Re: Ed's Diary
Hey Ed...
Good grief! I hope the allergy clears up ASAP!! And re the clinic saying to have extra food... that would probably be because a) health comes first, and b) it would better for you to allow yourself and extra cracker of cohens fruit than to suffer so much you end up out of control! Get better soon! xoxo Missy

Re: Ed's Diary
Golly.
Ticker time!! Week 15 weigh in: 3.6kgs this week, 40.3 total. I'm dumbfounded. I was expecting this to be a slow week (expecting TOM) and then the steroid tablet saga. Maybe they worked to my advantage? I'll try and get back later, best get to work. Cheer s poppets! |

Re: Ed's Diary
Thanks Gals!
Well tomorrow i have the postponed lunch and i know where we are going and i think i am psyched up enough for it - the first meal in 15 weeks that has not been weighted -eek! I will be good and hopefully have a steak/ chicken with salad but i think the resistance was a mental thing (cant devieate, cant deviate, no, no no) but will view it as a "best of the situation" thing rather than a full blown trainwreck. Should be noice. I had some extra crackers and fruit through the week (steroids making me hungrier, clinic said okay) and still had a fantastic loss. i'm stoked. Starting to get a lot more "you've lost enough, STOP now" comments but i know there is more to go - not just on the scales but i can see the wobbly bits. I can understand it though - my sister had anorexia 20 yrs ago and i know that is at the back of my parents minds but they don't seeem to get that i have a finish point and am getting there healthily. This is also the lightest i have been since i was 15 and am muscular too so i have always carried my weight relitively well. i would see (never really watched) the fatties on Biggest Looser and i weight more (much) than some of them but did not look anywhere near as rotund as them in all their glory. Really starting to look forward to re-feed but have trepidations about re-gain, i like the security of the programme and know that i may struggle afterwards when "let loose", especially now that i know that there is a great programme that i can lose it again... i will be strong. Enough rant. Happy loosing loosers! |

Re: Ed's Diary
Bleah, so the "lunch" was postponed again(!!) and i was sans food - went to woolies and grabbed some feta and vegies (weighed them on their scales) and made a pretty good guess as to the quantities.
I've been very brave and uploaded some pics under my profile......... |

Re: Ed's Diary
Hi Ed,
Quote:
Seriously, it is probably a good move on Doc Cohens part - as, previously, the goal range was predicated only on height and shoe size. Age HAS to be a factor, as it tends to "add a little more weight" to those suffering from too many birthdays..... prior to this, it was "one size fits all". I'd think you will be a happy "7Kg lighter" bloke once you reach goal - like, next week.... Koh

Just a big happy hushpuppy I haven't "done" Cohens - Asy knows me from way back - she invited me to "take a look" here - I did, loved it, and stayed... And me? I'm a tall skinny-ish bloke (BMI ~25.5) and have been this way forever, so I haven't faced (weight-wise) what you all have !! |
