Hi SlimLiz - yes mum land is very good. Congrats to you on your great progress and hope you're starting to feel great on Cohens.

And thanks Winghama - I'm thrilled at result. Lovely of you guys to visit my diary. I'll pop into to visit you soon too.

I am having a hard day though. Don't know what's kicked it off. I might have had a bit much fruit maybe. Yesterday I stuck to Cohens 100% as always. The only diff. is that I had beef last night and also lunch time to stock up on the old iron. Can't see that would trigger hunger, but who knows.

Oh well, I'm off to drink some water, count the minutes to dinner and maybe early to bed and hope tomorrow is a bit easier.

Yay got my Panda back. I am crook today - all over, and can't do anything except flop on the sofa. I've been on antibiotics (last day today) . Good news is that it'll be all over for winter, and I don't much feel like eating. One more day for week 2 measure on Axis 6 week challenge. Maybe if I sweat enough I'll get to my next goal of 100kg. It just takes a good fever to get you over these bumps, that's my philosophy. (you see, I'm hysterical).

I am now close to my weight as it was for a few years until two years ago when I started taking some medication that really loaded it on. I feel good about that, and even better, I don't have to shop as I'm fitting into those clothes again.

For most of my adult life, I've hovered around 82-90kgs and as I'm tall, that's been fine. So reaching that weight will be fantastic. Even when I was pregnant I was about 95kgs, so it's alarming to think I've been walking around for the past year as I would feel if I was 9 months pregnant, carrying a full suitcase to travel overseas. Imagine lugging that around everywhere.

In fact, that's what I've lost already in the last 9 weeks - almost 20 kgs which is a suitcase full of luggage. Now that's a mind bender.

Thanks Mumandnana. 2nd dose of antibiotics but I'm sure I'm turning corner today. Older daughter off with injury and little one got a bad cold - I think it'll be a dvd weekend for us all.

Didn't lose the other 0.3kg but doesn't matter - hopefully I'll bust that next goal next week. I'm d-free so it'll all be fine.

Thanks for visiting and have a good day and don't forget to enjoy all your fruit allowance. I've been loving pink ladies recently - so yummy and substantial, and half of one is really satisfying. I try cutting it up in different ways - going for thin slivers at the moment and laying them all around a plate - looks like masses of fruit!

I am SO hungry today. Maybe it's the antibiotics? If we had wallpaper I'd eat it! I think I'll be having an extra large apple this afternoon. Yikes. Pre-meditated deviation.

Maybe it is the change to more wintery weather? The body responding to the cold? I found that cooking my apple with a little bit of cinnamon and having it on my yogurt in the morning has helped with relieving the hunger a bit - warm food is what I crave when the weather is SO cold! Also I have been having hot or warm water so that I don't get too chilled.

Thanks McPsych and Volte, I've lost a bag of chook food - what an achievement - thanks for pointing that out! Yes, 20kg is a lot and I'm so pleased. I'm sure it will slow down when my weight gets a bit lower, but just enjoying the journey at the moment.

The cinammon sounds like a good idea - if I ever catch up on my apple allowance I'll try that (tee hee). I LOVE cinnamon.

Thanks and have a lovely Cohens day.

Yes, change of season in Sydney (especially this one) is HORRIBLE. All the kids get sick and it pretty well lasts all term. This term last year we had swine flu and more than 50% of the kids and teachers were off. I don't think it's anything to do with Cohens.

And I had a sneaky weigh in this morning (tsk tsk) because I didn't get to eat all my lunch yesterday on the run and wanted to check on my deviation. AND I"VE CRACKED my 2nd goal. Whooo hooo! That's cheered me up.

Hi Panda,

Wow, look at you GO !!!

Smashed through that last goal, and now you're within spitting distance of HALFWAY (just 3Kg for that), almost immediately followed by "Bye, bye, Obese - forever!"

You're a tall girl, so it takes a little more to shrink one BMI number than most - but somewhere between 1 and 2 Kgs after halfway, that's another milestone BEHIND you !!

Rock on, little Panda, you're doing fine !!

Hugs,

Koh

And me? I'm a tall skinny-ish bloke (BMI ~25.5) and have been this way forever, so I haven't faced (weight-wise) what you all have !!

Hi Panda
Well look at you - you go girl. If you like apple have you tried cutting apple into small pieces splashing with Diet Sprite and 2mins in microwave then sprinkle with cinnamion. Yummmmm. It is nice to have a hot sweet on a cold night.

Thanks Gottogo I'll try that - and Mumandnana - love the jumping beans. That's how I feel! I'm sure this will get a bit harder when my weight is lower, but right now I am so motivated by the losses. What's best is being able to fit some of my fav clothes again just in time for winter. Have a lovely day gals.
