Adding Tickers To Your Signature.

Alrighty!!! I can't stand not helping! So I'm helping! haha

I just did a test ticker...

When you choose what you're going to copy to paste into the sig choose the first one that says:
bbCode:
(Message Boards code, FertilityFriend.com's boards, phpBB based boards, Invision Power Board, vBulletin...)

Give it a shot and let me know! I am on a mission as of right now!! haha

Thats the one Ive been doing.
first I copied the whole thing it then showed the URL at the top that we discussed yesterday. I deleted that bit in the edit feature. no matter weather I copy the whole thing or just the bit minus the URL I dont get the hand as the curser.
when I hover over yours I get the hand. I noticed Ridemums is like mine. With the URL at the top still??

Let's not get too fussed about that URL, we should just try and get it to work.

That is me purely selecting the code I mentioned... That url above the ticker is part of the picture.

I have a ticker, actually I've created about 5 of them trying to get it right. Mine still doesnt give you the hand curser, so I cant click on it. I've spent hours trying to sort it out??? Thanks to Lil_doll for all your suggestions....
So I still cant update. I have saved to my desktop the page where you go to do updates and I will have to do it that way unless anyone is able to help??
I've never used a blog before so it's all new. The ticker seems to be my only problem AMT, I think I have the rest sorted

It really should work, Chicki!!!

I did it as that example one, and it's perfect.

You really just have to start from scratch.

Go to your signature and delete EVERYTHING.

Then go to your ticker webpage... and sign in, make sure all details are right, and chlick 'next' etc until you get to the codes and choose that "bb one"

It looks like this:

(I have had to put a spaces here and there so it wouldn't show as a a ticker. When you copy and paste yours into your signature makes sure it looks EXACTLY like what I just posted but with no spaces. There is no way it can't work.

Alternatively, copy and post your bb code in here, and do what I did and put a space here and there so I can have a look.

I am damn determined now! hahaha.

Just for arguments sake, I will post the bb code again and not put the spaces so you can see it really does work.





Also... Make sure when you delete everything in your signature and then start afresh, be sure to SAVE the signature.

well the first [ is missing... other than I can't really see, seeing as the ticker image is still there!

I don't see how it can be your computer... Nothing should go wrong... Make sure everything is selected when you copy and paste.

I have another idea... I can make you a ticker.





Obviously none of the info is right.

Now copy this whole wall of text:

Paste it into your signature, and then go and delete the spaces I made. There is one after the first [ and one after one on the next line down before the img
and the last one just before the very last ]

Then press save signature. You should then be able to click the link on it and go and change all the details... The password is (I PM'd it!)
