Hi there

Well do i feel REVOLTING......

Due to a complete lack of time to prepare for a weekend away - I have not eaten one thing cohens this weekend - and have hardly drunk any water. YUK YUK YUK....

I even ate a hot dog and coke for lunch because that was literally all that was available - I was in the middle of the bush at a mountain bike race.

It is actually a good thing though because it reminds me how much better I feel when I eat well and have enough water to drink.

We also went and saw Phantom of the Opera last night and I wore for the first time in so many years - a little black shoe string strap dress and high heels - must admit I thought I was a little overdressed when we arrived last night at the bike race.

Have a great night - tomorrow the countdown heads into the 50's days and I will feel better once I drink some water, and I am so having a cohens dinner tonight/

Cheers
Sharon

Well, I certainly hope I feel revolting when I eat non-Cohen after I finish, Sharon. Sounds like a great way to stay at goal

You did make yourself sound glamorous for your night out. You must have looked wonderful.

Nope, go for your life. You can use as much space in your thread as you like. I only get cranky about space on signatures, not so much threads...

Good luck with the surgery.

So great to share in your excitement Sharon! As for me, i am still contemplating posting BEFORE photos of my wee bit of jelly belly - just not sure if it would be a useful experiment. I have gained 3kg all straight to my middle BUT in a strange way i believe i look better for it! I am still within my cohen goal range at 54kg today.

Anyway, what do you (or anyone else!!!) think of my idea. It is to post belly photos NOW and then do a 6 weeks intensive exercise and healthy eating program and see what AFTER results i can get in 6 weeks. I know i talked about it before, even sought help at my local gym, but now i am taking control BACK to me and no longer following the gym food person's advice. Of course after 6 weeks, i can go for 12 weeks etc and see where it gets me in say 6 months! I am just not sure if it is of interest to others concerned about the jelly belly factor etc! Maybe i should copy this over into my beyond refeed diary and see if there is any response there too! If YES, I will post the BEFORE (as in NOW) photos this evening. Lots of love to you Sharon and your dream come true 59 days countdown! Pandora

Hey Pandora

I don't think there would be a single person on here who is not interested in an experiment with a view to how our jelly belly reacts.

Post the piccs - I'll be checking them out and will watch with interest how you go over the weeks. As soon as I can get my camera to work I'm going to post the pre surgery belly (not boobs - sorry boys) snapshots.

Have a great afternoon - thanks as always for your support Pandora

Well I feel much better tonight......

It is a wonderful thing that you learn to listen to your body and boy was mine telling me that a non cohens weekend was too much. Usually I limit my non cohens stuff to a couple of times a week - not a whole weekend.

Have drunk plenty of water and feeling very tired from busy weekend and then a busy day at work - rude really - I wanted to have a little rest while I was there today. Never mind.

Cheers

I had such a graphic dream about my surgery last night - the doctor let my hubby watch and was doing it under epidural so I could watch too!!!!!

Thank goodness that isn't really the case. It was probably because my mum had an op on her thyroid yesterday and operations are definately on my mind.

Only 57 days to go - amazing..........

Interesting dream, Sharon. I'd love to be able to watch if I was having it done; I think it would be incredibly interesting.

Yes, less than two months now.

No doubt, something else will come along to obsess you, losing. I don't seem to have any conversation these days except my Cohen plan Maybe we have to be obsessive to be successful

hi sharon, just had a laugh at aj's comments abuot being obsessed....

we should remember though that we are actually obsessive compulsive....obsession is thoughts, compulsions is actions and we are doing both....

nothing wrong with a bit of obsessive compulsive i reckon....

not long now mate....how exciting

Hey there

Yeah I have a little obsessiveness in me - I also have a thing for ginger and white manx cats named Bobbie.....

Nothing to report today except that I am not weighing myself today. That is a first. Ordered a new size 10 work shirt and it is huge on me - I know I ordered it on a day where I felt really fat after the weekend. It'll do but....

Have a great day - thanks for stopping in Pen & AJ

People will think you're just getting smaller and smaller, Sharon, if the shirt is obviously big

Yeah not an early riser...I hate the mornings infact. I'm a nurse and on nights so it gives me something to do. Meanwhile it's comletely normal to be having dreams about your surgery...it's a pretty big undertaking to decide to go under the knife...and congrats for being strong enough to do it for yourself. Everything will be fine. Big hugs for luck, and thanks for dropping in to my diary. Bye bye now

Thanks Almost Eden

It is good to know that it is normal to dream about it. Got the actual bill today and I have to pay it around the start of May - that's only weeks away.

Son's 9th Bday in 7 days so that is the most important countdown at the moment. Must go shopping for that one.

Cheers

Hi

Okay so boys shopping done.....

Also while at shopping I went and bought my "nana knickers" for post surgery. They are those compressive tummy sucker inners shorts but they come all the way up to under my bust. ATTRACTIVE. They also bum lift which i'm sure I'll care about when I am recovering and in pjs all the time. I might be asking the famous "do these pjs make my bum look big" LOL....

I also got a no seam no wire bra for after I am out of the compression crop top that the doctor gives me to wear for 6 weeks. Lady at Myers suggested I buy the 12-14 size and boy.....I nearly slapped her........what is with that - I was looking for an 8-10 size but the smallest they do was 10-12 so got that one.

Anyway have a great day -

Cheers

another day down - good thing is I am really busy at work so it is making each day go so quickly.

My son has mastered making a cup of tea - so I should be right for that afterwards.

7 weeks 3 days - not so long when I look back through my diary, I must get strict with myself and run some more, but am happy to be maintaining at current weight and feeking pretty good. My face has cleared up again and I am starting a new attempt to keep it that way by sleeping on a fresh pilllow case every night. See how that goes.

Have to get the camera out for some photos beforehand,,,

I watched my last knee op - it was key hole surgery and the doctor asked me whether I wanted to be put out or stay awake and watch it. I told him I wanted to watch it. Was a strange sensation being awake and watching them operate on my knee - the weirdest sensation was the drain the had in my knee - it felt like I was peeing from my leg - so strange.
