Hi shell, I'm not really hungry but I do feel like different foods. My body fat has gone up the last couple of days and I am still at around 28.3%. So I might still have a bit to go. I've read in a couple of refeed diaries that some peoples body fat on refeed is around 23%. I think yours was one. don't know what to make of that really. Love your new photos .. you look great. The scales have finally moved again..down 400gms to 58.6kg Lily ..yes we were very well behaved however I can't guarantee that for the next get together cheers Tuti |

This is new to me - body fat around 23% on refeed? I'm 22.3% and still 5.5 kg to the refeed... I heard the scales arent so precize, either...so, I wouldnt rely on that... |

Hi Tuti, i notice yr question re body fat %. What measuring tool are you using? I think the scales that measure fat % are fairly accurate but i know when i had a reading done at the gym - hand held "thing" - it mainly read upper body and didnt give me an accurate measurement as i still have size 12C and thats a good fat area!
I use scales that measure with an electrical pulse from one foot, thru body to other foot etc. My stats are : When i was 50kg, my body fat was just over 20% Now i am 56kg and my body fat % is 24% I am 159cm and my cohen goal weight is 52 - 55kg. At the bottom end of cohen say 52kg for me, body fat approx 21% When i was 69kg at start of cohens my body fat % was 36%. My advice, dont get too stuck on the % thing as it is overall body compostion and how YOU LOOK that matters. And your BMI is really COOL and low at just over 22 - now that is a number worth paying MORE attention to! Pandora |

You are right Pandora. I am not really worried about the body fat %. It was just something I noticed in other peoples diaries. It seems most of us end up around the 22- 21 BMI range which is terrific. Your lucky you still have size 12 C my girls have almost disappeared. I never really had boobs until I put on weight. Yes I have reached my goal and weighed in at 57.9kg this morning. My dilemma now is when to start refeed. I am still not hungry. I think I might keep going till the end of the week and then start. How totally wonderfully exciting for you Tuti! Congratulations! And yes, forget the body fat % it can play mind games with yr head - yr BMI at 22 is a much more amazing acheivement to focus on! Congratulations, Tuti, on reaching goal. You did the sensible thing and started Cohen's before you got too heavy, and consequently have had a shorter journey than most of us. If I put on weight again I'll do something about it very quickly.
The gym and the extra effort might bring on the hunger. AJ

Thanks Shell , Ez, Maya, AJ, Ae and Pandora (well I think I've covered the alphabet ). I have been feeling really good this week. Still no hunger pains. I didn't do anything to strenous at the gym but I felt really good afterwards. Must have been the blood flowing. I rely on my hubby to tell me if he thinks I should go on refeed. I don't want to look really skinny.(I can't believe I am saying that.) He says I just look normal so I will keep going until I get hungry. He cannot believe that all the ugly cellulite I had on my legs and bottom has gone. Yep gone Something to look forward to girls. I thought I would just have it for life and it was just something that you put up with as you're getting older. Another added bonus of this diet is the rash I have been getting for four or five years has cleared up. The doctor told me I have a nickel allergy and I would break out in a itchy rash like eczema. I haven't been able to use our spa because I would itch like crazy. I had to cover al the metal bits on my jeans and standing in front of the heater would end in me scratching like crazy. All those awful blotches have cleared up and I haven't used the cream for quite a while. I received a book in the mail today that explains your body chemistry. It goes into how adrenalin, serotonin, cortisol, melatonin and insulin afects your body and moods. I think it was Megain who mention Matt Church's book on someone elses diary. So I looked up the site and ordered this book. After having a quick look at it I think it will help me after refeed to understand the effects of different foods and drinks on my body and mind. How wonderful to be rid of the cellulite, Tuti. For you, even better news on the rash. I think that eating only fresh, natural foods must be good for us.
Remember, it's easy to add a bit back if you are too skinny. AJ

Hi All, Down another 600gms today to 57.3kg. I'm still not feeling hungry, tired or have any lack of concentration. I haven't felt short tempered even Athough that may change tonight. We have about eighteen 17-18yo footballers coming to our house tonight for a team meeting! What was hubby thinking Lucky my teenage daughter is working tonight I think I'll just keep rolling along till Monday now and see how I feel. Like you said AJ it always easy to put the extra weight on. My lower range Cohens goal is 56kg. Oh .. I posted some before and after shots. I still can't believe what made me post the before photo.
