Re: mcpsych's diary
anew guide to rational living by albert ellis
was the primary resource i used with clients during 30 odd ( some say very odd hehe) years of private psychology practice and in addictions work. If you do the homework life will change i can tell you that ellis literally saved my life ( rational emotive therapy) i will not let anyone else drive my bus cheers and good reading , good mental health mark

Re: mcpsych's diary
Well done Mark - not such a FB anymore are ya?
We were always taught not to chew gum cos your body can't digest it. Probably an old wives tale/ load of BS |

Re: mcpsych's diary
thats why it makes you feel full all afternoon hehe
modern gum is completely biodegradeable- not like the stuff in the old wives days

Re: mcpsych's diary
Isn't it a brilliant sensation when you go into a shop with no idea what size you actually are, only to give yourself a little shock when you find out how much smaller you are than last time? That feeling never gets old!
I dunno about chewing gum, I reckon it makes me hungry because I am chewing and chewing and my stomach is expecting food and then nothing happens, so it rebels and then gets all disappointed, just a theory, any thoughts.
