Wow!!
That's quite amazing and also quite reinforcing about sticking to the plan 100% and not having a single thing that isn't on it, there is a little part of your brain that thinks 'its only a *mouthful, taste, lick, sip, tablet etc* it shouldnt make a difference if I do it 'just this once' but clearly it does make a difference.

You are going to be in your skinny minnie clothes before you know it at that rate. Just make sure you pack your big jacket when you come to NZ, its cold here!

Thanks for sharing.

I actually take magnesium as well. I checked that it doesn't have gluten and lactose but I might stop that as well. Might have a HUGE loss this week. Since I stopped the coconut oil I have lost 1.7kg in 6 days.

I am so close to goal. A little disappointed I won't get to do reefed before I go to NZ but I will get back on it when I return and do reefed properly.

I take magnesium also, would be interesting to know if it does make any changes, after reading some of the diaries I am quite happy to keep taking it for its ummm laxative effect as I really don't want to join the bunged up train
1.7kg in 6 days is amazing, you are creeping towards that under 60 range and being a 50's girl!

Aha - thank you! I have had some very slow periods as well with almost two weeks without a loss at some points. Doesn't show in my weekly losses; for example, I weigh-in on a Monday and I might drop 500g overnight to Tuesday so my loss for the next week is 0.5kg and then not lose for another 12 days and then lose 0.8kg over two days so my next weigh-in is 0.8kg.

Anyway, for now, it is moving for me. I have cut out the coconut oil and the magnesium and it seems to be working. I definitely think it was the coconut oil capsules that made all the difference.

Is your plan a new plan? Or an old plan? Are you sure you are leaving 5 hours from last bite to first bit between meals. Have you tried switching your meals around? Also, I have found I don't weight when I eat cheese so I have cut it almost completely from my plan. I also have my highest weight of seafood for my nightly meal and this seems to also help.

Do you keep a meal diary? This time around I have been tracking meals and my cycle against daily weight loss to try and see if there are any trends. That can help identifying what works for you and what doesn't. Would be good to see your losses if you are willing to share.

Perhaps you CAN start refeed before you go - just "mark time" while over there, then finish refeed when you come back? Anyway, what does your clinic say?

Main thing is that you don't eat TOO LITTLE when you come to this period of the journey. You have NO fat stores left, so you MUST get all of your energy from food. Even if the NZ trip is not quite Coheny, do your best to stay off the things you know are bad, and even increase slightly the good stuff.

Hi AZ,

I am using my old plan which I had 3 years ago. You are right, this round I dun watch some guidelines as closely as before. Sometimes I eat at 4.5 hours as I might not have time later on. And this diet makes me constipate and also get sore throats, thus I take herbal drinks at times.

I am trying to preserve on as long as I can for now. Hopefully I don't give in to temptations. Actually we have the same goal weights of 54-57kg. I still have 10-13kg to go. 😀 So exited for u, referring soon.

Thanks Starry - I take about 10 Metamucil tablets a night with lots of water and that keeps me regular. I used to take 6 but it wasn't working so I gradually upped it to work out what works for me. 10 seems like a lot but it works for me 😃

Thanks for dropping by.

I would be starting me refeed at 59.5kg but I will probably be there in the next week and we leave for NZ in 9 days sore ally not enough time. I think I will just try about choose high protein meals and not go overboard with the wine and then get straight back onto EP when I return and do my refeed either after 2 weeks back on EP 100% or when I get to 59.5kg; whichever is the later.
