And I would love love love to be able to get those orange lee jeans that I bought actually up my legs. They are a 28 inch waist so I guess I have to have a goal of losing at least 12 cm from my waist also. Now that may be a bit of an ambitious goal, so a mini goal will be to get my new white levi's size 10 to do up also. That one may be a bit more realistic. Starting waist 80cm. Re: Is anyone interested in a Sensational by Summer Challenge?
Week 1 (1 September): 61.2kg - weighed a day late cause I forgot.
Week 2 (8 September): 60.0kg - in 6 days, as I weighed Sunday last week!!!!! Week 3 (15 September): Day after surgery, not in any fit state to weigh!!!!!! Week 4 (23 September): Forgot!!! Week 5 (30 September): 56.3kg Week 6 (7 October): Forgot!!! Week 7 (15 October): Ok, a day ahead, but keep forgetting - 55.3kg refeed day 3 (14/10/12) - take 1 Week 8 (22 October): Today - 53.1kg, day 1 of refeed - take 2!!!!! Week 9 (28 October): 53.3kg refeed take 3, day 3 Week 10 (4 November): 53.6kg refeed take 3, day 10 Week 11 (11 November): 52.9kg, end of refeed weight!!!! Week 12 (18 November): Week 13 (25 November): Final (1 December): Total Difference: So, finally touched down in maintenance land, week 11 of this challenge, perhaps a little longer than I would have expected to get here, but hey, all in all, more important to get it right than to simply do it in a time frame just for the sake of it now. My next 3 weeks will be devoted of course to staying put right where I am. And perhaps the biggest challenge of them all!!!!! |

Week 13 (25 November): Final (1 December): Total Difference: So, my first week of maintenance almost over, a good week overall, weight is where it's 'meant' to be. A bit up and down with fluid, TOM and physical over exertion but draining away overnight at last. Eating has been spot on, feel like I've been 'naughty' cause I've had my bikkies every day, but only refeed amounts, so all under control at the moment!!! All good on this front. I have to admit, this is exactly the place I wanted to be in this challenge, skinny and into maintenance. Happy place!!! |

Another week rolls on by!!
A bit slower this week, really not sure why, water intake is good, 100% deviation free. The only difference is that I have started walking again but I am making sure I dont push myself, but maybe the body is adjusting to that. Can only hope it picks up again over the next few weeks. All good. Haven't intentionally gone down from last week to this week, has just kind of happened, not putting the bad fruits and carbs into my body that is required on refeed and so I'm thinking that I've just been balancing out and readjusting to the less sugar I've had in the refeed program. I guess time will tell hey, and appropriate adjustments will be made when and if the need arises!!!!! |

Re: Is anyone interested in a Sensational by Summer Challenge?
Wow I cant believe this challenge has finished!!
So I did not achieve any of the goals that I had set for myself in this challenge, but thats ok. I am much closer now than I was 12 weeks ago. I can get my white levis all the way up, I just cant get them to do up. Honestly I have not even tried the orange jeans yet. I have just hung them in the back of the wardrobe and they will stay there til around mid january, then I will pull them out and see what the go is with them. I am hoping that my white jeans will fit by christmas. That would be so awesome. I reckon another 4 -5 kg and they will fit me so it will either be christmas or failing that, my birthday in early january. So its all good. Either way I know eventually they have to fit. Just like I know eventually my tree trunks have to shrink. Week 1 (1 September): 87.2 Week 2 (8 September): 85.9 (-1.3) Week 3 (15 September): 84.8 (-1.1) Week 4 (23 September): 83.6 (-1.2) Week 5 (30 September): 82.9 (-700gm) Week 6 (7 October): 81.4 (-1.5) Week 7 (15 October): 80.4 (-1) Week 8 (22 October): 80 (-400gm) worst week ever since being on the program Week 9 (28 October): 79 ( -1kg) back on track... Hadn't really put weight on but went carbless for a few days and went back to 68 kg. Felt the belly was getting very pudgy and firm in clothes. So a little bit of a gap there now and not the overhang that had developed. Was tight and uncomfortable in clothes in that area. |

Keep peeking in the hopes that the scales will show me under 90. Maybe tomorrow! |

I will say that I have totally and utterly fulfilled every goal I had for this challenge, to get to goal, do refeed and then have some time in maintenance before it finished!!! All good, hope everyone else achieved the goals they set for themselves!!! |
