Well done on your 10.3kg, your doing so well.

Is your water bottle constantly in your hand? I feel like mine is and I really have to push myself to get to 3 litres a day.

Hi All,
Just home from the beach and it was a lovely short break. Hubby wanted to measure some things for some repairs we have to do to the hut soon. He is taking some time off work and we will be down there for two weeks. The access to our creek is close to my workplace so I will travel to and from work from the creek and then I have a week off leading up to the Easter week end, as a result I will be down there for 2 1/2 weeks all up. March/April is a great time to be down there weather wise so seeing as how our daughter is no longer at home it makes it much easier to go away like this.

Which brings me to Jennys diary entry - that week end you are home is when I am down the creek BUT I am prepared to come into town for a few hours and see you. Access to the creek is tidal but I know we will work something out. I want to see how great you look too (heard you have also straightened your hair - isn't FB great!! LOL) So we will talk when you know your plans - maybe on the Sunday. You are both always welcome, but as usual your time here is limited. We haven't even got your dad down there yet.....

Vee - thanks for your visit - I don't comment in your diary but I do read it often. Thanks for your support.

Daffodil - I have added you to FB as well and enjoyed looking over your photos etc. Thanks

Sam - yes my water is always with me. Was a little difficult down the beach but I managed.

Maria - You are right we do expect too much from ourselves, but I am really pleased with my results.

Well the only bad thing regarding the beach visit is that I slept in and had breakfast at 9, so I have just finished cooking lunch and eating at 2.... But it was worth it. So my timer is going and I am hungry - I have cooked chicken soup from the recipe book and it is yumm.

Cheers Rosemary

Thanks Fiona & Shazza,
You are both right about the time at our beach hut - it is primitive but very relaxing. Fiona - glad to hear you are back on track.

I forgot to mention that I can now wear my wedding and engagement rings, so this is really great - my only worry is that they will be too loose soon......

I am so close to my next goal of being under 80 - maybe by weigh in on Thursday.

Wish me luck, cheers Rosemary

I am so holding thumbs that you reach your goal this week Rosemary. And isn't it the best feeling the rings getting loser. I have started wearing an interim ring as my wedding ring is a bit lose and I don't want to size it down until I am at goal.

Glad you liked my photos, I am a prolific facebook photo poster lol ... notice that there aren't many of me - I intend to change that in the not to distant future.

Keep Strong!

Rosemary - the rings sooner than latter you will be watching that you dont loose them..
I have the same problem at the moment but like hubby said weight till you are at goal and get them taken in... Im so scared that I will loose them but feel bare not wearing them might have to put a bandaid over them. LOL

Look out the 80's you will get there sooner than latter.. How exciting and bring on the next weighin to find out...

Have a great week.

Hi all,
Daffodil - I noticed that there were not many photos of you on FB. I know that feeling of not wanting to be in the photos, but as you said that will change.

Thanks Vee and Maria for your encouragement. I am confident that I will be at the next goal tomorrow on my weigh in day.

I will have to add some new goals as well.

I had lunch at Subway yesterday and I was careful with the amounts that I ate but Gosh it is hard when I am use to weighing to the gram... Then I had lunch with some friends today and another lunch planned tomorrow - I will have to see what I can do to space them out more. I seem to find chicken and selected salad is my fav choice when I eat out for lunch. I always check on the dressing though.

Hope these little eating out choices won't reflect on my weight tomorrow. I had a funny feeling around 10.30 - 11 today and I thought about my breakfast (Yoghurt and stewed apple) and still wondered why I might be feeling this way and then I realised that I had forgotten to take my vitamins so lucky I have a small stash in my bag for when this may happen. So I took them and then I felt fine. In hindsite I probably should have had some crackers through the day but I got busy and just sort of forgot. I did have my evening meal really earlier than usual but keeping within the rules of course.

Wish me luck on the scales tomorrow.
Cheers Rosemary

Hi Rosemary
I checked in with the consultant about my deviations (extra fruit one day, unweighed cohen-friendly choices a few times), and she said, those deviations, on rare occasions, wont stuff things up too much. She stressed not to make it a habit, though.

I have wondered at times in desperation, if there is a tiny scale that could fit into my handbag. I have a favourite handbag, huge (partner calls it the tardis), but love it, and I reckon I could at least weigh up undressed salad!!! But, then I think I am taking it too far, and should just bring my own pre-weighed food (which will also fit into the tardis) to the lunch and enjoy a diet drink with girlfriends....

YOu have been SOOO good being DF, that I bet your guesses are pretty awesome when you do go out....

Fat melting hugs to you!!!! good luck for tomorrow's weigh in...

Thanks Fiona,
I am proud to have remained DF this whole time. Even today my mum was talking about having a family pizza nite and she asked me would I join in and have just a small piece...................... My answer was that I would be there but definitely no pizza - I will probably just eat before hand.

I just feel that deviating is just not an option to me. Lets hope that I keep that idea for a long time yet.

Cheers Rosemary

Hellooooooo!!! Great to hear that D free status is in tact Aunty Rosemary. Good on you hope you are rewarded on the scales today.
Naughty grandma to think you could have a little piece of pizza NO WAY would have been my answer as well. Even now with maintenance pending for me the thought of digesting a pizza is gross. I would rather make my own so it was a bit friendlier on the belly.

We will sort out a time to catch up as the wedding gets closer.

Have a great day
Love Jen

Default Week 7 Finished

Hi all,
Scales were kind to me and I am now in the 70's - not by far though. 79.7 today. I have to admit I am still a daily weigher and the scales have not moved for three days in a row now so hopefully I am in for a big drop soon....

Jenny - You know how Grandma focuses on food - I think she just had to ask. She told Aunty Majella that she feels sad that when I leave her place I am going home to an empty house and my "diet " food - she would love to invite me to stay and have tea with them. But I'm fine and I actually enjoy most of the week that I have to myself. I try to plan things with friends and catch up on housework. We will definetely catch up when you are home. Message me on FB with your flight times. And is Mel and Greg coming too?

Another lunch out today so I am wary...

I will update my ticker later.
Rosemary
