Hey Michmac

Well done to you! Not only 9.80 kilos but 2 x clothing sizes.

I won't proclaim you 'Champion' just yet, but hope that the Challenge has added a little spice to your program over the past 8 weeks

It seems as if a few of us have added more than just spice .... but the final results are not in as yet and we laggards have the Two Week Sprint to go some way towards redeeming ourselves

But you are a shining example of all things right and virtuous and I hope you feel very smug in you not-so-snug trousers!

Cheers
Kristine

Hi Michmac - we are almost the same weight & our weight loss over this challenge so far has been similar. I see also that you have knocked over another goal - 40kg's lost. That is just amazing and all since January.
Well done you

Bump!

Just to keep this Challenge / Sprint on the Daily Post list

Let us all keep to the straight and narrow for the coming two weeks and see what can be achieved in that time

Just for today (Wednesday 6th June) let's do one extra 'weight loss' thing:
  • Maybe go out for a 500 metre walk (go and post a letter?) at a gentle pace (no aerobics!)
  • Maybe drink 250 ml extra water, sip by sip, across the day
  • Maybe choose a meal option we usually wouldn't pick - have fish instead of cheese, or 2 x chicken meals instead of 1 x chicken and 1 x veal, etc
  • Maybe choose a meal recipe we usually wouldn't do - make chicken into chicken soup instead of chicken and salad, etc
In other words, let's do something just slightly different today just because we can

This Challenge is about the fit of clothes, so maybe pull something out of the wardrobe you haven't worn for about six years and try it on, just for fun - it may surprise you!

Cheers
Kristine

Hi Kristine,

You're a champ - what a great bunch of good ideas !!

And yes, go on girls - do those "different things" suggested, and let's hear what happened for you - specially the "try on clothes" one. So many miss out on old fave jeans, etc - 'cos they don't believe just how FAST this thing can work !! Woohoo.....

Default TWO WEEK TOURNIQUET SPRINT: Monday 4th June to Sunday 17th June 2012

'Bump'

Today's reminder that this Challenge is now a Sprint To The Finish!

Let us aim to sharpen our focus from now through to next Sunday

In these two weeks we CAN make a difference

We CAN drop one clothing size

We CAN make ourselves more comfortable in what we are wearing

We CAN achieve our goals

So, what are we waiting for?

Let's JUST DO IT!

Cheers
Kristine

Default TWO WEEK TOURNIQUET SPRINT: Monday 4th June to Sunday 17th June 2012

Morning All

Remember we are now on a SPRINT TO THE FINISH!

My progress:

Commenced .. Monday 23/04/2012 75.80 kilos Size 16 very tight
Start Week 2 Monday 30/04/2012 75.40 kilos 0.40 loss size 16 not quite as tight
Start Week 3 Monday 07/05/2012 73.70 kilos 2.10 loss size 16 comfortable
Start Week 4 Monday 14/05/2012 73.80 kilos 0.10 gain size 16 comfortable
Start Week 5 Monday 21/05/2012 Not Weighed – on Holiday in the Barossa!
Start Week 6 Monday 28/05/2012 74.10 kilos 0.30 gain size 16 comfortable
Start Week 7 Monday 04/06/2012 73.30 kilos 0.80 loss size 12 corduroy fitting
Start Week 8 Monday 11/06.2012 72.50 kilos 0.80 loss size 12 corduroy comfortable

Thanks for the early posting Vivo - remember this Challenge is about 'fit' - no doubt that even if the weight loss is disappointing to you, that you have still shrunk over the past few weeks

It would be great to be able to fill in a few gaps in the Challenge Chart next Monday, and if we can all show a result to be proud of

This doesn't mean moving mountains, but if at the end of 8 weeks there is less of us, and we can fit into even 1 x size smaller than at the beginning, we will have done well

And if we have really shed the 10 kilos in 8 weeks, what Champions!

So if you haven't posted for a while, if you could post up on Monday that would be great!

Keep up the good work and concentrate on the Sprint this week rather than the Long Haul. One week will go in a flash and if we sprint it, who knows what our results will be!

Cheers
Kristine

bit late to join but I am hoping to crack the 10kg, I started @ 132.8 I weakened and weighed in on day 10 and did not miss the 7.7KG that had vanished that was 6 days ago. I reckon 10kg is doable before dday
current shirt size is 3XL but they have been starting to look tentish.

Well while I'm not completing the 10kg challenge as am on refeed, the jeans I tried on (which were super tight on the legs, near impossible to do up and looked AWFUL, I am wearing today and they almost fell down at the supermarket. So in some ways it's mission accomplished for me.

Looking forward to reading how everyone else is doing.

'Bump'

End of the Challenge / Sprint tomorrow

Let us make it a great fanfare with as many results as possible in, early in the week!

Let me know your Monday weight, plus the lowest possible size clothing (pants, jeans, skirt) you can get in to

This is about going from strangulation to snug, I don't want measurements but let us register size if we can

Thanks, looking forward to collating these results. I am sure we will be amazed!!

Cheers
Kristine
