Wow Elaine, congratulations. Reading your diary has me so motivated and what a sweet man your hubby is. Must be great to be able to buy whatever clothes you like. That's something I am really looking forward to.

Well done Elaine! You have done amazingly well and you are in a great mind space. It's trial and error and we are all different - so we have to figure out what works for us personally - which you have done. The hair loss is a small price to pay as you know that it will go back to normal once in maintenance. You look stunning in your new pic - and like I've said elsewhere - it's difficult to see 'where' the last 13kgs must be lost from. You will be getting lots of comments like - 'you're getting too skinny' etc, don't pay it any attention and just keep on trusting the good doctor.

Just a quick pop-in.

Today marks week 24 on Cohen's. So far, I have lost 77% of the weight and still on good track.

Had my Clinic visit this morning and extended my 6 month contract with another 3 months.

I still have more work to do in order to lose the last 9 kilos.... SINGLE DIGITS TO GO!!

Updated my album and sliding into size 8 soon.

Let me continue with my hectic life - I will try and chat again soon but work is keeping my busy all hours of the day at this time of the year.

Hi E

You really are looking so amazing and well done on hitting the single digit. Its kind of nice that you have an additional six months - you then have the option of continual support through maintenance which is when the real battle begins. I am very excited to watch you sprint to the finish line.xx

Hi Elaine,

I've read your diary, wow! Apart from you being an inspiration, your weekly weight loss almost perfectly aligns with what I've lost this far, I'm hoping mine will follow yours.

Single digits, now that is something, congratulations, I'm sure you will make it in the next 3 months if not earlier. I'm very happy for you that you didn't give up and got that extra 3 months right away. Determination will pay off in the end.

Today marks exactly 6 months on Cohens. Weight losses were great as I need to go another 8 kilos before reefed only but the best news is that I have lost 122 cm's which is a staggering 10 dress sizes in the past 6 months.

I apologize for not replying on all your wonderful Cohen crazy people's diaries but I do read them in between work and sleep and eat.

I am also on antibiotics and cortisone treatment and have not gained anything but feel bloated and can see the slow losses in my past week. Hopefully after the course it will drop quickly again.

I think I have the worse case of hair losses on Cohen as it seems to be my body reacting to any weight loss program. It is what it is. Once on maintenance, I can grow another mop again... maybe.

We had some great news yesterday, my sister in law had a beautiful baby girl after 10 years of struggling to conceive and a miscarriage. This is the most exciting news we had in years as I have taken my kids to Australia, leaving my in-laws with no grand children. Now they can enjoy their little bundle of joy and spoil her rotten.

Till next time.

Oh my goodness Elaine, 6 months = 122cm's gone!! 10 dress sizes

That is truly incredible, you must feel so motivated (and maybe a little impatient) to get rid of those last pesky 8kg's! can't wait to read your final post having arrived at your weight goal!

I am slowly crawling towards my goal but deviated on Mother's Day. No denying. My mom arrived Saturday from South Africa for a 3 week visit and on Sunday night I ate from the forbidden bowl. But I knew on Monday it is back to clean slate, back to strict EP and I don't beat myself too much up bout it. It is Tuesday already and I can see the drop in the scale overnight.

Hopefully I will complete my EP in the next 6 weeks and can start RF. Being on EP for 7 months sux balls! I am getting seriously hungry and cranky and not to mention feeling cold... all the time. But then a great reminder when I see my reflection in the mirror

It is nice to see all the girls doing Maintenance diaries and I learn a lot from your posts.

I also did bloods last week and all good. 8 Weeks to the next, but I hope it will be for RF and not just a standard blood test.

So far, I had 588 liters of water and 588 Cohen Meals + 1 forbidden meal. Awesomeness!!

Bring on the next 126 Cohen Meals!

Have an awesome Cohen's week.

Hi EEEE,
I had to giggle at your "sux balls" comment cos I'm only half way and got a while still to go. I hardly ever felt the cold before, now I feel like I'm freezing my ass off all the time.
I caught a glimpse of myself too the other day and I did a I was like "she looks familiar, I know her' and then realized I was looking at my own reflection! Too funny. Thinking of you during your first 2 weeks. Hugs Andie

Great post E

Well we all have faced similar challenges this week so safe to say you know I know exactly where you are coming from. I am also so cold my toes are pretty much a permanent shade of lilac. Today I wore my sheepskin slippers to the office!

Did you get to the gym I nearly sent you a selfie from the spin bike but then realised I would look like a bit of a chop taking a selfie while sweating on a bike - so just visualise this for now. I had quite a bit of time to observe people and its amazing how many people go there to flirt - it was like a speed dating programme!

Next week I will do pilates only just putting in a few cardio sessions to work off that forbidden fruit of my own.

Enjoy the week xxxxxxxxx
