Wow, I slept 14 hours. My first week back at work was quite exhausting.

I am still on track, no probs this side of the planet and counting the sleeps till 23rd April that is my last day of CD contract. I am more focused now that I don't want to extend and I really want to lose these last 17 kilos.

I updated my photo album with weekly shots. I am still not photogenic, unlike my kids. But it is a nice positive picture specially where you can see the difference and not just feel it.

My husband saw me this morning sleeping without blankets (as it is hot in Perth) and when he kissed me good bye said "look how beautiful skinny you are... I can see you hip bones and ribcage." I was dumbstruck. He never ever says anything nice about my weight. Ever. Thank you Doctor Cohen.

You enjoy your weekend. I am spending my time this weekend with domestic chores and reading.

Hi Eeee, you look amazing , seriously amazing what a wonderful transformation your going through, I can see why your husband is falling in love with you all over again, I have heard from a friend of mine who's partner lost a lot of weight on Cohen's it was like she was sleeping next to a deferent person.

So 23 April, is 10 weeks and a few days away, you need to get damn close to a 15 kg loss, 1.5 kg average a week or use the old ace up the sleave if your struggling to make it and convince your consultant your ready , and get that contract out of her

All the best lovely your doing fantastic. At the end of the day when we where large we would pay any sum of money to be the dream size and your doing it

Vitamin C, B vitamins such as Biotin (Vitamin B7 or Vitamin H) and Niacin (Vitamin B3) have been shown to be essential for hair growth.

I add ( probably too much ) stevia, but the green tea thing really doesn't do it for me. Love ice cold water starting to like it more than my beloved diet coke.

A good twist I find with tea is to add ground cinnamon , Love the stuff, or chines 5 spice.

Hi E,
I have just had a look at your progress photos and the changes are fantastic!! I love the colour reversal of your first and last photo... In the first one you're white top and black pants - then in the skinny photo you've reversed the colours - just as you have reversed your life!!! Very symbolic.

Hellllllo 70’s!!

Very exciting to see that number on the scale. It has been 2 decades when I last saw a 79 on my scale. I am stoked.

During the week I was on my way to the fitting room when I found something new for the office. All excited, took a size 12 and smiled. Well I was in for a surprise when it did not fit! I had to go back and take a size 10!! WOO HOO!! A SIZE 10!

Never ever in my entire life and wildest dreams have I even looked at a size 10. I am speechless. And if somebody tells me to never ever eat sugar or carbs again, just to look like that in a size 10, I will oblige with a smile and a bow.

I did however change meals around, less tomato, more squash. Less fruit, less crackers the past 4 days. I am not sure if this has contributed to my great loss the past week, but I will keep it up and steam ahead till I reach goal.

My new life motto: I have ONE chance to reach goal and to maintain the new me, and I am taking it. Thank you Dr. Cohen.

Well done E! You're doing amazing and looking even better! It's been a long and tough road, but you've been following it with grace and determination and it's paying off!

Good luck for the last few, I'm still crossing fingers that you'll make it without having to extend, but either way it'll be worth it - cause you're worth it! Xxx

I have made bad choices in life and I have made good choices in life. But one of my best choices was to change my lifestyle, living the Cohen dream.

Today marks 20 weeks into my lifestyle change. I had so many opportunities where I hosted great social events over the past 5 months and deviation was not a choice. I never felt deprived in any way, having my clean food ready and prepared. I never felt so content with myself knowing that I don’t eat those foods any more. It is no longer part of me. I made a 180 degree turnaround change for the better and there is not a day I don’t get compliments. This motivates me more and drives me more to stick to my new eating habits.

I also had my monthly visit at the clinic with my consultant this morning and she is very pleased to see my transformation.

I experimented a lot the past 3 weeks and found that feta cheese is so not for weight loss. The weight stands still for 3 days if I consume any feta. But if I have any other cheese (ricotta/mozzarella/cottage) it works for me. There was a time where I had yoghurt for dinner and it seems to speed up nothing. But if I have meal 1 in the mornings, weight shifts faster instead of having yoghurt at night time. What I also found was if I stick to my full allowance of fruit and crackers, I lose more weight than trying less crackers and/or less fruit.

I found that if I have my dinner earlier, I lose more weight overnight but it is not always possible for a full time working mum and house maker.

Unfortunately for me, I had to cut my hair short. There is just nothing that will prevent the hair from falling out during the rapid weight loss and I decided I will cope with this once I have reached goal. Between the cat and me, the floor, kitchen counter and bathrooms always have hair. There was a time I had vacuum phobia!

Work is just extremely busy at this stage and hopefully will settle down soon so I can read more diaries. I thoroughly enjoy the refeed and maintenance diaries, even if I don’t post all the time, I am here peeping at your daily feedback.

Motto: Love living the Cohen’s Dream
