (got back Tues) as i went straight to 100% cohens etc so back to a very comfortable 52.4kg today. Hubby and i havent been away for a 4 night 5 star hotel break for years and might not repeat again soon so i relaxed a bit around food and wine. Still had eggs and tomato with half slice if toast for brekkie, grilled fish (only) for lunch and sushi or chicken salad type meals at night, baked cheesecake once, two glasses of wine in the evenings. Also had some dark chocolate but only a few squares. Why mention "the menu"? My tastes and eating habits have changed now through cohens, i no longer crave the hot chips and wedges, battered fish etc - this program is magic and its truly possible to stay slim for life! Well down all you wonderful 100% ers!

AWWww Ez, you may feel "Out" but you are not down, hop back up! tomorrow is another day.. Never feel ashamed you have done a marvellous job.. I will start with you..

Pandora did you go to the "Haig's" chocolate shop just down the road from the Stanford.. My DIL just luvs the dark chocki frogs.. I get her a pk of 10 for a treat occassionally.. Anyway think of the Dancing Mango and Groovy Banana as a little treat for your WHOLE time on the program and getting to goal ....

Cindy you are just toooooo good! Have a great holiday and looking forward to some holiday snaps.. You are almost a sixties chick.. but boy the scales are being stubborn, they just dont want to let you go from the seventies..

Well done everyone and a big

Jeannie - I"m off the list from the 17th - start me up again from Wednesday 26th - Easter involved 4 days of hard manual labour and eventually I was physically
knocked up and hungry and was weak!! Got back into it now and have blood test soon so have to be deviation free. So hopefully I'll be there next week.
I'm very glad Easter has finished - too many temptations.

I still feel this forum is keeping me in line - unfortunately I haven't been near a PC all week.

Keep going to everyone else - well done to the first lot of DF Mango lovers!!

Robbie

No worries Jules, glad to have you on board.. I honestly don't have time to read everything so I understand how you would have stumbled across this.. I haven't read any diaries for awhile apart from Ez's last night because she said to in her post here. I need to be more active and get some overdue projects started, so I have not been on the computer as much. I am not ignoring anyone if I haven't posted in your diaries.. I just simply dont have the time.. I will update the list now..

Jules just let me know if your friend wants to join, and

I will restart you too Robbie.. Easter was hard but full credit for trying.

I'm out for the running, was soo light headed lfor the last 2 days that last night that i ate half my hubby's dinner. Felt so horrid and so dizzy.. I'm sorry, feel so horrid. I spoke to my GP (thank god hes in my fam so readily contactable), and he recommended waiting a day or two before going back on Cohen's. He recommended eating a normal but healthy diet for 1 or 2 days for him to make sure the dizziness isn't due to anything else. I really need to get back on Cohen's, so badly want to loose my last 10 kgs and get to my goal weight and feel happy... sigh...

Awwwww Jeannie, thanks!! You're such a lovely soul!

I'm still travelling along good, DF and I'm happy with how I'm going. I reckon this forum has a lot to do with me being able to stay strong and DF, so thanks to you all!!

Good luck to the new people joining the challenge, and Ez, don't be so hard on yourself. You wouldn't beat your best friend up because she slipped up, so why do it to yourself! As Jeannie says, tomorrow is a new day, a new beginning. You will get there eventually! (I did read your diary, just haven't posted much due to very slow internet at the moment - used up download quota hmmmrrrrfff!!!) Big pats on the back to you all for doing so well!

Catch up in a few days when I have 'normal' speed internet again!

Vee

I can't believe I am going to say this...after all my preparation for my holiday...I DEVIATED!!! I had 2 oz of red wine on Friday night So I screwed up my 2nd 10 days. However I have been deviation free since...So I will have to start my 2nd 10 days starting again on Saturday.

Now...with all that said...I am finally a 60's girl. I can't believe it. FINALLY!!!

Hope everyone is well and thanks Jeannie for all your hard work on this challenge.

Cindy
