Well here it is - not even Wednesday and I'm posting.

Great excitement - I HIT 30 kg, and need 50gr to 1/2 way lol. Of course my scales don't even do 50gr increments so I'm close enough.

I need for my daughter to be home at the same time as me so we can take more photos - I've been trying to do them every 10kg at least - just so I can see the difference, because I don't see the daily changes but the photos tell the story.

I HAVE tho, found some new bones - well not really new, they've just been missing in action for an awful long time. Starting with my collarbone, which I keep checking, just to make sure its real - silly me hey? Then the other night I sat on the top step playing with my grandaughter & felt my tailbone as I landed and thought "whoa - thats interesting, the padding must be on the move". Theres still plenty there, but obviously not as much as it was.

Having said that, I was trying on clothes this morning to see if I could contribute to the Brissie clothes swap morning tea - and found a pair of slacks that I haven't even worn yet that are now too big, so they've gone. Need to keep a closer eye on that. I have a couple of shirts that I try on regularly to see how close its getting but forgot about the pants cos they were still too tight last time I tried them.

Anyway - to quote Giddyupgirl "Happy losing everybody"

Suzieblue - instead of "Q-reply" on the right, go to "Post reply" on the left and then the smilies come up. Click on "more" and the whole list comes up.

Hi MC,

I caught your post in jlou's diary, but I wanted to answer it here in your diary (so you'll always be able to find it again ) !!

As I understand it, 16 is "top of the range" of normal sizing. Thus, once you hit 16's, the weight between sizes from then on down is around 6 Kg (I suspect it is actually 6.3Kg = 14lb = 1 stone in the old measure).

With you being a bit shorter, at 85 Kg you might still be in 18's or even 20's, where taller girls might have already hit 16's - it's all a bit complex. Fortunately, as sure as the Sun comes up, you WILL be hitting the 16's some time soon, and then RACING down through the smaller sizes from then on.

The GOOD bit about being shorter, is that you don't need to lose as much weight to go down another BMI point. Most girls need to lose around 3 Kg per BMI point, where you might only need to lose 2.5Kg (haven't checked, and can't while I'm replying )

Anyway, you are sounding in GREAT spirits, and, if you think you feel good now, hold onto your hat - think forward to how you'll feel at (say) a Size 12, or a 10 !!! Light as a feather, pretty as a picture, and on such a "high".

I'm sure you having family involved is a huge help to you and your resolve - so, just run with it, MumChum - and go win this race,

Hugs,

Koh

And me? I'm a tall skinny-ish bloke (BMI ~25.5) and have been this way forever, so I haven't faced (weight-wise) what you all have !!

Hi MumChum,
Was so good to see you again the other day and see how well you're doing. Have enjoyed reading your diary - I seem to have so many to keep up with and not enough hours in the day!

What is your friends username? I've forgotten her real name already! ANd all I can remember of yours is it begins with V! I'd like to check out her diary too.

Keep up the good work and I'll see you when there's a bit more less of us! lol

Sue
